Well, now you can find out thanks to this handy-dandy .csv file I made after a couple of hours of coding and waiting for the programs to hunt down every single like on Fuwanovel. I remember a long time ago Tay proposed a very similar idea: Fuwanovel Lit Journal Vol I. For various reasons it failed, but I think such a thing could succeed now (although I place a huge emphasize on that 'could'). I think the reasons it failed before was: 1) poor coordination: People signed up and volunteered to write but didn't ever submit anything (I'm ashamed to admit I am one of those people. Infact, this post here, was an apology gift to Tay for my failure in the Lit Journal project. He has since forgiven me). 2) Simply not enough active members: Fuwa in 2013 was a lot smaller than Fuwa is now. So not only did this severely limit the amount of people who could submit something, but the target audience was also very small. 3) Stuff relating to 1 & 2: There were a lot of smaller issues that related to problems 1 and 2 The reasons I think such a project could conceivably succeed now are for these reasons: 1) A decent sized community: There are way more active members now. Thus this completely solves the previous problem of not having enough people to participate (either as contributors or as an readers). 2) A wealth of topics and blogs that already exist: I feel that many great Blog posts go unrecognized. This would provide the perfect opportunity for those posts to receive more recognition. And furthermore, this means that you already have content to publish (you don't need to rely on 100% new content). 3) Better coordination: I feel Fuwanovel is way more coordinated than it was before. Thus making this an easier task to accomplish. Honestly a part of me is still a bit skeptical, as this is going to require a lot of hard work. Nonetheless, despite my skepticism, I do have hope and a strong desire to this project succeed.

Welcome to the NHK is the most overrated and most watched anime by anime clubs. It is an anime well worth watching if you haven't seen it but is plagued by rushed artwork and animation throughout (especially in later episodes). The show itself though is quite fun and is not afraid to take itself seriously at times. The basic premise is hikkikimori meets a girl. If you want a fun show I can't recommend Tower of Druaga enough the first episode while not completely accurate to the series is hilarious and it has a lot of good rpg/dnd type of humor scattered throughout it and has a surprisingly deep if a tad cliche at times plot (I also think the dub is better than the sub but uh to each their own). Rosario+Vampire is a fanservice romp which is so cheesy with characters also cheesy that despite how bad the anime really is it's still somehow enjoyable (and Mizore best girl). Vandread is the answer to the age old question of what if men and women really did live on different planets?...the plot is actually great and it's very entertaining imho and falls in the mech category somewhat as well. Black Cat is action with a bit of comedy and very shounen and is one of the first works by the infamous Kentaro Yabuki of to-love-ru fame. Honestly all the shows suggested have good points and bad points and honestly vote for what you think sounds interesting.

I'm with Sanahtlig on this one. Archiving and preserving Fuwa's history seems important to me. Some people may heavily disagree with Aaeru and view her leadership as a low point in this site's history, but we wouldn't be where we are now without her contributions. In many ways Aaeru did revolutionize the western VN community. She separated herself from other communities (notably TLwiki I believe) and started something new, and this site is a result of that something new. Understanding Fuwa's history is important in understanding how the broader western VN community has changed over time; at least in my view. You honestly don't seem to know Sanahtlig very well if you're saying that. While Sanah does like promoting his content, he puts out content worth reading. Furthermore, he's been involved with the VN community for over a decade, making him plenty qualified to talk about the history of the western eroge industry as a whole, or just specifically about this site. He's one of the few people in this community who has been around for a long time, knows what he is talking about, and genuinely treats his passion seriously. If the cost for having such a valuable member is simply him self-promoting his work; than it's worth tolerating his justified desire for attention.

I’d like to point out how amusing and realistic it is, that the thread reminiscing over Fuwa’s past even manages to capture the feeling of drama and angst which has always been a part of Fuwa’s make-up. It makes the sense of nostalgia all the stronger You can't talk about Fuwa's tribulations without speaking about how Fuwa alienated almost the entire Visual Novel community. I wonder where that fits on the timeline XD

Finished Kikokugai and Quartett. Both short VNs but different in almost every way. Both are good reads imo. Gonna read Period now.

If they fix the motion sickness issues that the Oculus currently causes to a lot of people after prolonged useage, I might consider. They need to make sure they get some depth in there, otherwise it's just like bringing a screen really up close to your eyes which is not so practical in the long run. Haha just gone and fixed it. Also added some new forums based on the nice feedback. If anyone has any ideas, happy to take them on board. Looking into promoting some people who wish to recommend some games and can write solid reviews so we can get the 10 games for curator.

Intro threads are overkill indeed, and I don't think people are really interested on who joined the forums until they actually interact with them. Community spotlights could be revived pretty easily I guess, as it's a monthly thing time shouldn't be that much of a problem. Agreed with the bold parts, though I just started working on the first line with the rest of the team. Either way, I'd definitely be up to help with this. From my experience with the weekly posts, lurkers are probably the ones who use this kind of feature the most but I do get regulars dropping a comment or two from time to time. As for getting discouraged, I don't think it'll happen. This might be biased because I'd keep working on the weekly lists regardless of people showing appreciation for it or not but hey, I still get some "this is useful, thanks" and "didn't knew about x thing until I saw this, thanks for working on it" sometimes, which kinda helps you keep moving forward I guess. The original material is the tricky part and the most important one I think. As people said already, this is just the weekly lists from fuwafabulous on a bigger scale, so unless something is done exclusively for this, it'll get repetitive. Having the community spotlight back is one thing that could work here, not sure what else though. MotM is kinda weird to work with. We had it in the past and it didn't worked, not sure why since I wasn't that active anyway. I kinda like the idea but it might just not be viable.

I really am kind of speechless. Strokes can be quite pernicious, and I lost my grandfather to one. In fact, he had one before 4 years before he died; and it adversely effected the rest of his life. I really hope this is something you can recover from and isn't too serious. You still have so many VNs to read, and therefore new Yandere's to discover!
