  1. Don't jump to conclusions. MoeNovel and YumeHaven are two different companies with different ownership. AGM owns YumeHaven, Pulltop owns Moenovel, this isn't disputable. AGM has done web design and promotional work for MoeNovel and possibly left that in by accident despite not being directly involved in the production or translation here. edit: If there is any shared staff between translations, it would never be that MoeNovel are responsible for Shuffle's localization. AGM is a huge localization firm who would have been the ones contracted to work on MoeNovel stuff, not the other way around. And they're big enough with enough staff that you can never tell what you're going to get from them. It is exceedingly unlikely that the same exact people responsible for IMHHW would be working on these new projects.

  2. Gotta agree with Tiag and Decay, the text in the screenshots looks acceptable, and there are even hints that they actually know what they're doing. It's kind of a shame the game itself looks like drivel. FYI, calling this "censored" when it hasn't been subjected to any form of official censorship and is, so far as we know, the only version of the game to exist, makes you sound like a crazy person.

  3. It may take a little longer yes, I don't know anything more specific than that at this point, but I doubt it would be more than a couple weeks, maybe a month at absolute worst.

  4. No catch, there was a slight possibility we might have had to restrict it somehow but we we able to confirm that there's no caveats for the standalone 18+. It'll be a simple matter of choosing which you want on BackerKit and then receiving your key(s).

  5. This is good guys. They won't ruin any existing visual novel and will instead produce their own garbage. Visual Novels dodged a bullet today.

  6. Man, that title really looks like a nukige. I guess this time the prime target are 16 year old horny french boys instead. Yes, but those had - what was the word again - ah yeah, a 'story'.

  8. Oh, but I am! Admittedly, censored isn't quite the right word. This game just gives off all sorts of pandering vibes to me that make me uncomfortable with the people declaring "at least it's better than IMHHW"! I'll wait before passing any more judgement on this game, though I probably won't be picking it up due to the heroines alone-honestly, who designed those characters?

    Fall 2016 Anime Discussion

Heck yeah, MGRP is one of the most underrated show this season. Granted it's not that amazing but it's really enjoyable nonetheless. Didn't expect much from it and the 3 episode rule doesn't really pique my interest but I decided to give it a final push and watched episode 4... it definitely exceeded my expectations. As of the latest episode, the show became incredibly hyped and one of my most looked forward of new anime this season, replacing Izetta which just became worse and worse after episode 1....

  13. Sepia Tears. It's free, it's a good mix of light and heavy emotions. It's free. And it's good. No harem. No fanservice. No sex. Just mystery, romance and humour.

    Fate/Grand Order

It was a great idea until the loli part....

  15. I have no particular reason to object. I'll play anything with romance in it, after all. If I managed to play IMHHW, and the English there was incomprehensible on occasion, this one should be just fine. The screenshots illicit no suspicions of incompetence.

  19. These guys seem to have learned from their mistakes, unlike whoever "localized" ChiSingura ... Launching a prefundia, launching the Kickstarter a second time with barely any changes and not really doing anything from the Prefundia, then blaming it on "someone else from the company started the Kickstarter again". See what a difference figuring out what your customers want makes?

  21. They just passed the halfway point, $40k, four and a half hours in. With such a strong start it's already basically cemented that they'll reach their goal, it's now just a matter of which stretch goals they'll reach. It took about nine days to reach the $40k mark last time, for a point of comparison.

  22. Then you probably should've been using Jisho in the first place?

  23. To quote the two synopses: The premises are fundamentally different. One sounds like the stereotypical setup for a nukige. The other sounds like Ah my Goddess and idols shoehorned together. The latter seems to be trying to distance itself from the former, not imitate it.

  24. Well, duh. But I definitely get the Sakura vibes from this one. Just the way it's being presented and its whole general aesthetic feels directly targeted at the Steam crowd that regularly buys Sakura games. Pulltop is at least a year late on this, though. The Sakura series has been in decline lately.

  28. dracu riot is better because of elina. thats all you need to know. but seriously, drau riot is better for its characters and story. noble works isnt without its merits but dracu-riot stands out as the better one in most peoples eyes. its got some nice comedy, some great characters and an interesting set up. once the patch is released, i highly recommend it.

  29. I think you should stop trying to theorize on what "females" like because this is a very cringeworthy conversation right now. I know plenty of women who like VNs with dude leads and I can see how Moenovel thinks they can market these kinds of games to younger girls.
