So I wanted to do a proper post about this and I gave up on that idea while I was writing it and then I was doing a blog and I also quit in the middle of it too, so here it is the lazy, bad and short version of both them. I wanted to give my thanks to a few people in the forum, very few, since i don't really talk a lot with many of you... actually I really dislike the idea of mentioning people in particular so screw that. So, happy new year everyone! 2016 was probably the worst year of my whole life, by far (no, not because of trump, fuck that! xD ). I'm hoping that 2017 can be at least a bit better... although 2016 did have a few good moments (I finally graduated from the university yaaay) and some funny moments too (that trump thread xD ) It really saddens me to see how many of you can't take a fucking joke anymore and you also feel the need to edit or censor them because of that, like the one that Tyr made that was full of awesome memes, references and jokes and yes even if you don't believe it he probably jokes around 80% of the time or is being sarcastic except when he is not.. which is around 99% of the time (I'm crossing your name out because i don't want to mention anyone) I didn't know that everyone was so easily triggered in this forum : ( when somebody can't take a joke and feels the need to shut the other person up because it feels aggrieved... it says a lot about how we are doing as individuals and also as a community, I noticed it not only on fuwa but on Twitter, Facebook, or any social media too, everyone seems to be at their edge all the time... come on take everything in a less serious manner! But please ignore all my rant, I don't want to start a fight I just wanted to point that out and nothing more. So yeah, happy new year! Best wishes to all of you, specially to all that people that don't like me.

Hello, mina-san I think that people will call me by my username, so yeah, I'm Kazami Yuiji (I know, is Yuuji). I often go to this forum for walkthroughs and occasionally for talks. I enjoy reading visual novel, mangas, light novel and watching animes. I suppose that I'm somehow otaku, but I do not draw manga or write storys... (but I'd like to write a light novel) Anyway, just for fun, I really like Kazami Yuuji from Grisaia no Kajitsu. A great and proactive protagonist, a little good looking (I'm a guy) and... summary, he's really cool. Oh, I almost forgot... I'm French. Given I'm pretty sure I've contributed next to nowt of worth in my 18 months here, I'm frankly amazed I've gotten to 500 posts in the first place. Since joining the forums, I've read the grand total of 13 VNs (which is way more than I thought, sadly), learnt the basics of the Japanese language and apparently, not much else. If the images @Asonn shared are to be used as a guide then oh boy we're in for a treat.... However I really do hope that like Mugi said this will just be a thing of the demo and not reflective of the final quality.

Well, don't know what to tell you. I didn't really notice the animation regarding that being better or worse than any other show (generally). About exploring it being a fantasy... well, that depends on your take. Fantasy doesn't mean elves, dragons and stuff. KonoSuba simply has the whole demon king and skills, and I agree that it doesn't really go very deep. But I'll also insist that the show got just 10 episodes. 10 episodes to introduce the characters, world, and keep the comedy up since, before a fantasy or adventure, KonoSuba is a comedy. We'll probably see on S2 if we get more stuff on this world, especially since it seems things will happen outside of the initial city where they live. You didn't finish the show though, did you? Aqua does maintain her bratty attitude (and in the OVA, too), which I don't think is a spoiler to tell you. If there's one character that does suffer, it would be Darkness, I think. She doesn't get that much screen time and it tends to revolve all around her being a pervert and part of other jokes. But, in the end, KonoSuba is a comedy, and comedy is a genre that, well... it either works or does not. Maybe you didn't like it that much and, on the other hand, many people have it on their top 5 of anime in 2016. The most I could do, I think, is to recommend you a couple of videos of people talking about why they like KonoSuba. Maybe you'll see smth else in those videos to convince you?

Ironically, that's what happened to me with Momokuri. Loved the slice of life silliness and cuteness. But every time the show tried (and utterly failed because, you know, Japan) to tackle the MC's lack of confidence "as a man," I just kept rolling my eyes non-stop until the show would go back to its normal course.

Maybe it's a good thing, but I rarely notice animation quality issues in most shows. KonoSuba didn't seem any different to me compared to other shows; the only thing I found slightly weird is the design of the MC. He just looks... strange. The girls are all designed well, though, so I didn't really mind. I can understand why you wouldn't watch it, but I did find the comedy to be well executed so I kept watching just for that, I suppose. That episode where was probably the funniest. I'm not sure if I'll watch second season then, but I'm already half way through chronological order so I think I'll have to keep watching it like this now.

I mean, you could probably make it very slightly less weird by taking off the cover and putting it back on when you arrive. I don't recommend it. Take pictures if you do so we can commemorate your humiliation.

Not that I've tried it before, but something like that would be way too awkward for me, so I would advice against it . Furthermore, I don't think you actually have much space on the plane. The daki would probably obstruct you from having meals and using the screen thing for entertainment (if you're on one of those flights that have those). The people beside you might not be too happy either.

Well, then it simply didn't work out. The animation is part of its charm (there's a difference between goofy and lazy, as seen in the plenty of times they go all out, for example when animating Megumin's explosions), and the characters one of its main selling points. There's obviously no storyline, though, as it's a comedy/slice-of-life, not an adventure. And the daily sequence of the first episode is what sold most people on the show. So if what made KonoSuba great made you yawn, there's not much to go on with =X

There is a hentai manga series of a male teacher, that got a job in a girls only school. this guy has a dirty imagination and he always imagines himself doing sex with the students, teachers and so on. he also really likes a model student (i think she is the first person he met in that school). This series has more then 20 episides, if i remember well. i can't find it. please help me!

As I recall, you need to use Name Breaker to defeat Evolia (as explained in the scenario, that's the reason only Nozomu can defeat her). Name Breaker reduces the enemy's combat mana regen by 1, so if Evolia started the turn with 2 mana, then uses her healing defense skill to defend (2 mana), she'll start with 1 mana instead of 2 mana on the next turn. If she selects the healing defense skill on her next turn (which she will, if she's still low on HP), then it won't activate due to insufficient mana and the next attack will critical (and likely kill her). Evolia can accrue defense mana over the course of the battle; alternating Name Breaker and Nozomu's Eternal move (-1 mana to target) as necessary, without pushing her to miss a defense skill too early, can help prevent this.

Actually, this is how Japanese companies, anime or VN, have always behaved. Massively overpriced products with some extras thrown in, like a $0.15 CD of the music or a $0.50 16 page artbook, in an attempt to justify to price. It's so common, that's it's a really old joke that the more extra stuff a company puts into the release, the worse the game itself is going to be. To a certain extent, the fact that Kickstarter allows them to spell out what you get in tiers and Stretch Goals is nice, because it makes it more obvious and straightforward.

Well, solidbatman is a 7/10 person. He has great moments, yes, but overall he isn't all that impressive. In my honest opinion, he does not deserve very high a place in the hallmark of Fuwanovel members.

Just started playing/reading The House in Fata Morgana and I have to say after 3 chapters in I am pleasantly surprised and am quite enjoying this visual novel thus far.

All the skits in A2 are compiled in a single file, and it's fairly small -- only about 7kB long. To put this in perspective, the longest day in A2 (which is technically broken up into a couple scripts, but that's not too important) is a little under 70kB long, and the entire game is just under 1MB

At his best, solidbatman can be entertaining, with scintillating wit; however, most of the time he just comes off as salty and unable to handle people liking what he does not. All in all I will rate solidbatman a 7/10, polarity -3 / +2. He does not, IMHO, deserve a position in the hallmark of great people, but he's cool enough to be around that I usually don't regret it.
