I can't say I agree with this. You know that if you purchase a game like that, you are basically sending both SG and the original creator a message that their approach works and they can continue selling future games in the same way. I personally would rather skip the game altogether than purchase it from them.4 points -

Unreasonable pricing how? Script the length of 6~8 novels (6~8 * 500~1000 yen = 3000~8000 yen) Original Sound Track (2000~3000 yen) Voice acting (Sound Drama which likely have much less content tend to be priced ~3000 yen) Full-colored CGs (Illustration collections seem to be ~2000 yen) Visual Novel (new work of decent size ~9800 yen)2 points -

Interesting to see how the point of this topick was SakuraGames shitty business practice, but it turned into the developer being an asshole. I don't really see his point but it's his work so he can decide what he wants to do with it. Even if it sounds rude. As for SakuraGame, well ... I'm not surprised.2 points -

As much as I understand this, I can't really agree with it. How is it possible, I'm somehow able to buy japanese vn's without issues and don't find them to be a major burden for my wallet, even though I'm literally from the same region and don't sleep on money? It's a matter of perspective. Modern gamers are really spoiled nowadays. Steam users often compare vn's with AAA blockbuster games and then proceed to complain about their pricing, considering their low replayability, limited gameplay and focus on plain text reading. Within their minds, creators of vn's can't possibly approach them and charge the same price, because their games are literally less than 10% of what an average blockbuster game would be in terms of it's worth. It does not matter a lot of vn's are often far longer any modern AAA game is; as long as it involves only "reading and looking at cute pictures", those games don't deserve an equal price tag. Period. It's the same people who don't read books and sadly, vn's are closer to books, than actual games in many cases. They are a part of interactive fiction, after all. In the end, it's their choice - either buying whatever new EA or Ubisoft throws at them or another waifu simulator. Though choice, indeed. I actually preferred when less people knew what vn's were and they didn't occupy the Steam store front.1 point -

I dedicate this to all those who pulled Okita on Yolo or few summons. I took all your bad luck, 650 quartz 0 okitas, 0 5*s, and in my 23 rolls in a row, I got the BARE min. Best roll was my last.1 point -

I think it's the line 'That is why I hate kids nowadays...', which according to my knowledge was using by an old man who see the attitude of newer generations. It's just my opinion though.1 point -

Late to give the recommendations, so I guess it's better late than nothing here. As for PSV VN, surprisingly there's a number of that although admittedly the VNs were also available for PC as well. If you interested with Utawarerumono, then try both of the sequels which also available for PSV as well and if you want to catch up with the first series just watch the anime. There's also Island in which it's all age in the first place unlike Himawari, and I think you may as well try YU-NO remake there. For last recommendations, looks like Flowers could be good VNs for you as well seeing that you like shoujo ai in the past - right now three out of four seasons were also available for Vita (Spring, Summer, and Autumn). Hope the recommendations will be helpful there, and for the information all of those were also available in form of cartridge (All ages in the first place as well). PS - To @Asonn there, granted that Dergonu could just read the back cover but I think there's no harm to recommended some VNs if I may say something. And by the way your reply looks like the stubborn salty old man to me there XDDDDDDD.1 point -

Net high... Just play it! Tokushu Houdoubu 特殊報道部 Shin Hayarigami 1-2 真 流行り神 -- Also, maybe KonoSuba if you like anime games? Or "Date-A-Live Twin Edition Rio Reincarnation" is very good choice(~2 games in one)1 point -
Just remember 90% of the times the porn is added just for the sale and don't have any other values. You are one of the problems why my Visual Novels have shitty porn in them. Shame on you you piece of garbage. And overwhelming amount??? when I was in akiba it was not a whole lot? and do you know you can read the back and read a short description of the game??? That is why I hate kids nowadays, can't think for themselves and need a recommendation well they can pick anything up what looks interesting from the cover and read the back of the game to know the general idea what the game is about.1 point

how about going to the akiba and look around and pick anything you find fancy. Don't think about stupid shit like but maybe this game is censored. I bet if you play it and don't look up the original stuff you won't notice that anything is censored.1 point

School Days HQ

School Days HQ Summary In the school the three people met. Their relation had been changed in the season, and turned into three love stories. Makoto has been admiring a girl he has seen on the train. That girl is Kotonoha Katsura, and he even managed to take a photo of her with his cell phone. Due to new seating in his class, he ends up next to Sekai Saionji, a nosy, but sweet and sincere girl. As she snoops for his cell phone while talking to him, she discovers his crush and vows to help him until Kotonoha agrees to go out with him. When Sekai finally gets them together, she realizes her own feelings after finding out that the person Kotonoha liked was, in fact, Makoto. While waiting for her train next to Makoto, who was waiting for Kotonoha, she has him talking about how he can repay her for all of her help. Before leaving for her train, she kisses him and cries when she boards the way home. Kotonoha happily arrives for her date with Makoto shortly after. With all three main characters carrying different expressions on their faces, the story begins. Ending Guideline / Suggested Route Order In School Days HQ, there's 22 possible endings for the player to experience. The endings are divided in: Main Heroines: Kotonoha (7 Endings) and Sekai (5 Endings) Sub Heroines: Hikari (2 Endings), Otome (1 Ending), Setsuna (1 Ending) Two Harem Endings And lastly 4 Bad Endings. The route order i suggest will be the: Two main heroines Kotonoha and Sekai Endings, Sub heroines Endings, Harem Endings and lastly the (infamous) Bad Endings. The Vn has Timed Choices , the player can also use right click to increase he countdown. School Days HQ also has built-in Flowchart , simply load and choose where you want to return to (only when you've been through the route).
