I too hate when people get payed for their work

MoeNovel is a best company! It's an only decent company that cares about actual fans who actually likes VNs and not about perverts who only see VNs as fap material. They have my full support and respect for not going for easy money by giving perverts their fix and ruining a VN with H-scenes crap but instead sticking only to a fixed (all-ages) versions. We need more companies like them!

I dont intend to use fakku's services and never really used fakku before either (they were shit before they went commercial as well) but let me summarize for those unfamiliar with fakku: the hate for fakku stems from how they once hosted stuff for free (illegally) like sadpanda etc but then they went commerical bought licenses and then they demanded other sites to take down everything they now own people hate fakku for pretty much the same reasons they hate crunchyroll at first they were free and didnt give one shit about copyright but once they went commercial copyright suddenly started to matter way too much drama in the western scene for me pro-tip: learn Japanese

Hello everyone! I'm pretty new to VNs as I have only been reading them for less then a year and aside from the couple I have picked up along the way, I am fairly new to them. I randomly stumbled upon this website earlier today and thought it might be a good idea to join and get some recommendations as well as join a community of like-minded individuals. No, they (Illusion) didn't give a shit, unlike say crybaby minori (who btw still to this day block non-japanese IPs from accessing their website). No, this is Japan itself not Illusion or any specific Eroge/VN developer, as in it's a japanese law that's been implemented ever since the western RapeLay nonsense. Before that there was no "JAPAN SALES ONLY".

It's actually very good. I've basically non-stopped played it since I started, like a week ago. The story is intriguing and they do a good job with character growth. There's a good mix of silliness and sadness and seriousness in it. It's free to play, which is a plus, and has amazing characters. The music is really soothing to listen to and I love the art style. I would definitely suggest it, especially if you like magic and fairytales. And, if you do play it, I would suggest playing Rumple, Rod, and Karma first, before playing Fritz and Waltz (the two characters that unlock after you play the others). And, if you do play those two, play Waltz last, because his route is definitely spoiler-heavy and seems to be the main cannon route for the story.

Finally getting around to playing "Cinderella Phenomenon". 32 Hours in (slow reader and had to replay Karma's route, cause I love that dude <3) and almost done with Waltz's route. Got one more to go and then I'll be done.

Finished playing Love Ribbon and it was pretty decent and oftentimes vaguely uncomfortable (You know the whole incest thing) I thought they handled it in a good enough manner and there were some sweet moments. One thing that really annoyed me is that so many times they would do something or say something only to be interrupted by a third party (this happened like four fucking times)

while I get that it's bad I don't think it is THAT bad to justify all the hate, honestly I don't even remember that specific mistake, but I guess on this matter we can only agree that we disagree. You say the problem isn't in them removing H-scenes but that is what 9/10 people complain about, they just try to dig up other things as well and then heavily exaggerate them to try to make situation look worse then it is and I could bet my life on it that there would be no all those complains and fuss if they ware releasing 18+ version. I mean just look at translation of all those big(er) JRPGs like Hyper-dimension or Agarest series for example, their translation are 100 times worse, it's harder to find a line translated correctly then incorrectly in them and sometimes translation doesn't even resable to what is being said and yet nobody is complain about them (Oh wait there was actually a fuss about one Agarest game..... But it was fully about removing of 2-3 fan service CGs), Yet people everywhere raise a fuss over a couple lines being somewhat off in Kono Oozora? Not to mention that there is no proof to believe that such mistakes will repeat. Yet only some mistakes in only one of their VNs is enough to go around complain about it for over 4 years and trying to destroy a company? Let's face it, most complains are just perverts rising a fuss over not getting more porn.

A Clockwork Ley-Line: The Borderline of Dusk. End of the Chapter 2. the "classic" magic school setting is pleasant, the story is ok, all the girls are cute/interesting and the art is globally awesome. one minor problem, though : Kotaro is a bland character (design, personality, behavior) Edit : and before I forget : Koga Michiru is a pretty cool protagonist

Pulltop shenanigan in regard of censoring 18+ content aside, I think Miagete itself was pretty good VN even without H scenes because it's more story driven VN, and apparently the sex scenes was more likely just usual vanilla one so it might be not interesting - but that doesn't mean that Pulltop could cut the H scenes, okay. Other than that, I think you perhaps better be careful in regard of the drama namely that there'll be love triangle in two of four routes (Saya and Hikari, coincidentally the main heroines of Miagete), so perhaps you might consider that fact before decided to play Miagete. If you decided to play that then have fun and I would say that you better pirate that, so Pulltop learned their lesson to not censoring 18+ content for overseas release anymore (Sorry).

Exactly, I can confirm this as well. The dirty jokes, the kissing, the bath scenes are all in Moenovel's A Sky Full of Stars. The only thing they removed are the H-scenes. It was like this with the two Love Kami games as well, everything was intact except for the H-scenes.

To be fair, it looks like a life-changing experience. Not in a way I would want though...

Yeah, I'm really looking forward to this one as well. I've also my eyes on Serizawa Kamo since the first time I saw her. Character design wise she's my absolute favorite. She emits the same badassness like Shimizu Ichigaku, but appears at the same time more soft and pretty. It's a petty that she's not one of the main heroines. Though I expect her to take a somewhat similar, prominent but more villainous role as Ichigaku in Chusingura. From the actual main heroines I like the designs of Hijikata Toshizou and Kondou Isami most, though the other two also look fine. Two secret favorites from the other heroines would be Itou Kashitarou and Nakamura Hanjirou. It will be interesting to see how the VN will turn out in comparison to the last one. I'll probably give it some time until first ratings are dribbling in, but it's certainly a VN I have high hopes for.

So, i finished Sharin no Kuni. A pretty solid VN with great soundtrack, story and characters. As one, who has read G-senjou prior, i just can't not point out how similiar the VNs are (i was kinda expecting it anyway, since it's from Akabeisoft aswell). I still prefer G-senjou, though. Battle of wits between 2 archenemies with some mystery elements and in Sharin, a young man who struggles with the ideas of society are both really appealing to me, but the former is just what i love the most. Can't decide if Natsumi or the last spoiler heroine is the best I rated Sharin 9/10, 10/10 for G-senjou.
