  1. It's pretty much what anyone said, using VNDB (Or to be exact look at this page). Or if you want to get some review in regard of preview for the release of Japanese VNs, maybe this site could help.
  2. It's not weird if I said so. In fact I think there's a lot of VN which had the setting in the winter. And since looks like you could read Japan there, might as well recommend both of Astral Air and Gin'iro Haruka. Both of those were quite long, especially Gin'iro one. Hope it'll be fulfill your request. PS - If you want more recommendations, just check this list. Note that all of them were had Winter tag.
  3. Maybe Clannad would be good for you. And I think if you want some good song as well, perhaps Symphonic Rain there for more recommendation. Hope it'll be help.
  4. Don't care about HD thing, but I just take a look to the Steam page. The size was surprisingly low for newer game (3 GB), so maybe the length for this game could be at least around Koi Resort (Or maybe MoeNovel managed to compress the file size perhaps). As for interface, it's usual Pulltop so not much to comment here. That's all for now.
  5. If I may give some opinion, I would like to think that Dracu Riot was some sort of Yuzusoft attempt to improve their game, and I think it was quite successful looking from general reaction. Although of course Noble Works was still had some good points. And since those two were charage, I think it depend to the heroine from each people out there (There could be some people who favor Noble Works heroine). I think that's all I could think for now.
  6. If that's the rule, okay then. It's not like that the world will end if I couldn't hide the indicator that I was edited the post anyway, and I'll just try to get use with the indicator here.
  7. So, anyone else looking forward to the VN which had kyonyuu goddess idol group and apparently didn't had sex content here? If so just said it here, although my response here would be okay whatever. Just saying. Anyway, I'd think that this VN was had the same idea as Time Leap Paradise, which also had same element (Idol) and created by Frontwing. Other than that, no comment for MoeNovel attempt there to made another release.
  8. Compared to Clephas here this list was had at least some more of accessible title for English reader compared to Clephas list. To be honest I didn't pay attention to any of VN writer closely, but let's see what kind of opinion that I could give here. For Infinity series, from what I read somewhere else both of Uchikosi and Nakazawa work together only on two Infinity series (Never7 and Ever17). After that apparently there's some friction between those two and they decided to work separately. Also the friction was could be the reason why Remember11 were incomplete, or so what I'd read and therefore Uchikoshi left the development (Just consider Remember11 as Nakazawa's work). And for more information there, I think I'd also read that Uchikoshi sci fi was more lighter than Nakazawa ie more easily understandable (I couldn't be sure though). Maybe I could add more info regarding the duo if possible, or perhaps there's some user here who could give the info as well. No comment about Masada and his sort of 'disciples', other than apparently Light sort of using their popularity there to write more chuuni although it's normal business practice though (I didn't read any of those three works yet though). But looking at Higashide other than his works at Propeller, he also work as the assistant writer for Princess Waltz. Granted his position was only as assistant for the main writer, but looking at the VN setting I think it's definitely had some his influence. Just my impression here, and it could be wrong. Ryuukishi first four works (When They Cry) was had some quite unpleasant graphic to see if some user already used to modern anime art (Especially the sprite). Although to be fair it was promoted as sound novel though, and therefore his style to be more focusing on huge list of the soundtrack (I mean very huge and could easily reach hundreds) as the medium to enjoying the VN (Also sounds effect as well). As for now, I think his sprite in each of his game was definitely improved (And drew by different artists), thanks to the major boost of income that he got from his When They Cry which turned into very big franchise. Oh, and the sprites proble could be fixed by apply graphic patch from console version. And I think he kind of like write some of histories of war iirc (Not sure). Murasaki, while Dengeki and Baldr series was his best works, he also write Duel Savior as well which was translated back at 2012. But other than his solo works, he also the member of some group with the name of Kikakuya. Kikakuya themselves were mostly act as assistant writer, but just like Higashide example they probably could leave some influence in their work and therefore Murasaki could be involved in some of the works that Kikakuya write, even only a little bit (They also help at Murasaki VNs by the way). As for Kikakuya, they help write both of Seinarukana and Yumina for the record. I think that's all I could think of here for more elaboration, and maybe I'll add more if possible. Keep in mind that once again I maybe too biased or wrong here.
  9. Speaking about recommendation here, to be honest I'm not that experienced yet, but let's see what I could suggest here. I think in general any of Eushully games could qualify as chuuni, and for Eushully games that I was interested there was two. Soukoku no Arterial were had card battle and thrown into another world plot (But first two chapters were alike usual moege ie school life) and Madou Koukaku was had almost same gameplay as Sengoku Rance (Also deal with old time setting). I knew that those two were had translation patch, but since the patch was using MT might as well treated those two as untranslated. By the way those two was full of gameplay. If you want some of sci fi, maybe Flyable Heart and it's fandisc could count (Play untranslated one) although it's only apparent at some route though and very later at that (It's mostly moege by the way). Or if you like Frontwing maybe Island could be good, and since you could survive Maggot Bait there, why not upped it to Tokyo Necro then if you look for more sci fi? And if you like crime solving, actually there's Kara no Shoujo duology and Cartagra which was translated but if you interested with untranslated one, maybe this could be good. And perhaps you could also try Tokeijikake trilogy if only there's a tag detective work for the trilogy back at VNDB. That's all for my recommendations here, and hope it'll be help.
  10. Visual Novel Translation Status (11/19/2016) Welcome to my VNTS Review for this week, and as for the title since we had Enigma as the image header I thought that I'll just using the setting from Enigma (Carlyle) to made the word akin to the welcome at When They Cry series (They had 'Welcome to Hinamizawa' for Higurashi and 'Welcome to Rokkenjima' for Umineko). As for the VN, congratulations to Fruitbat Factory and PhleBuster as the employee of Fruitbat Factory (Or should I said Phlebas who was quite known as Dakkodango Translation staff back at 2010, although I guess it was quite obvious) for the release of Enigma, and of course thanks to Conjueror too as the translator. In regard of Enigma, I think it was quite positive looking from Kaguya enjoying this and gave 5 stars here for the review. Also for now the VNDB score was at 8.17 although to be honest it's still not enough though because it was only had 9 votes (Much less than Fata Morgana when back there was only had 62 votes). For me, well perhaps I will take this game in the future. Other than Enigma release, this week we also had Shuffle released on Steam which was only PS2 port according to some people, so obviously there will be no sex scene there duh (Nevermind, it's just like Dracu Riot patch release ie slip up release. But I'd decided to still gave my comment). As for my response, well I'm already completed this so I think I'll not that interested with Steam port, and I'd already knew some VN that was better than Shuffle. But it's still one of my first serious eroge, and nothing could change that. Oh, since we had Shuffle release on Steam might as well say rest in peace to the writer, Argobarrier who passed away back at March. As for MoeNovel, still not clear whether it's new release or just one of already released VN go translated. Let's just wait and see, although I said that there's a chance that MoeNovel will using crowdfund and chapter based release if they developed new VN according to the current trend. As for the roundup for the translation progress, first of all once again Mangagamer made surprise update and I'd already listed it at last VNTS Review. So here's the progress below and I'd already commented about it at my last VNTS Review too. That's all for relisting of Mangagamer updates here. This week Sekai also at their usual, although it was still good though so noting much to comment here. For roundup Chrono Clock was at 64.66% translated (At least it was sped up from last week progress), Maitetsu was at 59.69% translated, Tenshin Ranman was at 68.654% translated, Bokukotsu was at 15.93% translated, and Princess Knight Chapter 2 was at 98.27% translated. For the info of releases, we had both of Nashvile and Japanese School Life which will be released at three days later (November 23rd). From the first look, Nashvile was some kind of yuri VN which apparently something alike Highway Blossom, while Japanese one sounds like Go Go Nippon only with also transferring school although looks like the description was spoiling all of the story though. That's all for Sekai For fan translation, this week we had Tsui Yuri managed to had 16.5% retranslated; Loverable was at 32.04% translated, 12.97% TLC-ed, 8.89% edited, and 5.21% QC-ed (Very nice progress there, and by the way the translation team was preparing trial patch for Loverable); Majokoi was at 58.1% translated and 43.8% edited (Fred said that there's some nice progress from both of Cinderella and Kozue's routes translation); and finally this week we had Sayooshi finally reaching 40% translated mark (Or to be exact at 40.2% translated). Oh, and this week we also had Ushieta was already pass a quarter mark translated here (27.5% translated), although too bad though that they plan for releasing partial patch was cancelled because of some technicality difficulty according to this post (Good luck). For last update here, finally ToHeart 2 getting a proofreader and hopefully from now it'll be smooth sailing to the finishing touch. That's all for this week VNTS, and see you next week. PS - Today finally Arcadeotic gave his long awaited update here. So let me write the updates for both of Bishoujo Mangekyou progress. For Bishoujo Mangekyou 1 we got the progress at 96% edited, 91% QC-ed, and 48% TLC-ed; and as for 2.5 we got 49% translated there (Almost halfway) and 45% TLC-ed. That's all for the update, and thanks.
  11. I'd just using Japanese version and patched it using available translation patch out there (Also add H scenes ie came from restoration patch) ie not buying original Moenovel version. I still thankful to them though, if only for their messy translation lol. Anyway, if some user said that is there a hame with Akihabara and shrine, I said Steins Gate was qualified (There's a shrine for short time) which of course not. Though with silhouettes of three girls and lotus (Or maybe water lilies) it's quite hard to see. It could be one of the VN at VNDB, but with almost 20,000 entry let's just said it'll be very hard to search. Or maybe it could be new title and seeing that crowfunding and chapter release based becaming trend, maybe MoeNovel will do the same although I'm not sure though.
  12. I already knew about that though, but thanks anyway. As for Rina Satou, she had role as the main heroine for old translated eroge Snow Sakura Souya Misaki (Not infamous Sakura franchise by the way). Other than that and some other, most of her role was in all age VN. And speaking about seiyuu from To Heart 2, my condolence to one of the seiyuu there who already passed away (Honda Chieko, who also played Meroko back in Full Moon anime). About Detective Conan seiyuu who also had role in eroge, there's also Yukiko Iwai who played as Yoshida Ayumi back in Conan. Some of her role in eroge were Senzaki Mirai from Soukoku no Arterial and Nishino Aki from Baldr Sky duology. As for Ikue Otani, I think she didn't play any role in eroge as far as I concerned (Same goes with Kikuko Inoue), although maybe To Heart could count though if we talk about it technically. Speaking about technicality, I think we could include Horie Yui who was already voicing Tsukimiya Ayu back at Kanon (Kanon was eroge at first), although for more info she was voicing PS2 version though which of course already had the H scenes censored, so yeah she was never voicing H. Speaking about more seiyuu, I think both of Fukuen Misato and Sendai Eri could be qualified as well, especially Sendai who use alias Haruka Sora who just had many roles in some more recent eroge there according to VNDB. Both of those was voicing the Cures from Pretty Cure franchise (One of them was not exactly Cures though. Quite hard to explain) by the way. Oh, and since we had Shuffle rereleased at Steam, let me said that Miki Ito also play a role in Shuffle, and yes it's in original PC version as well (So it's definitely count because the original version was eroge). Her role was green haired heroine, Shigure Asa. I think that's all for my additional elaboration here (For now at least).
  13. Replaying Kamidori, and this time I'll go with Serawi as the first route (Last time I was go with Emelita as the 1st route). Quite addictive albeit there's too much grinding (I'm grinding my weapon mastery right now).
  14. Ummmm.... false? Next person, how about looking forward to Himawari release there at December 9th?
  15. May I request the translation of Sakura no Uta, White Album 2 - Closing Chapter, and Soukou Akki Muramasa with the deadline one week here? Thanks in advance.
  16. If I could give the suggestion here, it would be just find out by yourself although you may already did that though. Well, have fun for playing ToHeart 2 there and I think it was fine enough if you ask my opinion about that. Oh, and for recommendations I think as far as I knew Majikoi was the one which had heroine like Tamaki. And to some extend I think Satsuki from Seinarukana also like Tamaki as well. keep in mind that those two were very long VN and the latter was gameplay too. Hope it'll be help.
  17. Maybe you'll not satisfied in regard of slice of life from the VN, but if you need good atmosphere and music you could try Symphonic Rain. Other than that, maybe MYTH if only because there was good music (The composers were from 07 Expansion). Have fun.
  18. Interesting taste I guess. If you need some mind break, maybe Yukikaze could serve you well and Asagi trilogy as well to some extend (Both of those were quite decent if I may say so). For NTR, I'd just following VNDB tag, but might as well recommend Discipline (Not my taste to be honest) and Rinkan Kurabu. Oh, and if you interested in reading untranslated VN, I could said NTR 48 will fulfill your taste (With some incest). By the way, all of my recommendations were nukige, and if you want less nukige one, maybe School Days. Hope it'll be help.
  19. Just realizing that there's no choice to hid that the post was edited anymore. Other than that, nothing wrong I think.
  20. Well, speaking about translation nothing could beat Eushully VNs MT narration patch if we talk about inedible translation (I'd already tried those). Anything else than those would be at least still edible to me. Just state my opinion here.
  21. Well, Higurashi is the most people would like to think. But I think Subahibi could qualify as well. Just saying.
  22. Welcome to Fuwanovel, and as for your project good luck. As for Mass Effect, I'm not quite familiar with Mass Effect though to be honest. Hope you enjoy yourself here.
  23. Let's see, right now I'd already finished Kururi's route at Flyable Heart so let me write about her route and my opinion. Kururi was some kind of teen genius who apparently hate Shou. Turn out it was because of her past which was misunderstood about love in the first place. She was sort of adopted by Amane's family, and she saw that Amane's mom crying because of her husband who married of another woman (Souryuu's mom). After that, she decided to not trust the man at all until she meet Shou that is. Oh, and the first time Kururi was only used him to be experiment though, before finally developing she was falling for real (She was faking about fall in love with Shou at common route). Her route was to be honest feeling quite short to me and had no epilogue like Mayuri, although to be fair Kururi's didn't leave any unsolved problem though. Her problem was that she felt embarassed after Shou knowing that she mistakenly sent her mail to all of the students that she was only using Shou for experiment, and Shou knew about that. While the problem was sounds quite simple, the consequence was quite fatal that she was died before Shou finally decided to do time loop. Oh, and by the way apparently our white hair heroine Suzuno was involved for time travel back at Amane's route (Also Sakurako's apparently, but couldn't be sure). While there's not much from Kururi in her route, it reveal the existence of time machine which was exhibited at school festival, and it was real because at first look it was only trick that tell the people to wait for 5 minutes inside time machine. Other than Suzuno and time machine, it also reveal that apparently Souryuu didn't met with Shou before the explosion that started the game (Forgot to said that Shou experienced the explosion at the start if the game, and before that he met Souryuu). I think that's all about I could say for Kururi's route, and for next route since Suzuno's route would be still locked I had no choice but starting Yui's route. PS - For trivia, Kururi's seiyuu was Chatani Yasura aka Nagata Kayo, who her roles were Nekoko from Yume Miru Kusuri, Shinomiya Yoruko from Comyu, Mutsuki Aoi from I/O, and Ultinia from Bunny Black 2.
  24. Yes, it is. Although I said poison, all other status actually was quite useful if only for some certain mechanic there ie I'd using poison status at Himegari to do some stat grinding. As for your riddle, well sorry couldn't guess that right now.
  25. If you talk about Pulltop, they had Moenovel and partnership with JAST in the past. Moenovel release was Konosora (If My Heart Had Wings was mouthful, so I'd just called Konosora) and JAST release Princess Waltz. As for now, both of them was quite inactive looking from their recent activities. Therefore, I think the chance of this VN having translation was quite low for now. Oh, and I think this VN had good graphic and nice opening songs there looking from first glance, also good average score at VNDB as well. That's all for now.
