  1. First of all my condolence to the late Raide in regard of his death.

As for my comment about July, I guess it's somehow we have exciting releases in odd numbered month while so far the exciting releases are happen in the even numbered month. Considering that there's no much interesting release in August so far (Other than IxShe Tell I mean), I wonder what we'll see in September later in regard of release. And while I know that we'll going to have Evenicle 2 demo at 17th later, it's still partial so it didn't count. Let me summarize what I think about July below.

I would say that I'm interested with both of aforementioned Evenicle 2 and Hypno (Or perhaps I should say Hollow), and I look forward to the latter Kickstarter. Also while I did comment on how Evenicle didn't really need sequel urgently, I still look forward to the eventual full translation of that. Speaking about gameplay VN, I know that Rhapsody here is not that polished in term of both of gameplay and story compared to the other Eushully VNs, but still more properly translated Eushully VNs is always good news (At lease I didn't need to see 'gomen' translated as 'noodle' like back at Soukoku (My experience using the MTL-ed narration patch)) and so good luck to the team in regard of Grasesta.

I can always say that Hoshimemo release is a redundant one, although at least HD graphic is nice to see I guess. That say, my interest in regard of Sekai announcements is obviously not Hoshimemo HD version, but instead it's in regard of both Harukuru release plan and Nine Episode 4. As for Harukuru release plan at 2020, let's see if Sekai can do it although I know that the chance they can do it is quite dubious. For Nine Episode 4, obviously the art here is the main draw seeing that it's Tsubasu and all. That said, apparently the story will be interesting so yeah I'll look forward to this. I understand if Sekai need some more time to translate this, because it's more longer compared to the prequels (They already have 30% of it being translated at least). About Rewrite+ delay, if they need some time no problem to me (It's just redundant release to me anyway, especially after I know that there's no much change in regard of the scripts).

To be honest, I'm not quite interested at Mangagamer's pseudo AX announcements. As for Macchiato, actually the heroines is just the real human who cosplay catgirls in the cafe. Although I understand though if you think the heroines as the catgirl, because after all I also think like that. No much comment about Juangshi x Daoshi that was translated by the late Conjueror, but at least the opening is quite catchy. About Tsui no Sora remake, I guess SCA-DI really need to make the remake of his Magnum Opus at 10 years each, although that said Subahibi as the 2009 of Tsui no Sora is still fine enough art wise so actually we didn't really need the remake. Although if SCA-DI want to elaborate more in regard of Elhimuro Precure in the new remake (Even though I doubt that he can do it), then go ahead.

Nice to see that Photonmelodies and Phantom Trigger Vol. 7 being released, even though I think both of those are only milking attempt of very well known VNs (Muv Luv and Grisaia respectively). For Steam conflict, well at least the problem is sort of resolved after turned out that the files is really have the problematic 18+ CG. That said, it could be quite a wake up call in that the company should absolutely make sure that the game files should be clean from 18+ CG before send the game to Valve to be reviewed. I know that Valve can use some less problematic way, although perhaps they thought that banned the game directly is more easier compared to sent some email to Mangagamer. I understand completely, because it mean that the writer of the email need to think on the content and how to be polite, while at the same time I'm sure that they have hundred if not thousands game to be reviewed and not to mention the reports to handle, so yeah Valve reviewer may in need of some letter writing along with time management training.

Lastly Flowers Autmn is nice release, and looks like JAST will release each volumes with two years interval. Of course I know that JAST need to announce Flowers Winter, but when they'll do it is still unknown (They'll probably do it at AX 2021). With this it mean that three quarter of the tetralogy was already available, and of course it's good news for Flowers fans.

I guess that's all for what I can write here.

  2. After some discussion at certain Discord server, I decided to complete this. So is that mean that I wouldn't think that Bokuten have soap opera plot anymore after I finished this later? Well perhaps I'll find out about that by myself later. As for my comment, like back at Deardrops I'll going to comment each routes along with usual VA info.

I guess they are having issues with Hello Lady yet again? They've been stuck on that for a while now, even the FD of that was done Translating if I remember right

As for Hello Lady, currently they at halfway in QA and that they still waiting for the engine to be finished working on by the developer. So yeah we must wait for Hello Lady release, although judging from the progress we may have it released at this year (Four months is more than enough to finish Hello Lady) if all goes well.

  4. Yeah we have Nekonyan announce the exact release date for this. As for me while granted I know that some reviewers didn't exactly have favorable opinion on this, I still look forward to the release of this. Also I'm quite surprised that Nekonyan decided to release this first seeing that I did guess they'll release Hello Lady, but more VN is always good so I have no problem with that. I'll add the heroines along with their VA info later, and of course the poll as well. Forget to say that the title is the pun of 'aishiteru' (TL Note: Aishiteru mean I love you).

The tweet from Nekonyan below for the proof, and yes we also already have Steam store available for this as well (The link to the Steam store).

Edited - As promised I'll add the VA info for the heroines below.

    1. Hanamori Shiori

    78315.jpg

The MC (Hajime) childhood friend in that she's quite devoted to him, in that she'll do anything for the sake of Hajime including helping him to abolished the romance ban rule. That said, she's quite anxious so much that she prefer to show her intend through action instead of words. Her VA is Nakajima Saki in that she's voiced Kouzaki Umi from Koiresort, Saotome Miharu from Miagete, Shigure Kanako from Konosora, Alexander from Eiyuu Senki, Sasamori Karin from To Heart 2, and Mochizuki Maho from Daitoshokan.

    2. Koshimizu Kasumi

    78314.jpg

She somehow know Hajime from the past, and she decided to transferred into his school in order to know him more. That said rather than she take the initiative, after she confess her feeling to Hajime she prefer if Hajime himself is the one who take an action to her. Her VA is Ozaki Mami in that her roles are Okihara Misa from Hoshiori, Aritagawa Nio from Loca Love, Amabane Madoka from Love Cube, Bors from Eiyuu Senki, Ginjou Haruko from Tsukiyori 2, and Okita Shino from Ouka Sabaki.

    3. Yuuki Ayaka

    78313.jpg

The winner of school beauty pageant for two years straight. Because of her personality in that she's quite bright and bombastic people did think of her as a playgirl, when in fact shes more or less quite innocent when it come to the romance in that she's hoping that the romance is like fairy tale. Her VA is Ui aka Oohashi Ayuru in that she also voiced Enomoto Kaho from Your Diary, Narutaki Maho from Sukiren, Sairenji Murasaki from Seven Days, Hotaru Rinne from Astral Air, Sakurakouji Luna from Tsukiyori, and Eurasia of End from Noraneko duology.

    4. Kozuka Yui

    78317.jpg

The youngest heroine in IxShe Tell who is also the student council president for the sister school. Despite being the youngest heroine, Yu also tried her best to act as an adult so much that she looks older than her age is, and she also didn't like that people judge her character based on the her appearance alone. Her VA is Suzuya Maya (I prefer her alias this time) who also voiced Nashiro Momiji from Ginharu, Liese von Archlond from Venus Blood Hypno/Hollow, Forunisgein from Kami no Rhapsody, Nanase Shizuku from Imopara 2, Seguchi Saya from Onikiss, and Spartan Clarke from Evenicle 2.

    5. Yamabuki Yoshino

    78316.jpg

The vice president of student council president (Forgot to mention that Hajime is the student council president) in that she's against Hajime revoke the romance ban rule. That said even with her political stand is against Hajime, slowly but surely she find herself to fall in love with Hajime. Out of all other heroines VA, Yoshino's VA here (Gotou Mai) here is have quite a number of well-known roles such as Narumi Toa from Wagahigh, Wakakusa Nanoha from Baldr Sky, Hayama Mizuki from ef, Angelica Rocca from Katahane, Takekawa Benio from Comyu, and Mukou Aoi from Kimikoi.

That's all for the heroines along with VA info, and I guess what I can suggest in regard of this VN would be just treat this as a moege (In the most normal sense, not in a sense like 'all VNs are moege' or 'hot blooded VN are moege').

  5. Playing Shoujo Dominance, and I like that the designer draw the main heroine like a strict office lady (Especially when she wear the glass) while in fact her setting is that she's just a cheerful high school student with some case of father complex (ie Electra Complex). It's not like I suspect the director planned to have usual wife husband nukige only to change the mind in the last minute to make the heroine as the daughter in order to follow their previous Amayakase and that the illustrator already draw the wife heroine, and once again I never suspect that it's the happening behind the VN at all (It must be only a coincidence that the MC said that the daughter really like his late wife, and yes that must be it). Other than the blood daughter heroine, nothing much happen until the ending when you either marry or live together without marriage which both of them did have some complication.

    Spoiler

Marriage - At least it's pretty much quite normal. Although normally people wouldn't have sex in the church when the female bride wearing the wedding gown though, but what do I know about father daughter marriage in nukige anyway.

Live together without marriage or something like that - Okay, that ending is definitely slightly abnormal. While I can accept if the mom have foursome with two twins daughters, having the daughter do the foursome with two granddaughters while three of them being pregnant is certainly would raise some question. And not to mention that the unborn babies would certainly end up as the wives of the MC (And how old the MC would be when the unborn daughters grew up anyway?).

My suggestion for Shoujo Dominance would be just wait for something more interesting when it come to nukige, such as Mugen Renkan, Yamizome, or Hypno. Or if you want to try something right now just play Haruka, Escalayer, Frontier, or Monster Girl Quest.

  6. Both Dal Segno and Umikana are available on Steam, and you didn't need to worry for the latter because it's all age in the first place. For both of Koiken Otome and Daitoshokan, unfortunately it's fantranslated and so it's not available on Steam. You can use Amazon JP or Mandrake to obtain it if you curious, so you need a bit more money to get those two.

  7. To answer the question whether this is already translated or not, then I'll say yes it's fully translated and it's including all of the images as well (The narration was already fully translated from back at January). Technically speaking there still an untranslated choice, but I only find it in the extra menu at scene viewer and it's just in regard of asking whether you want to back to the title or not. So if you want to play it, then go ahead and have fun.

  8. You certainly will be wrong if you expect Kara no Shoujo in Flowers, because it's already different if you see the color of the VNs (ie Kara no Shoujo is more dark while Flowers is bright). As for my opinion about the series, I guess I can say that it should be obvious that it's far lighter compared to Kara no Shoujo. Other than that, the art is nice, the soundtrack is calming with some recognizable tune from MANYO, and that Innocent Grey cast the VA from both of eroge veteran (Kawashima Rino anyone?) and anime famous VA (Especially Sakura Ayane) and of course because of the latter Flowers is all age VN. Also while a certain mystery (Mayuri's disappearance) is interesting to see, I'll just say that don't expect the mind blowing answer in the last VN (Flowers Winter) later. Lastly have fun with this VN, and I'm sure that you'll like it if you like GL story in the first place (Or didn't mind about it).

PS - I sure that JAST will release Flowers Winter in two years later (At 2022) and that they'll announce it at 2021 later, although it's only from looking their previous patterns though and it may be change if there're some unexpected occurrence.

  9. Good for Mangagamer then, although Valve can be nicer though when it came to warn the hidden 18+ contents. Then again, maybe they're swamped by a ton of game to review and thus too tired to write an e-mail about hidden contents to Mangagamer. I still think that Bokuten here have soap opera plot, but in any case at least I didn't need to worry about whether Musicus will be released on Steam or not later.

  10. No much difference I guess, but then again it's just a few scenes so perhaps there'll be more difference in the future (Besides the obvious difference in that Sekai version will have some new lines translated). I guess I'll look forward to the eventual release, although in the end it's still a redundant release anyway if we talk about Rewrite+ only.

PS - From VNDB, apparently it remove the route lock so you can play the route in any order that you want. And if sprite somehow want to remake Koichoco and ask Nekonyan to officially release it overseas, I think it would be the most useful feature in that the player can avoid to play Chisato's route first.

  11. Welcome to Fuwanovel, and let me assure you that no one will bite you as long as you've been responsible with your post here. If you need some VN recommendations, feel free to ask (I can suggest you to try Kami no Rhapsody here. Lastly, I hope that you'll have fun here.

the ui is just horrible. everything is just too big with info that couldve been condensed. and ill look into switching medals without goign to the shrine of the end

Like I say beforehand you can change the medal before entering any dungeon. Just chose any dungeon (Other than Shrine of the End obviously) and look out the button with the text 'Equip God Medal', and you'll be able to change the medal like in the Shrine of the End. Although if you want to change the medal in battle as well, unfortunately it won't happen so you better prepared or just save and load often. Hope it'll be help.

  13. As for the all age version, apparently there's still some 18+ CG left behind in the all age (ie Steam) version. Here's the post in question from Reddit, and I'll quote it below.

    Quote

Well, I can confirm that there is 18+ content left in the game files of the Steam version (I didn't install the 18+ patch so it's all ages version).

    Here's proof (NSFW obviously):

    link

    link

    link

    link

I'm gonna guess that's what got it banned.

Not all H-CGs were included. Only some were left in there while most got removed.

    EDIT:

Added another one. If anybody doesn't believe me, feel free to open "data02000.arc" using GARbro.

    EDIT 2:

Before anyone starts saying I'm defending Valve or anything. I'm not. I feel like they should have contacted MangaGamer and let them know there is 18+ content left in there instead of outright banning the game from Steam.

The screenshot if you need some more proof.

    Spoiler

    zLnKARj.png

I guess I can say that Valve did really check Bokuten thoroughly (Probably including using GARbro), so that they decided to give the ban. What I can say is that while I did comment that Bokuten's plot is like soap opera (Especially at Yuri's route), it's still not right to outright banned it. Although if I may give some more speculation, seeing the middle school girl uniform (Even though the middle schooler in question is as evil as soap opera villains) and rape surely give Valve some alarm to check on Bokuten, although whether it's caused by some troll who report on Bokuten or not is another matter (Some did speculate that the ban was caused by the report).

  14. If it's not broke, don't fix it. At least that's what I think in regard of Eushully UI. As for medals, you can change it before you're going to enter a dungeon so you didn't need to go back to the shrine, although I understand if you manage to miss that feature because it's not quite visible or you already think on going to the dungeon (Speaking from my experience).

  15. Did read both of QED and CMB, and both manga did have some detective works. While granted that the author here is not the most creative one when it come to the art, at least his cases are more than make up for it seeing that it contain some knowledge. As for what kind of cases that the casts will solve, you better find out by yourself but one thing for sure the trick is far more simple compared to Conan or even Kindaichi. The format is more like that each chapter will contain a standalone cases, which actually make sense for this type of manga as opposed to Conan which is more like have a hidden plot while in reality Gosho did aim Conan to have many standalone cases (Of course it become Conan's weakness in that some of the cases that have plot attached are quite not up to par with usual case, at least to me).

Forgot to mention that actually QED itself is quite popular in Japan, and I think Trails in the Sky character designer really like the design of Sou and Kana from there (Male and female protagonists respectively). Why I said that? Because Joshua and Estelle of Trails in the Sky did resembled Sou and Kana very much, which should be quite obvious for Japanese (I don't know if some overseas people did realize that though, seeing that QED is less popular overseas).
