empress´s closed game is pretty much the embodiment of a failed attempt in creating something thats thrilling & visually stunning, all whilst being somewhat meaningful plotwise - basically saying: one came for the supposed to be chills & stayed for its unintentional comedy aka a bland space parody that totally wasnt meant becoming one... =/ edit. closed games core theme is pretty much the very same as the one from starless, but lost all of its credibility due to the abstract setting, btw a non believable cast...

do yourself a huge favour & start reading ELF´s Be-Yond. despite being abit aged by now it´s still looking pretty cool visual-wise & does consist of a very likeable cast, an intriguing story plus amassive amount of not so everyday-ish humour, which makes it ablast reading through.

abit in a hurry so i´m just throwing kana imouto & crescendo into the ring without much information, only that both of them having been pretty good reads to me. have fun & enjoy!

it´s pretty much all about the last statement of theirs, the faint glimmer of hope of them consider doing additional works after this campaigns possible success, which might be the key-factor in getting people to actually back said project like there´ll no tomorrow, abit similar to what has happened before regarding degica aka 5pb aka mages in disguise. edit. this still wont justify the enourmous gap of 100k between the main game & its houzuki chapter, or their stance on turning the whole thing into a moneymonger-ish dlc fest =/

seems quality works DO pay off in the end though. congrats & definitely looking forward to whats possibly next to come (a man can dream). to me OTL biggest plus is that it doesnt feel linguistically like its been written by some semi-nerdy 12year old, but rather with some real thoughts & skills behind.

excluding mindless crap & stuff made for entertainment only, there´re still awhole lot of stories left, which i do take at face value, or in whose message i truly believe. works like mugen kairou etc have undoubtably changed the way i am edit. even some semi-nukige like starless are at their core nothing but todays reality in a nutshell.
