voted for itsusora, because i´d seriously love seeing how anyone could manage transmutating shumon´s way of telling stories into comprehensable english, WITHOUT killing off its essence, or turning its presentation into nvl mode technical-wise so everything fits the screen. anyway this is going to be a pretty horrendeous task if someone non so sane might decide on doing said title, despite its overall greatness, especially when trying to transmit the feelings of dying btw. goes into detail what happens when after what and how, like in an almost pathological way btw brutally calculative. great stuff indeed, so lets hope for a miracle. basically saying this undertaking is doomed from the get go, if non spending awhole lot of ressources on hiring only the best ones staff-wise, very well versed in both english & japanese to ensure the task is properly taken care of, yeah as if that´d happen anytime soon & even if... :/

personally i found its visuals to be quite fitting the rather dark & fairly depressing plot due to their contradictionary nature which further emphasizes the pretty melancholic read, especially in those parts which are nothing but surreal at best, somehow reminding me at the ones from kusarihime. anyway back to topic, though there are few stories which are thematizing similar issues like cross channel, yume miru etc, of which the western scene is quite fond of, i simply cant see them all going full kyun over a story of totally broken/addicted people only, when there isnt a huge hmm lets call it entertainment factor. admitted if one totally shuts down oneselfs mind whilst reading said novel than its going to be a fun ride, but yeah, to most people or rather for those with a functionable limbic system it will be more of a educational read. edit: from an economical point of view i cant see mg (or whoever) decide on churning out one niche & therefore less profitable tiltle after another, as sad as that may sound. edit2: i´m weird so dont follow my logic. much appreciated

cant see fairytale requiem going strong, mostly because content like its seemingly got less & less popular over the last years. the overall fluffy appearance has pretty much zero to do with whats going on at all. also the point of non so many people in the west having already read said story wont help much either, so yeah thats that. but can be very much wrong, especially if those are voting, who determine a novels worth based on its visuals only... edit: voted for cross channel, simply because i found it to be the only one out of those truly deserving an (proper) english translation at all.

@Rooke especially because its from the creator of spice & wolf it deserves a better treatment than that. the first one suffered from a non optimal translation paired with partly unnatural wordings & its second one was blessed by countless typos plus an english i dont want to read in a work of literature other than in magazines etc. both ones appear pretty unpolished & raw, nothing i´would like my customers to read for non risking their reading experience to be foiled (not everone re-reads stuff so their pretty much stuck in the fuck by time the re-translation etc will be done & even then, the first read is the most important one) this is not only about sekai, but in general, if i buy something i expect it to be done in the best way possible and wont accept some halfbaked stuff. "we´ve been already past our estimated schedule" is nothing that works on me, getting it even later to read wont piss me off as much as some rushed crap for whatever reason it may have happened

to me wee1-2 are pretty much failed projects at this point, simply because their customers (or so i hope) expectations have been betrayed quality-wise aka their first read of the story as awhole wasnt as great as it could have been by putting more effords into living up to their expectations. like seriously those 3 medium/short sized novels, noone really heard of before, had quite a lot of backing, so yeah thats that. to me releasing stuff, of whichs overall quality oneself isnt convinced to the fullest, is and should be always a no-no, be it out of respect towards the buyership or whomever.

wee2´s overall quality, or to be more precise the lack of anything that comes near such terminus, is something that still angers me to a darn great extend, simply because those fellows have spend almost 1year on a novel which is much shorter than its precedessor and yet managed to screw up big time, with all those legions of typos roaming around plus an english that reads stiff/lifeless at best. possible retranslation of the triology and whatsnot aside, this is by no fucking means something which should be offered to people actually paying for it, especially after it took them so freaking long finishing it up. basically saying i dont fucking about it getting improved future-wise, when the reality is me having backed/payed for a product thats been offered to i in a non satisfying quality aka my first read/playthrough got already ruined... lets all keep on pretending those "editors" were professionals and for them proofreaders non beeing distracted by fapping to a bunch of catgirls :/ edit: the size of a game, or its popularity is and should by no fucking means be a reason of priorizing one over another, especially after it got kickstarted. by doing so you do also priorize its customers, which is pretty much the very worst/aweful thing to happen.

yabai! & ilkenie2 should please your needs in terms of everyone dying, literary value aside & yo they´re are both nukige-tier. edit: other than those.... would spontaniously suggest you going for oujo no abaddon, which is a pretty darn great novel, way more complex than it appears at first sight, though its content might not be stomagable for everyone. edit2: kusarihime is also another possible candidate for glory, as the euthanasia in its name isnt there only for show ergo may the red snow be your guidance

making a nukige or its derivates is by no means an easy undertaking. trust me if i say so, but after reading or supposed to were enjoying whats considered a hellish legion of porn (from kosai to ryona) , i found only around 50!!! beeing of supreme quality. theres a huge difference between meaningless ero content added one after another or those consisting primary of erotic writing (yes you faggots, thats indeed considered literature) paired with aestetic visuals that stimulate both, mind and body, at the same time.

should be noted that the partial one is by no means fully functional/ polished/ edited, as its still quite possible to encounter various bugs etc & has been only íntended to help sort out those before its full pendant getting released. nevertheless have fun

baldr force is good, yes, even that good of a game so i personally came to prefer it over sky/dive. & a novels date of release has absolutely nothing to do with the quality of its writing or suchalike. great things simply stay great. period. edit: daiakuji, kusarihime, genrin2, mindeadblood or others are partly of the same age or even older & still an awesome read regardless edit2: upon judging a visuals worth based on todays standards only, makes you nothing but a superficial member of the aesthetic gestapo, ergo something to be pretty much ashamed about :/
