So I could take a picture of my collection, but that would require me to find all of my stuff...find a place to put it and not damage it so that it will be presentable...then I have to put it all back after I spend anywhere from 1 to 5 hours studying it closely... And I have a potato 3DS that is currently dead as hell, and I can't find the charging cable. WOE IS ME. Can I link the CDs I made instead? I spent a LOT of time recording these. Can I be as lazy and not provide an answer? Kidding. 1) Try redownloading the torrent, turn off read only. That might actually screw with the files. 2) Have you tried running the game in compatibility mode with an earlier version of Windows? (I assume you're running Windows). Obviously, "Are you in Japanese Locale," "Are you using Applocale instead of actually being in Japanese Locale," and "Did your Antivirus block files," are all standard questions.

I assume you've looked at the walkthrough for this game? I doubt this is a technical-related problem. If it is, it would be related to your save files.

Downloaded a fresh copy from Fuwa. Unzipped it to generic program files location. No issue. Unzipped it to desktop. No issues. Created a save in the game. Closed the game down entirely. Reopened the game. Loaded the save file. Game magically loaded the save. Game works fine. Something on their end is set up incorrectly. EDIT:

I'm praying that they actually unzipped the folder. Please tell me they did that much. I see a Winrar folder and the first thing I think is "oh god don't run it from that". If unzipping the Fuwa Prepatched to their desktop and running the proper exe inside doesn't work, then it's literally going down the list of common issues of "check locale," "don't use AppLocale," "run as admin," "read only," etc. I've had this one working on Windows Vista, 7, and 8, so I know there's no problems with it. Save issues + Zipped files = bad, especially if they're set to not overwrite/add data. EDIT: Downloading a fresh copy for testing purposes. Will be done very shortly.

I cleaned up the desktop since the Judgement, because this didn't allow me much space. So most of the shortcuts I've moved to "Desktop Stuff". I adore this picture.

I'm not even sure if Hadaka is compatible 8.1. Have you tried running it with Program Compatibility and using something like Windows 7? Also, obvious checks to make sure you're actually running in Japanese locale (not using Applocale, blahblah). Not a font issue, since you're able to see the Japanese running that version. Push comes to shove, download the Fuwanovel version, make sure the folder isn't set to read only, and try running _en as Admin. I'm downloading a copy to my 8.1 laptop right now to test this theory.

I'll wait for the general reviews, and see if the fuss is worth the money.
