The OriginalRun and Solidbatman Feedback Thread
Ryechu replied to OriginalRen's topic in The Coliseum of Chatter
At least Bats has an avatar. Coinflip dictates he gets my vote, so I had to come up with a reason. -
Assume that if it's even close to any sort of romance, it was cut. (That means "No, it's not supposed to be like that.")

https://forums.fuwanovel.net/index.php?/topic/1461-kono-oozora-h-scenes-porting-project/ Patch is a bit buggy with the Steam version currently. Check that post for more information. You'll have to find the actual posts yourself, but they're toward the end.

I would like to suggest that you read the Phoenix Wright series. SURELY YOU HAVE NOT READ THAT?! This one is good, especially if you like incest themes. All of the vocaloid stuff is really cute. Non-H, each one takes a couple hours maximum. I'm also going to shamelessly plug the Sukisho! series, but it's BL .

VN Characters You Felt That Needed a Route
Ryechu replied to atchikotchi's topic in Visual Novel Talk
Aya from Yume Miru Kusuri. That game needed an incest route, just to throw EVERYBODY off. Also, a bad end with Hirofumi getting his way would have been absolutely hilarious. -
Confession: Everytime I see Tiag's Edgeworth avatars, I keep reminding myself that this isn't my fanfiction and he actually isn't dead. Also, I secretly would love to steal Nohman's cookies.

I like to watch dubbed hentai, only because it's the same like four voices. I'd kill to have that gig. "Hey, we have a new hentai we're dubbing. You're up." /end sarcasm

My passion is the piano. If I'm not sleeping, working, playing visual novels, or any combination of those (I love my job ), I'm typically at my piano. Lately I've been playing a lot of Video Game music (I'm currently playing through the Piano Collections from Final Fantasy VII - XIII-2), but I also go on Classical binges, my most recent being trying to learn https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nGz5fifRB3s. I did a Katawa Shoujo medley last year for piano. There's also a bonus, unrelated song on there. There's a history behind the piano that revolved around a person, so I'm honestly not sure which I'm more connected to - my memories of that person, or the instrument itself. Regardless, I'm furthering my studies of it at University. Maybe one day, when I can play my feelings...

I picked up The Secret Sorrow of the Siblings from MG, so I'm in the process of playing it now. Appetite does some interesting stuff, so if this one ends up being good, I may consider looking at the rest of them.

What's the avatar above you thinking?
Ryechu replied to Snowtsuku's topic in The Coliseum of Chatter
"Sorry, Onii-sama, but you can't have her! She's MINE!" "B-b-b-b-b-b-b-baka!" -
While I won't comment on obtaining CD keys for official Mangagamer releases, I can tell you that the patch is definitely worth picking up. There were a good number of bugs. Google is your friend otherwise.

I typically read a nukige or two between larger pieces, just for that feeling of "Ah, now I can relax and play a game with an actual story." It helps clear my mind and prepare myself to jump into a new story. Just my mind, you perverts. There are a few nukige out there I've genuinely enjoyed (the Sono Hanabira stuff is well done, X-Change is a fetish interest of mine, and Bible Black was good), but truthfully they are few and far between. If they have good art, and there aren't a billion grammatical errors (I'm looking at you, Mangagamer), I'll take the couple of hours to play it.

Has your technology but well worth your purchase?
Ryechu replied to crunchytaco's topic in General Discussion
Before I lived in my current studio apartment, I lived in a two bed, two bath apartment and I left all but two rooms completely empty. Originally I was going to rent it with a friend, but he backed out at the last second, and I didn't have any other options. When the landlord came by, he asked me why I did that. I didn't own enough stuff to justify putting anything into those rooms. Less than a month later he helped me move to a studio apartment across town, where the rent was a quarter of what I was paying, and ended up being much closer to where I work. I own a bed, a chest of drawers, an upright piano (my pride and joy) and my desk that doubles as my bookshelf, TV stand, kitchen table, and periodically something to play mahjong on. I tend to keep my computer relatively up to date, since I use it for virtually everything, but I can't say the same for everything else. Also, I don't have a social life. Save for the acquaintance that screwed me over, I rarely talk to people outside of the internet. Never been to a bar, though I drink at home when the mood strikes me. -
Much confessions: While I tend to be very helpful and constructive in my responses when people ask for help in the Voluntary Help forum, I actually cannot stand people who cannot follow instructions that are located very close, if not attached to, the thing they are doing. Don't care about the excuse, regardless of how legitimate it may be. Also, I'm bisexual, and my VN interests are very wide because of that. Third confession, when I did corn's survey, I described my "ideal panties" as "lack of them". EDIT: I've considered changing my forum avatar to a "Here, Let me Google that For You" icon.

Ryechu is an intentional misspelling of my favorite Pokemon, Raichu.

Running the game while still seeding can cause a lot of problems. Don't seed the torrent while playing. If you want to, make a copy of the folder and put it elsewhere and play from it. Also, right-click the folder the game is located in, click Properties, and make sure on the window that pops up that the files are not marked as read-only. Might also be a corrupt savefile that was accidentally downloaded. Deleting the savedata folder will force the game to create a new one, which should fix it. Run the game as admin, as well. All of that and you should be fine.

Just joined and I don't know what to download first
Ryechu replied to Preytor's topic in Recommendations
Probably the best way to start is to know two things. 1) Visual Novel Database - Every VN has tags. If those tags are interesting to you, you'll very likely enjoy the VN. 2) Kaguya's list of "50 VNs You Should Read Before You Die". That. -
[Fuwanovel] Cannonball ~Neko Neko Machine Mou Race~

You failed to provide information, so we'll go through everything. You do have a torrent client, correct? Something like uTorrent or Bittorrent. In order to download from Fuwanovel, you'll need a torrent client. Can't download a torrent without a torrent client. Are you on a Network that could potentially block things like torrents? School, Work, Stolen WiFi, etc? They could very likely have it blocked on their end, meaning you're not going to get anywhere. Sometimes the website is down. It happens. They're trying to fix it. It hasn't happened yet. It will. I imagine you've never seen this page, even though it's in the same forum as you are posting in. Main Site Down? VN List Here!. That has all of the torrents Fuwanovel hosts, including the one you are seeking - feel free to check it. Are you using an updated version of your browser? Keep it up to date. Very unlikely the reason behind this issue, but you never know. If the issue is one lasting "months," have you scanned your computer for viruses/malware/etc? Those types of things can frequently cripple attempts to download...anything. Start there. If you want more specific help, you're going to have to provide more specific information.

I found that the best answer to the Math was question was "Math." I hope that is acceptable.

The Cho Dengeki Stryker walkthrough is finished. But since I can't verify some of the choice sets since I have the "Completed the Game" flag, I cannot say for 100% sure that this walkthrough is perfect. As far as I'm aware it's good, though.

Looks like you're not in Japanese Locale.

I have a soft spot for moogles. Montblanc is definitely my favorite. He was on my roster for nearly every encounter in Final Fantasy Tactics Advanced, and when I spotted him in FFXII I about died. Moogle is the master race. Kupo!

I've done a giveaway on here before, so I figured it was about time for another one. One of the perks of purchasing games directly from Mangagamer's website is that you can typically get a Steam Code for the All-Ages version, if one is available. At the moment you have to send an e-mail for it, but they're working on getting it automated. If you've purchased a game, always send their support staff an e-mail and ask if there is a Steam Code that could go with the game. I happen to have one of those codes from the copy of Cho Dengeki Stryker I purchased a while back. I have no use for it, so, I think I should share the love! So what do you have to do to enter? (Please read the whole entry, as anybody is eligible to win!) I'm not particularly a fan of owning digital copies of games - I much prefer to own the physical edition. It's an entirely different feeling to be able to hold onto the box and know that this copy is yours. I'm curious to know how many people agree or disagree with that sentiment. If you own a physical copy of any Visual Novel, especially if it's one of your favorites, take a picture of the box, or show off everything inside of it. Somewhere in the picture, you need to have your Fuwanovel name written on a piece of paper, legible, included with the stuff. That way I know you didn't just go to Google and sneak some random stock photo... If you don't own any physical copies of Visual Novels, how about any other video game? Especially games that are more than just a disc and a case. Same story - take a picture, have your Fuwanovel name written on a piece of paper in the picture as well. If you don't own physical copies of anything, or don't own a camera, then you're going to have to exercise your paint and/or photoshop skills and draw me a game cover of your favorite Visual Novel. It doesn't have to be amazing (I can't draw to save my life, don't worry). Obviously make sure your Fuwanovel name is somewhere on it as well. Along with your picture - just tell me why you decided to buy the title you took a picture of, or if it was a gift, tell me why you liked it! Just a short blurb is fine, unless you want to write a novel about it - I'll happily read it. I’ll let this run until December 1. On that day, I’ll use a random number generator and pick a winner based on the post number. One entry per person. Multiple posts will result in disqualification. If you have questions, PM me! Good luck! The disclaimers from the suits are in the spoiler.
