Character Voting List for a Fuwanovel Game Reveal
Zakamutt replied to OriginalRen's topic in General Discussion
Hmm, you could indeed include Kags as well, and batman's p. cool. -
Ever17's [true] ED is pretty bad, though And yeah I'd say Ever17 OP > R11 OP, but none of them are mind-breakingly awesome lol. R11's ED is pretty good though. Note: audio mostly.

Which Visual Novels Would You Like To See Get Translated?
Zakamutt replied to Kimanor's topic in Visual Novel Talk
Ever17's script was rewritten to the point that you should apparently read the original first in the xbox 360 version, not sure if that's the one that went on the PSV. Also the 360 music is much worse -
There's no "I liked it but I wouldn't want it on non-April-Fools'" option / 10

How Global is Fuwa (What country do you actually reside in?)
Zakamutt replied to Zalor's topic in Members' Lounge
To be honest, I find the word gender thing a bit overblown, depending on how the language works. In Swedish you'll sound silly, but you'll still be understood fine if you use conjugations belonging to the wrong gender. Granted, In Japanese the entire meaning will change if you miss the verb type (ru vs u) and conjugate it w/ that (for example, "cut" and "to wear/put on [clothes]" are both "kiru", but they are of different verb types. Want to use the polite forms? One now has the masu-stem ki, and the other kiri. G_G (that said Fapanese grammar is pretty regular in general, what trips you up is more how sentences are built up)). Kanji does make this easier, but you won't have that luxury if you're actually speaking lol. Swedish is apparently v. close to English in general, but considering all the subtitled TV shows etc there's a lot of immersion factor as well. Probably the main issue for us would be the th- sound, but really you can train yourself to make new sounds fairly quickly I find. Our r is also closer to the Fapanese r (though we have an r-l split, best of both worlds!). We're only like 8mil people though so there's not much point in learning Swedish, people get English anyway too w Also nose, aren't you supposed to split the topic now? -

What's the difference between anki and memrise? I used anki for a while and it's fairly... addictive once you start a session to me. Then again I also get lost in eight-hour tvtropes (do NOT visit) binges.

I don't really think I can say it well enough here. Also, too lazy, I just wrote that thing up there man.

I'll just pop a link to this in here (Tay's a bit down atm so he was basically too tired to post). I'm kinda lazy to so... just read the post, mkay? I'm sorry about the sneak peak thing. I have no idea how it happened, maybe it's because Aksys used "sneak peak" for its TTGH preview video http://blog.fuwanovel.net/2015/04/sneak-peak-fuwanovels-greatest-project/

It's possible to restore the registry entries of some VNs with Computer Knowledge. There are also various other issues you can run into like not having fonts installed.

How Global is Fuwa (What country do you actually reside in?)
Zakamutt replied to Zalor's topic in Members' Lounge
Well, the fuwablog got 28 visits from NZ this month. Unless they were all you, there's someone else. (Canada: 224; Sweden: 547) w -
Yeah, that's not that uncommon (well, in anime and manga. Don't expect real life to match up.) What is rong is watashi, ore or jibun being third-person pronouns lol. [own name] would be 3rd person (and somewhat childish) tho.
-
Uhh, who taught you this exactly because I don't think those work in the way they think they do

Sweden, though it's up there with the languages easiest to learn for someone with English as their first (presumably the reverse is implied), and people tend to know English in general (not to my degree, though). Seen more swedes around, apart from Emi too -
DCIII is ~4mb

Well, depressing / at least drama stuff tends to be a thing in most... things. Da Capo 1 or 2 (apparently 2 is much better) might be decent and fluffy I guess. If you can enjoy a lot of lesbian sex sonohana 1 and 2 are pretty much diabetes-inducing, lol. If you like getting physically abused by 3 to 4 tsundere then Ikikoi could be quite nice as well iirc (the drama in onigase's route is so retarded you can laugh at it instead, probably).

Well yeah, apparently it's 3mb of text in total.
