  1. I should be able to get my part done before the end of the weekend.
  2. Tay, you need to go and repost this over at the Dreamviews forums - they would love to read it. Anyhu, I consider VNs to ge closer to books then games on the "novel - video game"-spectrum, because of of the reason that you read them. Video games, (at least the vast majority) you play for the gameplay and the interactive elements, while visual novels you read for the plot and characters. Video games can of course have great storys but most of the time that is not why you are playing them.
  3. Hey everyone. So lately I've been trying to read Ever17 and before that I finished Rewrite, and it's just getting really tiring to go through these titanic 50h+ beasts, so I just wanted to ask if you have any tips on some shorter visual novels I can try out. By shorter I mean any game that's around 10-30h, or is structured in a manner that you can choose to only read one or two routes before quitting, and you're not forced to read the whole novel to fully understand it. Also, I would prefer it if the novel got straight to the point and doesn't spend 10h lulzing around meaningless comedy stuff, like Rewrite did. -_- So... do you have anything?
  4. I have a loooooooooong way to go on my visual novel journey....
  5. Welcome to we-eat-all-newcomers-alive-clu-- I mean fuwanovel. Hope we-- I mean you will enjoy your stay.
  6. I don't really know of any easy-to-read visual novels, but I would suggest that you also try to read some mangas in english. I'm currently studying chinese myself, and I find that reading them is a really great way of practicing the language. Most mangas can be found somewhere on the internet in english. By the way, welcome to Fuwanovel.
  7. Hey everyone. Long story short; I finished G senjou no maou like half an hour ago and I'm experiencing the WORST. VOID. EVER. I just need some suggestions on some similar visual novel(s) to get my mind off that piece of amazingness. So... do you know of anything?
  8. Hm..... probably Akane from Rewrite, though Kotarou would be a close second.
  9. Thanks for the info everyone. Just one thing; has the EX/Perfect/MEM edition been translated into english yet, or is the patch only available for the normal version? And yes Steve - I do prefer my visual novels in all ages mode. Call me insane.
  10. So I was reading a bit about the two versions of Little Busters and noticed that the description of the EX edition said it had 9 routes, and opposed to normal version's 6. Does the EX edition flat out contain more content outside of the h-scenes? (which I would prefer to be able to avoid if I could )
  11. Rewrite - Akane. Lucia's route is also a close second.
  12. So I found this the other day; That got me thinking - do you know of any other websites / youtube channels / whatevers with more great visual novel remixes or rearrangements?
  13. Oh... Well, I guess I should have made my research better. I changed the title of the video. Thanks for pointing that out.
  14. Well, this is a bit of a thread Necrosis (please don't ban me moderators! ) I recently made a video review of InvertMouse's Unhack and he asked me to share it with the rest of you, so please enjoy (I hope). Any feedback that you can give me on the video itself will be more the appreciated since I need all the criticism I can get to improve at this "video-making-thing".
  15. *Reads all of the above* Somehow I'm kid of happy all of that... stuff flew over my head when I played the game... I mean geeze, the more I hear people talk about Rewrite, the more it feels like it's up there with Evangelion.
  16. Hey Rachshen. Thanks for your feedback. I went back and forth between the different tracks of the game and personally I felt that the atmosphere between them was fairly similar. Maybe that was just me, I dunno. I'm going to have to give it some time and then go back to judge which one "feels" better. But either way, thanks again for taking time with this thing.
  17. Big thanks for your feedback Kendjin! You gave me a bit to think about with the about narrating text and since I actually did that intentionally. Not sure if it was a very good idea, so I don't think I'm doing that again. Also I'm quite happy that you liked the tone and pacing of my speaking since that's what I'm having the most problem with.
  18. Yeah, just a quick summary was more or less what I was aiming for, rather than a deeper analysis. But I don't quite understand what it was that you wanted me to fix. Just the name or where to download it from?
  19. ...aaaand I really need some feedback on it. Somehow it turned into one of the most embarrassingly pretentious things I've ever made, so I can't really tell myself if it's good or not. So... what do you think? It is currently set as unlisted, so are there any changes I need to make before I upload the final version to Youtube? (Or should I simply bury it under a mountain and forget I ever made it...?)
  20. Do you really want to see... anything... of the Fate/Stay Night h-scenes? Those were beyond atrocious (and that has nothing to do with the translation)
  21. I've not played this Shikkoku no Sharnoth, so I can't really say, but I do know that there are a lot of visual novels out there that don't have any choices throughout the story. You might have found one of them.
  22. It does not matter a whole too much, but I would suggest that you play Chihaya's route after Kotori's and Shizuru's route after Chihaya's, otherwise a few things in those two won't make a lot of sense
  23. When do they explain the enduing of Kotori's route? I played all of Rewrite (although not Harvest festa), and I never found any clear answers to what happens at the end of it. Also, thing is something that's I've been wondering about aswell for a while about the ending of Terra, and I guess this is as good of a time as any to bring it up
  24. Haha, that was a nice laugh
  25. Uhhhhhhhh..... nice... to meet you....?
