  1. I disagree. Debating this type of thing is pretty fun, so the point is entertainment. Well, at least to me~ Now, Okami, most contraception methods to stop birth are flawed, so you'd be either forcing tons of people into abortion or go killing off people to make our population stable- either way, it's not something most people would agree to. Then again, this would only be a big problem if everyone in the world had a way to revive other people and that way was relatively cheap. Make it cost 1 million dollars for person and surely less people would be revived. Otherwise, people might as well go in a revival spree. You make your grandma go back to life, she does that to her mother, who does that to her mother and etc. Population would plannet in a way faster ratio than nii-chan suggests, I believe.
  2. I don't want to look like a grammar nazi, but you probably meant species. Species are "a group of living organisms consisting of similar individuals capable of exchanging genes or interbreeding". Spices, though, are this: Now, to your actual argument: yes, overpopulation, even for one species, can be a huge problem. Specially for human beings, who produce much more trash than other animals. You can find detailed info on that with a google search, so I won't bother posting. Just as an off comment, morals are ultimately silly.
  3. A pleasant surprise~
  4. I posted about this in the pm before. Didn't think it would get a topic. The worst of them is this one, though. One does not simply slam Emiya. And since you're into persona...
  5. Oh, yes, I am. They'll have their choice of "master", "senpai" or other titles they get to call me. Hopefully it'll be at least two, 3 would be perfect~
  6. I'm omniscient, after all~
  7. Not a fan of pewdiepie.
  8. Nope, I don't speak french, if that's what you're asking.
  9. I'm fine with tracing in general. Seems pretty effective. I can see why the original author would be displeased, though. I don't think it's an unnusual practice, but your name will be covered in mud when people find out. Not like it directly hurts other people... But it is taking a shortcut that would get honest authors pissed. NGNL was kinda fun to read, even if not a masterpiece. Hopefully nothing too big will happen to the series.
  10. I don't. Can't be bothered to. I always just delete the torrent as soon as my download is over.
  11. Well, he wasn't planning on working alone- it's just that he got sick before he had the chance to push is ideas forward. You can't blame him for not adding another admin, though- it happened more than once already, and we know how it always ended up. It probably felt safer to him to go with only one admin until he could put his plans in motion, and we can't really blame someone for not forseeing medical problems in their future. How are these members getting rewarded? They're having more posts in their threads and/or are getting more likes, right? Because I don't remember any reward we've been giving out to threads on G&C. Well, if that's the case, it's about what the members want. We can't force them to post on forums they don't want to- Something simple and silly can have the same entertainment value as the most well-written review, or even more, to a lot of people. And we can't do anything about it. I don't even get why this second part is related to Tay's absense- even if he was here, the people who make most threads and post of them are our normal members. We can't really affect that. I will say (to Ren's post) that he's not outside the site because of physical or mental exhaustion, though. He's actually sick- The fact he even went to tell us that in the staff forum is very surprising to me, with that kind of condition, I wouldn't dream of getting near a computer, honestly.
  12. Once upon a time, a sad little fuwa resident was lost about the place of a specific thread. Then he pm'd me about it, and because of my guidance, the thread was made in the right forum. Based on a true story. Well, more like 30~ true stories. DO NOT STEAL OR I WILL SUE!
  13. Kind of on the fancy side, but why not try forest? http://vndb.org/v599 Well, check out my 50 VNs list if you want some recommendations~
  14. #PowerAbuse
  15. Oh, wow- this got a thread. I've said good luck already, but I forgot wether or not you got any congratulations from me... Well, congratulations, nii-chan? inb4 someone thinks I'm nosebleed~
  16. Swan Song might be good for you, amongst translated VNs (I definitely think it's better than Katawa shoujo for this type of thing), but it's not quite right either.
  17. This writer is infamous for killing off characters or leading them to despair pretty easily, though. He is the guy who said that: "I have nothing but contempt for the deceitful thing men call 'happiness', and find myself with no choice but to push my characters, whom I pour my heart and soul out to create, into the abyss of tragedy." after all. If they're alive, they're probably going to pass through hell- I really love Urobuchi's works~
  18. ...Wait, he's a villain? I thought for sure he'd become the protagonist now. Don't think he did anything villanious there too. Also, being rational when it comes to research or diplomacy is one thing, but doing that in the middle of a war is something completely different. I think that either you need Inaho-like protag powers or you'll be unable to think straight if you don't have any experience... Especially if you are a teenager.
  19. And yes I did steal it, I apologize, but it's a great meme. I can understand why he did that- he never hated the guy, and he was helped by him a while back. Sure, it's not logical to act like that... But Slaine is just a teenager with cloudy feelings who's not experienced to war. I'd be much more surprised if he was able to act calm and rationally at that situation. I just think everyone is being too harsh on him- then again, I think he's a very cute character and I just love the loyal dog type like him, so it's kind of how people think I'm too harsh on some heroines because I don't think they're cute and their incompetence makes me annoyed.
  20. I liked the series. I also felt like what Slaine did was totally fine... That level of taking revenge should be natural to anyone. There could be also a jealousy element to it. He did get to see a bit of their relationship too. More than anything, his face at the end was so cute~ My only problem with the ending is that it was too short. The whole thing could have had more detail. Specially if they didn't spend so much time with the robots... Though I guess it's only natural for mecha. Ah, you stole that meme from the group pm, nii-chan.
