Got about 1000 profile views today O.o First point I'd like to make is that if the change is too subtle, maybe it won't make any difference. Perhaps Teal, Persian or Pine Green? My love of blue has nothing to do with this, by the way. I already recieved pms asking about random things (like how to use winrar) when I was a member, and I can't say that the amount of pms from those kind of things that I recieve has really changed since I became a mod. It depends on wether there really is any sort of harm in changing mod colors to me, really. Yes, I think it brings some benefit but said benefits simply aren't worth risking any problem that may arise because of the change (besides making my profile view count go even higher. If anyone wants to read more sci-fi translated VNs, there's also stuff like Dysfunctional Systems and Soul Link (I'll grant you that the second is pretty meh, though). And perhaps one could call stuff like Inganock sci-fi, though I particularly wouldn't. WEE also has a few sci-fi elements, though I wouldn't say it's the game main focus. Well, great list, Clephas. It wasn't my intention to try and differentiate mods and members, I just don't like green . But that's a fair point, I wouldn't want the atmosphere to get worse because of a simple color difference. I'll give up on the idea, any potential to bring some sort of harm is not worth a color change.

Hm. Wouldn't exactly make the site more fun, but I noticed that the color to the name of moderators both on the forums and on their profiles is the same as the normal members, while admins are red. That's not a problem at all, but it would be a bit cool if we also had our own color, you know. For easier identification. Because the badges obviously aren't enough for blind people. And changing colors would totally help them to see that we are mods. #flawlesslogic. It's obviously not me wanting to get even moar personalized. Maybe blue or purple? Oh, I ask this thinking it's something that wouldn't take more than 10 seconds. If doing it would actually need more than a few mouse clicks, ignore it.

Basically my opinion is a mix of this. I hold the same view as Pabloc if you ask me to analyze the quality of both JAST and Mangagamer, but like sanathlig, I feel more interested in the content that JAST releases, since I'm basically done with all those ordinary moeges.

I can tell what I am pretty easily. And prepare for some punishment later, yukiru.

My main suggestions for you would be Katahane and Sharin no Kuni, seeing your VNDB list. Katahane may feel a bit too monotomous at the beginning, but it gets nice when they reach a certain point in the story. Sharin is very good.

The fan translation was good enough, I don't think it's really needed to wait. Then again, I don't know exactly which genre you're looking for, Sigheart. Depending on it, I could give a personal recommendation.

You should play Extra/Unlimited to get a grip on the personality of the characters and understand what's going on. That said, you can read muv luv alter before if you really want to, since they do explain what's going on there. I actually read a bit of Extra and dropped it before going to Alter, then I went back to Extra/Unlimited after I finished alter. I could understand everything in alter without problems or misconceptions before reading unlimited, but it would have been more enjoyable if I followed the right order. Depends on what you feel like doing. Playing the first muv luv is a huge pain, but it will pay off.

This is actually not that surprising, since you two really fit together. Life always has many trials. While I found my answer in isolating myself from other people and getting as close to the world as possible, relying on somebody else to give you strength and meaning is definitely a valid solution, if not an obvious happier conclusion than the path that I took. Keep in mind that you can never become one and what you think is different, so sometime you will enter in conflict. I believe you can surpass that conflict, though. If it were anyone besides you two, I would just ignore what I'm actually thinking about and would be too embarassed to make this cheesy post, just giving a normal "congratulations!". However, while we may not talk together all that much, I believe that I know you two a bit. You both show your feelings right away, are straight-forward, get hurt and happy easily. I don't think you're good at following roads set by others. As far as I know, you both had "normal" chances and options in life, yet you rejected them to forge your own road. I don't think people like you fit very well in society, honestly. Naomi's idealistic nature and Nayleen's honesty and straight-forwardness are both things that the bad parts of our world love to feed on. But I do believe that you both have the perserveranc to go through the road you're paving until the end, no matter what. I'm sure that there are many things waiting for you two in the future, despair, secrecy, pain and unfairness. If there's anything I learned from observing our world, though, is that there are also plenty of good things hidden- both in front of us and in the parts of nature that man hasn't corrupted yet. I live for knowledge and bettering myself- regardless of what's your meaning in life, I pray it grants you happiness- though I'm sure that I don't need to tell you that. Sorry for the cliche- but you should know that these are my most honest feelings. Again, we may not be talking all that much lately, but I consider both of you as precious friends.
