We would need someone to hack the PSP and that's that. It shouldn't be particularly hard to extract the patch files from the patch itself. Asking them for the files is nice and all, but if we're not able to contact them, I'm all up for doing this without asking permission for anyone. They should still be credited, obviously. I don't think there would be any issues there, though. About putting the text in their right place- that's a bit troublesome, but still should be fine. We reeeeally need more VNs for anything besides PCs. Thing is, I don't know anyone who could hack into the PSP nor do I have much ability with extracting files from a patch (you could ask REtrans for that, though). Yep, that's pretty much it. The global save may overwrite the fact that you've seen the scene once you put your saves back, but then you can just make a normal save at the start of the scene and load it to get full completion.

Don't worry, you'll be able to finish it just fine. FSN has a system where you can skip each and every scene you've already watched without having to wait (more VNs need that, actually) so it shouldn't take you more than 5 minutes to get to the scene you haven't viewed yet with that. You could always put your saves elsewhere, play until you get the scene, put your saves back again, play until you finish HF and then download a full save. It wouldn't be cheating, since you finished the whole game and all.

Honestly, I started watching the LB anime to see Kurugaya's kick combo on masato, and I left after they did that offscreen T_T That said, I never watch animes that have VNs. At best, they will be faithful to the VN and won't add to the experience of reading it, they'll just reproduce it to the best of their abilities- and succed at it (like Steins;Gate). At worst, they'll make you rage with all your soul.
