  1. I have hard time beating the game using anything other than swordmaster, knight or pirate. The ranged combat just feels kind of weak and you can't tank the boss with the weaker characters, which is a problem. I have yet to try the Force User. Snow is by far the most annoying terrain, I've died way too many times because I ran out energy and couldn't fight properly.
  2. Confession: I really hate exercising. I went orienteering with my dad today. Running around in forest felt awful (Forests are nice, running not so much) and I felt so sick afterwards that I almost threw up in car. But I kinda have to get myself to good condition before army, so I must continue torturing myself...
  3. My thoughts on "The Girl who Leapt Through Time" Story - 8/10 Characters - 9/10 Art - 7/10 Soundtrack - 7/10 Enjoyment - 9/10 Overall - 9/10
  4. Yamada-kun to Nananin no majo seems to be pretty good, it has the same air of silliness as the manga. And the way the voice actors change their voices after body swapping is so good, I could almost watch it just for that.
  5. Playing Muramasa on my way to grandparents reminded me how awesome music it has.
  6. I reached the arena and abysmal platformer skills are finally starting to fail me. I already had to swallow my pride and use potions on the Death fight. I'll probably still finish it, after lots of grinding and dying. It's still really fun, but man I am bad at these games.
  7. I've done some pretty masochist stuff in video games, but sounds just painful. Maybe we should start easy, like go with distance race. FUWA4LYF seems to be a pretty good seed.
  8. No love for this game? I had fun with it and beat the demon lord few times. Maybe we could do a some kind of race, choose a same world seed and see who can travel furthest.
  9. The first half is't that great, it feels kind of generic. But it's much better after that. The story gets more serious and the relationships between characters are more fleshed out.
  10. I just finished Eureka Seven and just woah... The last 10 episodes captivated me completely. I was constantly either grinning, shedding manly tears or going awww, sometimes all at the same time. It still bugs me that they don't explain some of the terminology they use. Now the problem is, that after such experience it's hard to start watching something else.
  11. That joke was so bad that you must face eternal punishment.
  12. I always listen to this album when I'm feeling down. All the amazing persona memories makes me feel better.
  13. The original opening is the best. Burn my dread and the weird animation fits persona so well. I remember being mind blown when I first saw it.
  14. I accidentally found this today. Apparently somebody did gender bending visual novel adaptation of Dark Souls. I managed to find the first part, it's playable and kinda fun, they even ripped the Angel Beats ED for the ending. But since nobody credits the sources on internet, I have no idea who did this project and if there's more of it.
  15. Aria of Sorrow is pretty fun, but I got stuck at a boss. Maybe I'll just farm some levels and get better armor. I like metroidvanias as long as the path you need to go is fairly clear, but it gets frustrating when you have to backtrack to a small area to unlock a other small area. Luckily Aria of Sorrow hasn't done that too much.
  16. I felt like reading something lighthearted, so I started Edelweiss Eiden Fantasia. I know I wanted something silly, but I wasn't expecting a talking dick,
  17. I can't sleep with my bunny because it would probably break, but I have a big seal and my dad's old bear hanging around on my bed. The seal is very comfy for sleeping, like mini hug pillow.
  18. I like to go without shields and using light weapons like spears and normal swords, sometimes with a little pyromancy to cheese the most annoying enemies. Toxic mist is super handy. Bosses became so much more satisfying and intense when you have to dodge everything. It doesn't work that well against enemy hordes, but it's still pretty fun. If only you could do cartwheels in DS2 like in the first one...
  19. Dark Souls 2 is awesome indeed, especially the DLC areas. Which kind of character are you playing? A mage, Fat rolling tank with a shield or manly man with only club and a loin cloth?
  20. I cleaned up my room a bit and came up on my old stuffed animals. I absolute loved them when I was kid, I remember sleeping with a huge pile of them. So I was wondering if people here had stuffed animals and do you have any good stories about them, or if you still have your favorite stuffed animal? Here's my most loved stuffed animal: Punni-pupu (Punni the Bunny) I petted him so much that the fabric almost wore off from some places, hence the jumpsuit.
  21. Monster Hunter games are awesome and crazy addictive. I played Freedom Unite on PSP close to 300 hours. I got my copy just before I got the swine flu back in the day, and spent a week in my bed playing Monster Hunter. I would probably play more monster hunter if it was on proper consoles. Even thought of using A.I in P3 makes me shiver. The end game bosses are difficult enough without random actions. Unless you grind and get best personas.
  22. I wouldn't say it's great, but it's not bad. For a full price release it's kind of lacking. The story is pretty interesting and it has bunch of great characters, but none of these are really fleshed out. Characters show up on their mission, and after that they just are with you. Episodic story progression makes it fun to play in burst, but it never goes deep enough and it lacks any meaningful conclusion. Still I had fun with it and it has some interesting ideas, like the emotion system for conversations. The battle system is pretty solid too. It really has all the ingredients to be a great game, but they are not used properly. It feels like they had great idea, but failed to fully realize it.
  23. I played through Tokyo Twilight Ghost Hunters and had a blast. Now I'll just finish the stuff I didn't get and try to do character specific endings. On my first play through I managed to get "worst" ending, I didn't improve relationship points enough. Now it's time get all the girls and maybe some guys. The game itself is kind of short and simple, but damn it is beautiful.
