  1. 1. Vita's library of good games consist of mostly JRPGs, so no worries 2. No, there's no region lock, import all the games you want 3. Yeah, Vita is mostly JRPG and indie game machine nowadays Vita is great system if you like JRPGs.
  2. The difference might be in that I played P3P, so using Yukari was reliable. I always used the main character as nuker. Power/Mind Charge + strongest attack I had was the most satisfying way to play.
  3. What month are you playing? But it's true that that the story gets really going after the Yakushima.
  4. I'm not sure what I'm supposed to feel about being 100% introverted. But otherwise it's pretty accurate for a internet test. I've always been secretly slightly emotional and dreamer, but I always hid behind the facade of serious and collected person.
  5. The second season of Knights of Sidonia is looking good. Some serious shit is going on and the mechas are still awesome. The character models still look kind of awkward from time to time. It also has the best girl of the whole season.
  6. Started playing Brandish: Dark Revenant. It's pretty great dungeon exploring game. I like how you need to advance patiently and carefully, it's good change of pace from the usual action games. It also has god-like music like every Falcom game.
  7. I would say good H-scene is something that fits in the ongoing story and is meaningful for character development. For the contents it's hard to say, different people like different stuff, but I feel like there should be something more than just pandering to certain preferences. Then again I don't use H-scenes to satisfy myself, so my interest is mostly in the story part. I wouldn't say H-scene is good because it fits my preferences, if it feels out of place I don't usually like it. Still many of the most enjoyable H-scenes I've read comes from Sengoku Rance, so I'm not so sure myself. Anyways, what I'm trying to say is enjoyable H-scene is not always good H-scene and good H-scene doesn't have to be enjoyable, if it fits the story.
  8. Confession: Today I decided to splurge a little, so I bought fried chicken for lunch. And now I feel awful, it was so greasy. I'm never gonna get anything fancy for lunch again. I was much better off eating some random leftovers from the fridge.
  9. I read Sachi's chapter in Sharin no Kuni, and started the third. I'm impressed how it manages to balance between the bizarre and super serious stuff. And vow, Morita's Onee-chan is kind of awesome and super uncomfortable character at the same time.
  10. Watching Eva again is not as bad as I initially thought. You start to notice certain things... And man does it play with your emotions.
  11. 9/10 Cute and the meshed look is nice
  12. Super Meat Boy and Fire Emblem are my choices.
  13. Welcome to Fuwa! As a fellow Finn I hope you enjoy your stay.
  14. This is why I mostly play JRPGs nowadays. The triple A games that come out look boring as hell, and they are never as good as the try to be. JRPGs are often just what they meant to be, and their trailers/previews don't lie to me. Also moe is infinitely better than gritty macho men. On the other hand I really like AA-games like Witcher, Dark Souls and Metro for example. They combine the best of both worlds, technical quality of AAA games and the soul of lovingly crafted game.
  15. Damn all these people with consoles in their childhood. I could only play on my dad's old Macintosh, so I could only play the random games my dad acquired from who knows where. I remember being kind of jealous of my friend who had GBA. I got my first own console, Nintendo DS when I was 10 and I played so much with it that the some of the buttons wore off.
  16. Jazz Jackrabbit 2 and... Masa Mainio
  17. I once swore myself to never satisfy my needs with a VN. But there hasn't been any need to enforce the rule, since I never felt doing it with VNs in the first place. It just feels wrong after getting immersed in the story and the characters. Nukige might be a different thing, but I've never played pure nukige, so I wouldn't know.
  18. I started reading Sharin no Kuni. The beginning was really bizarre, they just drop some weird stuff and characters on you. I got better pretty quickly though. One thing that annoys me is that the straight looking faces of the heroines are kind of awful. And they look so cute and nice while looking sideways...
  19. Glad too see you liked Sharnoth, now I feel good that I recommended it. I have same kind of problem. My sister is going to Japan this summer, but I can't really ask her to buy me eroge.
  20. Persona 1 and Persona 2 are almost different series compared to Persona 3 and 4. The first two games have only the basic ideas in common with latter ones, the stories are not tied. I suggest starting with 3 and 4. They are more story focused, and much easier to get into. I personally went from 3>4>2:IS>1.
  21. After all the Gintama talk I decided to give it a try. I previosly stayed away from it because of the ridiculous number of episodes, but after watching Eureka Seven I'm not as against long shows. I haven't watched enough to really say what I think about it, but it is pretty funny. And I almost could stay only to listen to Jun's, no I mean Gintoki's voice.
