If it's a .xp3 file then you can unpack and repack them with kirakira I believe. For the rest, you'll have to look it up specifically for the engine that VN uses.

This is a bit of a pain as I literally cannot legally watch most anime due to Crunchyroll etc. not having anything in my country. I highly doubt they'll be able to bring down nyaa though as that site is focused on piracy and thus, like TPB, probably has some sort of countermeasure against this. Not to mention that when a site gets shut down, it will be replaced soon after.

Either Steins;Gate or Majikoi, though all of those are amazing.

I'd say Grisaia would have to be pretty high up, and Steins;Gate though you may want to read Chaos;Head before that as it's setting is before S;G.

Has anyone tried playing VN's on the Windows 10 tech demo yet? It's probably going to have issues like Windows 8 as well but we can hope right?

One small issue with the shoutbox is that avatars don't work when you use the "archive" feature. Also maef for mod.

Voices make the experience better in my opinion but as my first VN was also KS which didn't have voices it doesn't really bother me that much. The important part about a VN is the story and the art, not the voice acting I can't even understand. It is indeed just a small minus if there's no voice acting.

Started Steins;Gate yesterday after finishing Majikoi. As you can probably tell by my avatar I really really like it so far. The story is intriguing and the art actually feels like 'art' which is fantastic. Gotta love time travel and scientific theories.

This isn't about removing H-scenes from VN's though, just about adding an option to skip them for audiences that dislike them.

The more options the merrier. This would perhaps be useful if you want to introduce underage people to great stories, like Grisaia or G-senjou, while not having them watch porn by accident. I'm certainly for it as you generally can't go wrong with more options and it's useful.

I've only watched the first episode of the anime and that started near the end of Momoyo's route. As for play order, you can choose really. It doesn't matter much.

Just finished the whole game, 100%. Absolutely fantastic story, great and consistent translation quality, good uncensor quality, just fantastic overall.
