  1. Fixed that for you.
  2. Confession: I'm always afraid of that, so... well... I guess I already covered the result.
  3. Confession: When reheating food, I usually heat it up too much and burn my tongue. Sometimes (like today) I even do this multiple times a day. I may have grown incapable of learning from pain.
  4. True. Just once, just for you. It's at the limit of my flexibility. Next person enjoys golf.
  5. Cthulhu is my bro. I'd never spell his name wrong because if I did I'd probably immediately go mad and start tearing out my own eyes or something. Next person doesn't have a fan in their bedroom.
  6. False, I don't eat Lucky Charms at all. They're terrible. Give me granola, or give me... well, asking for death might be a bit extreme. Umm. Give me granola, or give me pancakes? Next person wears polo shirts.
  7. Similar to what a couple others have said, the only thing that bothers me is a lingering feeling that terrible events are coming the way of girl B, if I pick girl A's route. And that feeling of guilt is worst when girl B just completely disappears once you land on girl A's route. This is why I like True routes so much - they typically resolve everybody's story in a satisfactory way. Even if there isn't a happy ending all around, that's cool, as long as everybody gets a clear resolution... one way or another. So there are two necessary conditions that, together, annoy me: the VN doesn't have any kind of True route, and the individual character routes basically abandon other characters, i.e. they just disappear off-screen. The latter is common, but not a given - some VNs are quite happy to keep all the characters around and settle everything up pretty reasonably, even on individual routes. When that happens, it's all good even if there's no true route. And regardless of that kind of annoyance, I'm very unlikely to put down a VN simply because of the above reasons. Like Decay, I would put down such a VN if I have no interest in the remaining characters, though.
  8. False, I'm good at focusing when I want/need to. Next person is an astronomy geek.
  9. Will my lack of motivation be my downfall, or will my abundant natural talent overcome it and see our team to victory? I'll stay tuned to find out.
  10. Never. How do you even forget that? Routine stuff like that just happens on its own unless I'm seriously thrown out of my rhythm. Next person never uses an umbrella.
  11. Good to know. I now kind of wish I'd done that before deleting Atelier Ayesha off my Vita to make room for more moe girls yesterday.
  12. I've been simultaneously reading and editing To Heart 2, first Tama-nee's route, now the twins'. Tama-nee, or Kosaka Tamaki (if you haven't been living in the script the past few weeks like I have...) was great. In my admittedly limited experience, I've only once seen a character comparable to her. Maybe you don't see such strong (in so many ways) women in VNs very often because male dominance is too much of a turn-on for most readers, but it's not a bad thing, being dominated every now and then . The only similar character that comes to mind, incidentally, is Kagome from Comyu, who makes for an understandably popular stand-out character. Tama-nee is very much cut from that same cloth. So if you're a Kagome fan, or in general a fan of an overpowered onee-sama (which, I promise, can be every bit as pleasant in a moege as it is in a chuunige), maybe give this one a try; I certainly enjoyed it. You should probably technically wait a bit longer for the final patch release, but since the current beta patch has my edits for this route, don't let me discourage you too much That said, the twins, man. The twins. Let me start by saying that I loathed the twins' route in KonoSora. It tried hard to ruin what was for me a very sweet game. It was everything I dislike in VNs - a pointless male fantasy with an unbelievable (in the worst possible way) plot, set amidst a bunch of (to me) quite believable, relatable stories. In sharp contrast, To Heart 2's twins' route is crushing my heart. I'm about 60% of the way through now (incidentally, having all the script files makes that really easy to estimate), even counting what appears to be an absurdly long H scene at the end which, I won't lie, I'm getting kind of excited about (until I realize I'm editing it, and then I'll probably start crying tears of blood). Compared to the only other twin route I've seen, despite extremely similar characters, the plotting is so much better and the conflicts are so much more believable that I am truly, thoroughly enjoying this. Yes, it's still a tropefest that's just going to culminate in a scene architected to appeal to a teenage male sex fantasy. I don't care. The journey there is pretty damn enjoyable, and at times it's nothing short of heartrending. Well, at the rate I'm going, we should have a patch for the twins' route available in just a few more weeks, so if that latter one piques your interest, hold tight a bit longer...
  13. Literally me. I ran out of space on my 16GB (I think) card yesterday and had to delete a cute grill or two. I blame you. I should buy a bigger memory card, but do they even support transferring stuff? Muh saves.
  14. I picked up Planetarian, Recettear, and Fault MS2:SA (even though I still haven't read MS1, which I feel terrible about). Amnesia and Hatoful Boyfriend are both still calling to me, though...
  15. Confession: I've just been asked to be the Best Man at a wedding in about a year, and I'm rather excited about the whole affair. Confession 2: I accidentally just discovered the Anime Bath Scene Wiki, which, contrary to its name, also catalogues "manga and other related material", including of course VNs. I only had to apply most of my willpower to keep myself from browsing it. Edit: Confession 3: I just got an email from my soon-to-be-employer asking me to digitally sign my offer contract's "start date addendum", which changes my start date from three days ago to three days from now. As I go to sign it with a dry chuckle, I reflect on the words of wisdom I recently heard: "Fuck you, pay me."
  16. From time to time. Next person reads in the bathtub.
  17. True, sometimes. I'm a big fan of Kandinsky. Though I find a lot of abstract artists boring. You can torch every single Mark Rothko painting, for all I care. Somewhat true. Frightened isn't quite the right word, but maybe nervous, jittery? I have to be suitably prepared for it. Once I'm intimate with someone, obviously it's fine, though. Next person should be studying.
  18. I was so annoyed with my name being taken on reddit when I tried to claim it a very, very long time ago that I have never registered a reddit user as a result. Seriously, who else in the world wants this name?
  19. Well, this won't be the last time someone tells me I'm not in their top 10 list.
  20. First time I've heard that said to be ungrammatical. I only know of one pattern of speech that uses it, and in that case there's usually an earlier place in the sentence to which you could move the "however" and the resulting sentence would be natural (perhaps more natural than the alternative). I don't have a problem with it, however.
  21. Sanderson's novella Perfect State was amazing, so like Clephas said, some legit nominees did get through.
  22. Apparently I have 690 hours spent in Destiny, across my three characters. And one or two more will be logged today
  23. False, I've been decent at swimming since I was really young and never been put in a situation where that wasn't enough. Next person believes in aliens.
  24. True. I'm actually pretty good at socializing after the initial ice-breaker, although I'm bad at taking that first step. Next person enjoys reading about mythology.
