  1. So, my family has gone on vacation and I am left to fend for myself and watch over the dogs. Thing is, I've never been home alone for more than a couple days, and even then I was starting to go crazy. I'm 18 but still don't have my drivers license, so I can't really go anywhere (not that i'd go anywhere anyways, antisocial for life ), and I always start to get paranoid when I'm home alone at night. Anyways, I have nothing better to do so I will make a diary of sorts detailing what goes on around here for the next ten days. It will probably be pretty boring, but I guess the tale of what goes through a paranoid teens head when left alone for a little over a week could be interesting. Anyways, stick around..or don't, as long as at least one person is enjoying it i'll keep it going. I'll be updating it every day, so if I don't..I'm probably sleeping dead. Welp, i'm going to sleep now, lets hope I don't get robbed
  2. Ah, I forgot to suggest Monster too, definitely one of the best in the genre. Though given it's popularity, you might have already seen it.
  3. Welcome To The NHK is sort of psychological, though it's more black comedy and drama than anything, still a good watch. Also Serial Experiments Lain.
  4. Good luck with your future endeavors, hope there are plenty of dank memes wherever you're going
  5. "I don’t want this because I am bad at video games or intend to skip to the end so I can post the video on YouTube." Sounds like someone is in denial
  6. Wrong topic post, rip Anyways yeah, just google it, there are plenty of online shops where you can buy them from. Or if you don't like buying things, there are plenty of ways to obtain them which can't be talked about on the forums.
  7. What am I supposed to ask a drug dealer in Australia for now? A Dollarydiddlybag?
  8. I didnt know someone else besides me can be such a pessimist. Glad I found a comrade. I wasn't trying to sound pessimistic, it's just that S took about 6/7 months to finish the TL, and those routes (from what i've heard) are shorter than the three in A-1. So I assumed it'd take about the same amount of time, maybe a little longer. That being said I am a pessimist at heart Well, but Sayaka's was already TLed, so it's actually just 2 routes (unless they are redoing Sayaka o.o). If I recall correctly, Sayaka's TL wasn't too great (I could be wrong) so I wouldn't be surprised if they either re-did it or spent some time tweaking it.

  10. My body is ready for this, hopefully you guys are able to finish it by mid-2016, really want to read Benkei's route
  11. http://www.twitlonger.com/show/n_1snlj3r I don't know how many of you keep up with Totalbiscuit (John Bain), or even know about him. For those of you who don't, he is a Youtuber that makes video game reviews and first impression videos, sounds pretty basic but I've always found him to be extremely entertaining. He is also part of the Co-Optional Podcast with Dodger and Jesse Cox. Now to the point, a while back he was diagnosed with what I believe was prostate cancer (correct me if i'm wrong), and earlier this year it seemed as if he overcame it, the cancer in his bowel was completely gone and he seemed to be in the clear. However, about 20 hours ago he sent out a tweet saying that he didn't know how to tell us something, and linked the above website (I think it's some sort of blog website?) saying that the cancer has spread to his liver and that the average life expectancy is 2-3 years. I just wanted to put this out there since he's a really awesome guy, and it'd be great if you guys could wish him luck, pray for him (if you are religious), etc. I don't know..i'm just kind of shocked I guess and felt the need to type this
  12. I'm not sure, I know I've seen it on several other sites as well though. Also, the one used on Kissanime is outdated, I imagine if it was connected to Youtube that it would be updated as the official one is updated. Also i'm pretty sure they have a second player as well, not sure if they host that one themselves or not since I don't know how HTML hosting works.
  13. It does? I was under the impression that they just used the same video player that Youtube did.
  14. This would make a bit more sense, but it's still absurd. How do people at Funimation have the time to do this? Welp, if they can't take down Kissanime, they sure as hell will wreck those screenshots.
  15. 0/10 didn't even include HuniePop
  16. I feel like even if the TPP does come to pass, these copyright laws still won't do much in terms of people pirating and getting in trouble for it. I mean technically, they are no different from how they are now. I mean, if a company really wanted to sue you they could easily do it. These laws aren't going to change the fact that tens of millions of people download pirated content, and that there's no way to get all of them. I guess I could see them making an example out of some uploaders or something though.
  17. http://edmontonjournal.com/opinion/columnists/gary-lamphier-tpp-trade-deal-looks-dead-on-arrival This should qualm any fears one might have about the TPP getting passed. Seems to be highly unlikely now.
  18. Technically, yes. This does go after people that share photos without the copyright holders consent, and people that make fan art and share it.
  19. @Nosebleed What is your opinion on whether or not they will start going after people who downloaded before the thing passes? Are they going to just go after every person who has pirated in the past? Will anyone who has cracked a game/VN in the past get raped in jail now?
  20. @Nosebleed Thanks for all of that information, but i'm curious about part of the copyright section. Are they only going after people sharing files? The source you listed makes it sound like things aren't really changing much, it's just you have a higher chance of getting nailed for sharing stuff. Also i'm curious if this is going to effect people who have pirated prior to this being passed. I guess what i'm asking is, what are the chances of the average person getting nailed by the government if this passes?
  21. For those of you who don't know, TPP stands for Trans-Pacific Partnership, and it's basically a big "fuck you" to just about every regular citizen in every country that it will apply to. We don't know all the details yet, but part of it was leaked to Wikileaks, and there are some pretty concerning things in here. First off, you'll probably want to stop pirating if this does go through, since companies will be able to force your ISP to give them information on people who pirate their work (something that doesn't happen very often, if at all currently, since it's actually pretty hard to trigger the three warning flags and have you get fined). The average citizen can get fined insane amounts of money, and even face jail time. Now I don't think this will mean a shit ton of people are going to get rekt with charges or anything, since not only is suing someone really expensive, but incarceration fees are insanely high as well. It just wouldn't be worth it to them. Another pretty concerning thing, maybe even more concerning given that most of us are anime/manga fans, is that you can get charged with a criminal offense for doing fansubs, making doujins, making AMV's, and even cosplaying. And the copyright holder doesn't even have to file a complaint, you will just get charged regardless if you are caught, even if the copyright holder doesn't care about it. Here is an article on that whole shabang: http://goboiano.com/original/3219-anime-and-cosplay-fans-could-become-criminals-with-new-international-trade-agreement There is also something in the TPP that could raise health care and medicine prices, to the point where there might be a considerable amount of casualties just because people won't be able to afford the healthcare and medicine they need. Obviously there is a lot more to it, and we won't know all the information for about another month, but it isn't looking good at all. Anyways, I just wanted to spread the word about this ludicrous agreement, in hopes that more people will be vocal about it getting turned down. What do you guys think about this? Do you think it will go through? Sorry for the wall of text
  22. Ah, forgot the first HxH ED
