I could count polish translations of VNs worth reading on fingers of one hand, but actually I don't really care. There are very few VNs with targeted audience below age of 18, and if someone older than 18 don't know english enough to read something then it's just laziness, and I don't think we should care that much about lazy people. I guess not everyone have enough time and motivation to learn japanese, but I really don't know how you can live in present world without at least everyday conversation english skills, and basic reading skills. And so (even if nowadays I don't really care much about english translations as well ) I think it's much better to have 2 different VNs translated to english than 1 VN to two languages.

Mare is one of the cutest (loli) girl that you can find in VN and enough reason to read Hoshimemo, but sadly she doesn't have regular route... just short 'bonus' route. However you will meet her a lot in common route, and she is present (having smaller or bigger role) in every other girl route, so you will get your dose of moe anyway. Also true route isn't about Mare, so she isn't a 'main heroine' in a typical sense.

I really liked Isuzu (why everyone insist on using her surname...). She is like a cute kitty that tries very hard to bite your fingers - you can't hate her for that! It's also not her fault, that her route is absolute garbage...

There is no harem, utsuge, triangles, bad ends or anything like that - it's just 'pure love'. Drama in most cases is just to give some dynamics or closure to the route. Yea, some drama is quite terrible (for me Asuho and Isuzu), but other are ok or even good. I would say though, that you can read this if having likable characters is enough for you. If you want also some engaging plot or interesting character development then look for something else.

I hope more will join that list eventually ^^

If you already started learning japanese anway then just grab Interactive Text Hooker and Translation Aggregator and start reading. It's not that hard as one could expect, and reading will be good practise for your learning process. Anyway, it's better to this than just wait for patch that could never come.

Astralair no Shiroki Towa Finally finished Hazuki (and Ochiba...) route. It was OK... -ish I guess. Mainly because Hazuki (and Ochiba) was there, and I liked her a lot. Especially compared to how much I hated Ichika and Kotori in their routes. Plot once again was garbage with ass-pulled happy end. I am wondering about one thing though. I also thought: there is no way the same person wrote this sorry excuse of a plot in Astralair, and great, complicated and unpredictable plot of Iroseka. And I was right. Scenario was made be different people, and the one in Astralair was made by the same people that were working on Hoshimemo, where plot was also mostly very weak and happy endings really crappy. It was my fault to expect too much from this VN I guess... Well, next is Rinne route. I don't have any hope anymore that plot won't be total garbage, but I really like Rinne, and am in love in her seiyu voice so I'm quite looking forward to this ^^

I know that it's your first VN but I think you came here with wrong expectation. It's not like different heroine routes are the same story, just with different girl and other perspective. Each route is completely new plot, and while they will have some common points, because it's the same world and setting, you just can't be surprised that events in one route go other way than in the other.

Tfw you spent all weekend on downloading and installing mods for newly bought Skyrim just to realize that you would prefer to play something else

If I remember correctly there are no bad endings in this VN - here are no choices in routes whatsoever (though some routes don't end very happily...)

Well, the newest Sonohana have sister+sister incest if you are interested in that, though I didn't read that yet so I'm not sure if it's any good, but it's SonoHana, so it could be boring or meh, but at least shouldn't be anything hardcore

All Key VNs are nakige, that is romance comedy with a bit of tragedy and happy ending... All except Rewrite. You didn't read anything else from Key before, so these words wont effect you as much but: don't expect typical Key route structure. There is even not that much romance in here, and routes are very focussed on world and heroine backgrounds. Also you can argue, that final route that you unlock after finishing all others have no heroine at all (at least in typical romantic sense). Oh you will be so shocked and unprepared... ;p

Reading AstralAir, Ochiba route. Seriously, I never really liked Kotori, even during her own route, but after that scene on bridge I really just hope she will be killed -.- Or at least punch in the face hard enough to erase that annoying smirk of her face... Also I hope whole Valken (or how I can call it in english) will be razed to do ground in at least one route... I know Favorite loves showing people as bad guys at first and convince us that they are not so bad later, but some people in that facility really deserved to be smacked in the face... Edit. 琴里「私の刀に斬れないものはない……」 Seriously, can someone kill her? After Kotori route hearing that for the billion-th time just drives me mad

Playing Moemon Fire Red and got my first shiny EVER (and I finished 2nd generation game two times, and two times got to 2/3 of 3rd generation game) It's Spearow, now named Rei. Hasty nature, so it plays nicely with it strengths. Now, play 100 hours more and maybe I find another one

And... finally finished Akai Hitomi ni Utsuru Sekai. Well, it was definitely a good read, but compared to Irohika this time it is in fact just a bonus disc, not a proper sequel, because there is hardly any plot (well, there is some in drama part, but it's not very good and doesn't really count). What you get is a lot, A LOT of soft feelings. There is some humor and small everyday struggles but I feel that pouring that soft feelings and calm mood into reader is a main purpose of this VN. I personally expected and somewhat wanted it, so I'm satisfied. One more thing - why we get Ichigo only now? Why we couldn't get her faster and with a proper route? She is such an amazing and interesting character, I would gladly throw away Tsukasa and Kyou to make place for her, and I even could give up on Mio if I had. Such a waste of a great girl just for short support role :/

Playing some more XCOM Long War. I think the worst part of it is that you can't get menu and reload during enemy turn Getting 4 misses in the row with like 60% hit chance or getting 3 pods 4 chrysalids each at one place I can somehow stand, but having to wait to get that menu is driving me nuts >.<

Actually it's Irotoridori no Hikari fandisc, you are not supposed to read it after Irotoridori no Sekai.

I will be starting reading this tomorrow I think. Took a week of holidays from work to have enough time to read it, I hope it's worth it
