I think I know what episode you're talking about. I just got to a stage where

I might watch it tonight with my brother. I'll probably post my opinions on it after the viewing. I can't say I'm as hyped as I was when the first Avengers came out, but I'm sure I'll enjoy it to some extent nonetheless.

I'm currently playing Super Robot Taisen OG. I think I'm investing too much time into it, but as a fan of strategy games, I just can't stop easily; it's too much fun.

I would watch for sure~ I'm already in love with the game.

YU-NO is my favourite game of all time, even the music captivated me and I spent a whole march break playing through it just 2 months ago. I say play the original~ and make sure you got the voice acting working! The game literally made me change my perspective in life, like the feeling you get after finishing a very good book!

I started playing it today. It's actually the first time I give a reasonable amount of time to play a mech game. As a fan of Advance Wars and Fire Emblem, I'm enjoying it more and more as I progress. I love how some of the characters have their own theme when they fight, the music really grows on you. I took Ryusei's route. I'm not sure what the major difference between the two characters are, but for I'm sure I'll eventually give the other character a try in the future. I'm on Mission 8 with Ryusei ^ ^

I recently finished it. I have to point that the art style is probably the highlight of the game. It reminds me of a world fleshed out of Tim Burton's mind. Now concerning the game: It was a fun little game that I wouldn't probably have played beforehand if it wasn't for the game thread~ I'll maybe start playing the Retro game tomorrow.

Limbo's a shorter game, so I'll probably start with that one first~
-
Busy Lazy as ever I see~ And if you really like it, wait until you try Symphony of the Night Now time for me to play Super Robot Taisen and perhaps Limbo too if it' free.

A lot of people go as far as claiming themselves as true nerds or geeks just by liking or having watched at least a Marvel Movie. There's sometimes more to it than that actually. The movies have been modernized to appeal to everyone, and it's obviously been made by developers who really are fans of the comic books. They probably knew what the best approach was to captivate those who couldn't enjoy reading about superheroes. Their goals seemed to have worked in a way. I did however think that it was pointless to make a third Iron Man film; it was the lowest rated one I believe and it looked more like a plan to milk out more revenues from the box-office. Anyway, the second Avengers does look great so far. I'll probably go watch it the first week it's out.

9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors (Or namely called 999) for the Nintendo DS. I'm going to say now that it's what got me more into Visual Novels. I'm not sure what genre you're into, but that one's a must try if you enjoy a mysterious plot with sci-fi elements~ -
Welcome to the forums! Hope you enjoy your stay as we're all avid fans of the genre~ Feel free to hire me for any project as I can attempt to compose for you in the hopes of meeting your expectations.

I believe it's the original one as it says 1988-1993 in the intro. I forgot where I downloaded it though, but I know the site had a blue background. I remember that it was called Demon Castle when I first found it and you actually have a setup icon to install it on PC. I can upload the game's installation file if you want.

I vote for Super Meat Boy(Modern) and Advance Wars(Retro). But since I already played Advance wars and as much as I do want to play it again, for the sake of playing something new, I vote for Super Robot Taisen: OG(Retro) instead. And I hope my new current laptop can handle the first one, because I remember my old laptop couldn't when I wanted to try.

The key to good writing is reading a lot

I agree, totally. However, just reading may only be half of what's necessary to become a good writer, I believe. I find that writing is also as important as it can make you better at choosing what words to use and what order is best, all based on what you learned by reading prior to writing. I wasn't really a book reader until just a few years ago when I started reading Cosmos and A Song of Ice and Fire. I did notice changes in the way I typed and I also started using words that I forgot I even remembered seeing in the books. It's by writing and typing that you begin to visualize and use whatever it is you recently read (I'm not saying it's like that for everyone, but it's what I noticed). I don't only mean improving the vocabulary, but also mainly getting better at setting up the structure of the context. Before reading, my only source were generic social conversations between friends in MMORPG's and from video-games that were heavy on texts. Those weren't as immersive as books from what I remember, and because of that, I felt like my writing stopped improving. I suppose it does always depend on what the initial content is. -

I was born right before Squaresoft games were thriving and starting to take over the RPG industry (and I'm thankful for not being born in the 80's, when the game market crash occurred). Being born and raised learning French, it took me until I was about 5 or 6 years old until I slowly started learning English alongside my native tongue. During my childhood, my dad and I almost always went to the video-store every weekend to rent movies and games, and being unable to read English at the time, I often had to look at the back of the boxes to see if the game looked interesting (oh god, the memories). Being born in the 90's, I was lucky enough to have stumbled onto games that forever changed me to who I am today. As a gamer and a musician, I don't even know how or where I would be without them... They're my babies, and I soon saw those games more as pieces of art than what non-gamers at the time thought were not. Here are some of the games that have forever carved me: Not knowing how to read English as a kid prevented me from experiencing some of the games to their fullest, especially RPGs. I don't know why, but I ended up renting a lot of RPGs, sometimes accidently, and just seeing numbers all around while playing them made me realized that the number "0" represented the death of my characters. And thus started my RPG addiction the moment I discovered that such a thing as "grinding/training" to get stronger was possible . In terms of stories, I had to guess what was going on by the visuals alone since I couldn't understand what any NPC could say, so I randomly talked to all of them hoping for event triggers . -
When it comes to this genre, I have to say that I prefer them in Mangas or Visual Novels only, not Anime. I find it more enjoyable reading what's going on for some reason and they never feel as rushed.
