  1. 7.7/10 I like Kurugaya from what little I've seen of LB. The art's nice, but it doesn't match with my image of her.
  2. 7.5/10 Izaya's cool.
  3. I kinda understand this... After all, there are a lot of Sci-Fi VNs on the list, but I'm still a bit surprised. Haven't played most of these though, I should get to it.
  4. Welcome! Favorite characters would be Claire Stanfield (Baccano!), Beatrice (Umineko), and Bernkastel (Also Umineko).
  5. 10/10 So amazing, I'm not even sure I'm seeing it.
  6. The bunny ears are awesome, but every other aspect is plain. 7/10
  7. 10/10 I'm not too fond of lolis, but Fuko's awesome.
  8. 10/10 It's pretty much you.
  9. 7/10 Cute, but kinda plain.
  10. Welcome! If you can tell by my avatar and signature, I'm a big Umineko fan. You should read it, but it's super long, and is slow at times.
  11. Probably be? Or already is? Confession: I keep listening to the music of this. --> loli.dance Confession2: I know someone named Ilya.
  12. For Umineko, I feel like the best ones are: EP4 BIG Spoilers Remember11 (True ED spoilers) Higanbana no Saku Yoru ni (CH 3 Spoilers)
  13. Confession: I've never drank alcohol.
  14. I'm AB+, so any will do. M-my dreams. It was even getting more extreme.
  15. Didn't know about custom-made ones, thanks a lot. But I'm broke. The latter option's always good though.
  16. Either way is fine. I would like to hug someone as twisted as Johan Liebert, but I can't imagine it at all. If I try to, he's just lying down with a body completely stiff. Speaking of guys in dakimakuras, I think they just look really weird (Like that DMMD one). I can't imagine Bern or Beato in a fitting pose either. I also have a fetish for blood, and I don't think I could find one with a character covered in blood. Ah, problems. Maybe my standards are just too high. I can't afford one either, so maybe I'll stick with my imagination.
  17. Sociopaths, there is a difference. Edit: Thinking about it more, they're both cool.
  18. I kinda want one, but I don't really know who to put on it. I can't imagine any of my favorite characters on them.
  19. All of them are protagonists. In Swan Song and ef they're not the only ones, but they still are. (According to vndb at the very least.) As for my recommendation, then Yukidoh Satoru from Remember11 is badass, mainly in how he thinks though. He's also not the only one. Takeshi from Ever17 is also badass, but I might be confusing that with manliness...
  20. If you don't mind, I'll attempt to edit this like EldritchCherub. I'll probably fail, but it's worth a try. These are simply suggestions, but I hope you take them into consideration. A few points: I like the atmosphere set by the story. Right off the bat, you feel rather immersed in it by how odd it feels. You have a good description of the setting at first, and it stays throughout the story. The things I imagined were constant. I would've liked it if you explored the setting more, but given the length it's fine. Your protagonist is your only character for the moment, and he interests me. It's mainly because I know absolutely nothing about him. He's clearly not some random guy either, so you want to know more about him. His reactions to things are nicely described, but at the same time, they're pretty generic, so I can't pin his personality down. I'm more interested in him as a plot device than a character so to say. Contrary to your thoughts on it, I liked how it ended. Your descriptions gave the story a nice tension, and I like insanity a lot so it was a nice read. It also make you want a bit more. I'm interested in the cut off parts. Also, this feels like a part of something bigger which I want to read, but it's also okay on its own. My main problem was your wording here though. I'm confused with a lot of things in there. All of it detailed in that spoiler tag. Precision of language is important, as inappropriate words can break immersion. Be clear about the scene and feelings of the character. Even the minor things. I feel like you lacked a lot of words here and there too. At times, it ruins the flow. The best example is this: "I’m not sure where it is that I’m going, and I can’t quite remember how it is that I got here. " Like I said there, in context, I'm confused at when this happens. Namely, where is "here"? Also, does this happen while he starts walking, or a long time after that? The conjunction "and" also connects the two clauses without making it feel orderly. Admittedly, I'm not that good at critiquing, so I'm sorry if my explanations are really vague. And also, I'm sorry if my tone here is a bit... offensive here so to say. Overall, I liked it.
  21. Hey there, Frosty! Enjoy the forums! For more VN recommendations refer to... What is it that you liked most about those VNs?
  22. Thanks a lot to everyone who posted (even solidbatman if at least for the lulz or something). I'll go through Phenomeno first because of the length, followed by Sharnoth because it intrigued me the most. Edit: I heard that Sharnoth has a few h-scenes, but they're relatively important. What's a good way to make sure no one sees it? (Wouldn't want my little brother to see it, and he's the suspicious type.)
  23. Hey there! I must say, the amount of Filipinos showing up are increasing. Enjoy the forums! I would like to ask though... Do you need assistance for Plan C?
  24. Might as well start with this then, lol. This part of the writing style interests me a lot. Is it like reviewing one scene in multiple perspectives? Or is it like showing you the scene again to make you come up with a different interpretation after something happened? Or is it "one of those things you can only experience and not define"? In terms of atmosphere, how is it? In a VN, it's one of the most important aspects to me in comparison to a novel due to how much more you can feel that world, so I like to know about it a lot.
