My day was going fine, until someone (who shall remain nameless) made a dig about my age. Now I’m sad My tears are making my tea salty, which is a horrible combination and is making me sadder Hopefully random people will airmail me cookies so I can feel better @Kenshin_sama Consider getting a Dvorak keyboard when you're released from surgery. Even normal Dvorak's are naturally ergonomic, and puts far less pressure on your wrist.

Sony pretty much killed that idea back in 2015: “That’s a tough question,” he replied when asked about a successor to PlayStation Vita. “People have mobile phones and it’s so easy to play games on smartphones,” Yoshida said. “And many games on smartphones are free, or free to start. “I myself am a huge fan of PlayStation Vita and we worked really hard on designing every aspect. Touch-based games are fun – there are many games with really good design. But having sticks and buttons make things totally different. So I hope, like many of you, that this culture of playing portable games continues but the climate is not healthy for now because of the huge dominance of mobile gaming.” http://nichegamer.com/2015/09/26/climate-is-not-healthy-for-a-playstation-vita-successor/

Novurdim linked an article in the Root Letter thread: As this was a representative of PQube speaking, it would mean he's talking about Western sales. That being said, the general observations by fans are that Publishers are turning their backs on localising PSVita exclusives in the West. Root Letter is one of the few titles that bucked the norm, but not even companies like XSeed are doing Vita only in recent times. So although Root Letter indicates that there's still a market, I dunno if Publishers view the situation the same way.

It likely has little to do with being otome, and more to do with the platforms. Vita does well in Japan, but it's fairly dead as a handheld in the West. Mobile is where it's at in the West, or 3DS. Localising a PC/PS4 game was likely a safer decision. EDIT: I'm not saying I agree with that line of thinking, but everywhere you go you hear jokes about Vita's 'deadness' in the West.

Heh, if the OP is only playing visual novels he should get an IPS monitor. Gamers don't like them because of response rate, but with VNs it doesn't matter. Usually hella expensive though xD

You're pretty lucky. I know young mechanics and plumbers who aren't so blessed And yes I know you work as an engineer and it's a fairly different field, but none of the fields we're raising are similar to 'store supervisor' in any case xD You also tend to get less leeway when you're just employed or promoted I wonder how Eclipsed feels about us talking about him like this :3 Hey @Eclipsed, good luck buddy. Stuff up and it’s gonna be your arse AHAHAHAHAHA ...

Yep, but the bigger you screw up something on the job, the greater the likelihood of getting fired. Or losing business. Which is why training is important, it allows for on the job experience with fewer consequences for stuffing up ... theoretically anyway.

Posting below image because it deserves to be reposted across forums. And also time and space, but that's a bit more difficult: -
Maria's normal attack needs an accuracy upgrade, otherwise she misses about half the time.

But what if by ‘in English’ they really meant ‘in Swahili’ and all the sprites in the game were replaced with stick figures drawn by some dude with no arms but really nimble feet? So now you’re watching foot-redrawn stick figures having sex with other foot-redrawn stick figures and listening to them moan in Swahili. Same. Getting the whole game in one package is pretty neat, but I really don't see any serious issue with an episodic release.

That might explain the state of the English site xD -
In some cases, only their entire life.

Has anyone tried The Shadows of Pygmalion?

Will give it a whirl in a couple of days. Will report back then, hopefully to say it's awesome -

Winterwolves discovered the same thing. Planet Stronghold: Colonial Defence incorporated a realistic art style[1] similar to option 'b' above, and there were endless complaints about it. So many that Winterwolves announced they'll never try for a realistic art style again. The opinions of the community makes me sad [1]
