Little Busters and its ending: Pretty spoilerific so take care. MikeY91, what exactly didn't you like about Little Busters? I find it extremely hard to recommend Rewrite to you if you didn't enjoy Little Busters. The humor in Rewrite is probably more widely appealing, but being both Key works, the similarity in style isn't avoidable. Also, Little Busters was average for me until I knew the whole story. Then the novel became amazing in my eyes. That's probably why some people are calling it a masterpiece. People who didn't like it at first, likely won't put in the time to get to the final route. This is probably why there are extremes with the reception of Little Busters. Which is completely reasonable but thats why I tell people to stick with it. Well I haven't finished LB, I stopped playing during Kud's route (nothing against kud specifically), I don't know I just really got very bored of it. I may complete it again. LB isn't terrible, some routes were actually good, but I just thought it was too long maybe, maybe I was expecting something more deep. I will give it a shot again and finish it, hope it will be worth it. Well, like I said, sad VNs do make me feel terrible sometimes but I'm addicted so there is no hope for me to avoid them Lool ~~~ Before I read Narcissus I was like "ok let's find a really sad VN to read for tonight", I found Narcissus, a VN about terminally ill people so I was like "alright that'll give me lots of feels" So I started reading it about 1 am... 3 hours later: "What?? What the....? NO NO NO, you can't be serious...My heart..oh my heart, the pain...How can I live normally again?? What is...happiness..I don't remember that feeling...How am I going to sleep now? Why the Hell did I read that now?? I'm an idiot !!" Lol, anyway I still think it's a masterpiece, I just wasn't prepared for all those feels.

Yea same for me with Narcissus, I hope that at least I'm bit immune against sad VNs now XD, I'll see how Swan Song goes. Thanks again for your help.

and it's also sad so from 1 to 10 I'll said a 8/9 on how strong and shocking it is. Don't worry I haven't been reading any posts here, yeah you're right I should've said sad instead of dark. Well I guess I'm decided on reading Swan Song. I hope I don't get depressed over it (I probably will, but I'm an idiot who can't resist sad VNs)

On a Narcissus scale, how D̶a̶r̶k̶ sad is Swan Song?

Dammit, well I guess I'll put it off for now. So far I'm leaning towards Steins Gate, Swan Song is on my mind too. But I see people are divided on it, some say it's great and some call it stupid. steins;gate, you should play that one if you enjoyed cross channel, i dont think you will enjoy rewrite considering you didnt like little busters, if you like global warming stuff then play rewrite.. Steins Gate is definitely on my list, I don't have any special interest about global warming, but I do like VNs about apocalypse. Honestly I'm debating whether I should start Stiens Gate or Rewrite.It's a hard decision. PS: I have this fear that I will finish playing all the good VNs, then be left with nothing good anymore. XD

I don't mind length as long as it's not just pointless events like in the common route in Little Busters, that was really a pain to go through, I admit there were some interesting and funny stuff but still I was bored.

It is true if you put it that way, since the word "Route" means deviating from the original path, That means that Cross Channel is indeed one route. but i am guessing in VN's terminology route means focusing on one of the heroines until their good/bad end. anyway, no one answered my question, why do Miki's boobs disappear when she wears a swimsuit??

yeah i know that, i was just pointing out that there is so much line repetition in the mini-route, i wasn't talking about making the wrong choice and looping again

well finally new things started happening, and yes i am in Kiri's mini route, it was very weird that they made a large portion of the mini-route only consisting of repeated lines/CGs.do they expect us to reread all that? not for me haha Edit: And BTW why do Miki's boobs disappear when she is wearing a swimsuit???

i started Kiri's mini route, so far it's only repeating the same lines that have already occurred with Kiri, strangely the skip button won't work indicating that i have not read those lines or that they will have new lines in between, but i haven't read anything new so i have been fast-forwarding the whole thing, i haven't finished it yet but wondering if this is the case for all the other mini routes.

I'm almost done with Cross channel, I'm going to start a new VN, do you guys recommend Rewrite? So far I'm not impressed with Key's VNs, I played little busters but dropped it (I don't know why many people call it a masterpiece) So far I played: Katawa Shoujo: 8.5/10 Saya no Uta:9/10 G-Senjou no Maou: 7/10 Cross channel: 9.5/10 Katawa Shoujo: dropped Little busters: dropped Well based on my ratings do you guys recommend me to play Rewrite? I do like a VN with a good plot twists, and I prefer Them to have many feels. I know Rewrite is considered one of the top VNs out there, but I'm becoming very wary of those "top rated" VNs, I know people have different tastes though.

Hello guys, sorry for the typical question. I'm basically looking for a really good short anime with a good plot. I'm talking about something like death note, Attack on Titans, Elfin Lied, etc I will be showing the anime to my mom XD so far I made her watch Death Note, and we are watching Attack on Titans together, and she is loving both. So I'm basically looking for anime like that, maybe a mystery/action genre with a really good believable plot. I don't want romance focused anime, but romance could play a small part. Also it would be great if that anime brings lots of feels lol Finally, (obviously) the anime can't have adult content, it would be extremely bizarre to watch something like Elfin Lied with your mother haha Anyway, please give me something good ! hahaha it wasn't a bad VN, story-wise it was actually great, it is just that i didn't feel attracted to the characters, also aside from the main route, the other routes were a bit boring. i did like Haru though, she was soooo weird it was adorable
