A new Grisaia game that has a new protagonist? Sounds like a typical sequel to the series. On the other hand, a new series of any sort can be a hit or a miss depending on the content for it. I'm not a fan of it being released in parts or volumes. To me, it takes away the experience. I guess I'll have to wait for the full version to come out.

That's hard to say actually. I don't think I have any VNs that I'd consider a masterpiece to be honest. For it to be a masterpiece in my eyes, it needs to have a very good story, character development and maybe a well structured romance setting as well. So far not many of them have reached that level. I've also stopped reading the story-heavy ones since I usually lose interest in them straight away and went back to reading the moeoge ones instead. If you ask about favourite VNs then that's a different story since I can name a few of them like the story mode from Blazblue. The game that got me into reading VNs.

Yeah, that sentence wasn't expressed properly. I meant that some people may prefer to download games outside of Steam and not only be restricted to buying that game from it, if that makes sense.

May I suggest selling the game outside of steam. Not many people like to use it and prefer to download digitally without it. Heck, even I found this game by chance when I was browsing around to kill time. I saw this game on Steam and thought that I'd definitely give it a chance. Did not regret it one bit!!! You guys really outdid yourselves on this one. The characters were well thought out and the voices themselves were expressed perfectly especially Valerie and Kaori (I know I've been saying that a lot). I hope you guys continue to add some more content for this game but if not, I'll be looking forward to the next one: Crystalline.

There should definitely be a Nikki route after all the teasing they've put into it But to think it's actually in the game. How do you get it? Activate all of Nikki's cutscenes?

I don't really mind those 'onee-san types' but I get what you mean. She's seriously a different change when compared to the other typical and cheeky characters that you find in visual novels. Valerie also doesn't flinch when you retaliate back on her. She gets back at you even more. I like that. Yeah, it's so obvious that she belongs to Shou but I've heard that they wrapped it up ok (that's what I've heard so take it as a grain of salt). The devs should have listened to other people and put in a route for Mei. I was hoping there was one but nope... So, there's a bro route and an IMOUTO ROUTE???? That's a first I've heard of it. I thought the devs said that they didn't want to put it in because they would be behind bars if it was done (or something along that).

Cool, thanks. I'll watch it when I get the chance. Thank god they didn't make Valerie a trap character or kept that line. I'd be really depressed after that revelation. I'm still playing through all of the other character's route but damn, I'm so tempted to go for Valerie now especially that alcohol scene (I saved her for last). That voice is so seductive, hehe. I'm looking forward to what they do for the next game as well. Seeing as what they can do with Ace Academy, I bet you this game would be awesome as well. All they need to do is to not promote it only on Steam.

I agree with you on that one. Her character was top-notch and her VA really outdid herself!!! Although Kaori the tsundere wasn't bad either. Seriously her character went past my expectations. The voice-acting was good at portraying her personality and the scenes actually showed her tsundere side really well. That's interesting. I didn't know about the potential problems during the development of this game. If you have a link to it, I'd love to take a look at it later. Thanks for the warning too.

I decided to try something new which is out of my preference so I searched around until I found this game on steam. Why? because I was bored and I usually don't like to play games on Steam either. It's called Ace Academy. For a VN made in an english-speaking territory, the voice acting is pretty good and it expresses the personality of the character very well. Because of this, the characters are also interesting especially Valerie. I also have to say that the setting so far for this game isn't bad either. This is one of the few english-dubbed VN that I actually enjoyed reading besides Blazblue.

I'm guessing this is an all-ages version since kickstarter won't allow the 18+ game to be submitted. Looks like an 18+ patch is coming. Maybe? EDIT: Just realised what nutaku means...

Well, I'm from Australia and I'll admit that it is the worst place to import things especially for 18+ games. I wanted to order a special edition of Da Capo II and later a hard copy of Princess Evangile but I've changed my mind due to customs. I have other things to worry about than getting caught by a bunch of people with rubber gloves and be branded as a pedo on my records. In all likelihood you won't get caught if you order one game. My friend works at customs and he tells me that most of the people working there would be too busy searching for other things such as drugs, illegal weapons, dangerous chemicals etc. However, if you do get caught then it's all over. Better not risk it all and just buy it digitally. It sucks why Australia is so strict with these kinds of things. Most of the time they exaggerate more on the censorship part. Heck Gal Gun and Valkyrie Drive just got banned in Australia. Before that, it was Mortal Kombat for being too gory and Atelier Rorona Plus got an 18+ rating because of the costumes being too revealing.

Game is not bad. I like Kosame's and the mystery girl's route. Komomo isn't bad either except that it leads up to Kosame's route. When I mean lead up to it I don't mean that you need to finish her route to get to it. Komomo's story and her past all help set up Kosame's one. The ero scenes on the other hand aren't well thought out. The first day you got out with a girl and then the next couple of days you end up doing it with them. Some of the girls you just have sex with them as soon as you start dating or just before it. And one more thing I would like to say: GET RID OF CHINAMI!!!

Up to Touko's route and haven't tried any others yet and all I can say is: "That escalated quickly" It makes me wonder if the character routes will be this short or am I underestimating it and her route will be longer?
