In my opinion, I'd say the game is ok but not that great. All three heroines go yandere for the main character and I can only understand how two of them were changed. I still don't get how the teacher becomes one. Your childhood friend probably has the most common and logical explanation to how she becomes a yandere character. It also looks like the game tries to steer you towards her in the end. The ending is what you'd expect from a psychotic person so that fits the 'yandere' type. There are no voices overall so that was a bit disappointing and the explanation is a bit shallow. In the end, I reckon you should give it a shot if you're trying to learn and enjoy more about yandere characters. That's what I did and I didn't regret it except getting freaked out that is.

Root Double- Before Crime * After Days - Kickstarter launched!

I hate to be the bearer of bad news for anyone who wants a physical copy of the Vita version but that might be difficult to obtain. If the file size is over 4GB then you may have to get the digital copy in the end. From what I've heard, Sony only made two types of NVG (PS Vita) memory cards for retail which were the 2GB and the 4GB ones. I've heard that they were planning to make an 8GB one but there's hasn't been any news about it since then. If you guys are saying that they should use an 8GB one then you'd have to ask Sony about that since they've never release them. If you think that being able to put them into two separate chips just for one game, I'd say it's possible by using two 4GB NVG cards or one 4GB and one 2GB. However, you're wasting your money just for that convenience and you're also wasting empty space on the chip as well. I've never seen a company who would put a game into two separate chips just for the Vita. If it was a disc then yes, it would be possible since they're cheaper to produce than the Vita ones. Implementing games onto a chip/cartridge is not the same as placing one onto a disc. The cost makes a major difference in this matter. -
So Marika's route is considered the shortest in this game? That's kind of disappointing since I was looking forward to that one the most.

Majikoi A Translation Project Discussion
jetpack003 replied to twdarkeh's topic in Fan Translation Discussion
Makes sense. That would also explain why Benkei got an actual route in A as well as Azumi getting one as well. So does that mean that S had most of their money focused on their animations and the remaining amount was put on script-writing. That could also explain why i haven't seen a movie mode in A either. -
Majikoi A Translation Project Discussion

I wonder why Majkoi! S turned out the way it did and why did they decide to make Majikoi! A in the first place. I thought that S had a lesser budget than the original version but that wouldn't explain why they made A. -
That's pretty decent progress from the looks of it. Either the game is short or they just wanted to release the game ASAP.

I think polls in general which doesn't require an account will always have a flaw in the voting system. I'm guessing that if you have an account, the record of the poll will be saved on to their server. Polls which doesn't require an account will have no data saved onto the server which means that people are able to continuously vote for the same thing. I used to think that the polls without an account were tracked by saving your IP address but I guess there's a reason why they don't do that as well.

"If you back Libra of the Vampire Princess for $35 or more, you will get a digital skikishi of Aoi (vampire hunter) and a chance to win a double-sided pillow cover (choose your favourite from 5 girls)" Is what it says in the e-mail. I'm not sure if the shikishi is signed or not but they didn't mention anything from it so I guess not.

Root Double- Before Crime * After Days - Kickstarter launched!
jetpack003 replied to Decay's topic in Visual Novel Talk
Is that the reason why SP frequently post VN titles on Kickstarter. To ensure its success? I thought that it was used to help boost their funding for localisation projects since they're low on budget. Right now, it seems like they're frequently using Kickstarter to the point that it looks like they're taking advantage of the situation. I wonder how it compares to Mangagamer business-wise since I haven't seen any KS from them. -
You should say that to the Collector's Edition of Princess Evangile where Ritsuko won the poll to have her on the tapestry.

That's actually pretty nice. I like how it has some quotes on the drawing as well. Maybe Libra could have that as well like "Love 4 You!" or a popular character quote that the only voice actors/director knows. Yeah, having replicas in is pretty costly especially one that is very detailed. If money isn't the problem then they should go with that option. Figurines are pretty popular in Japan and it gets even worse when there's so few of them made.

This. Seriously, us weebs seem to go ape-shit over figurines and dakis. I personally don't get it (I've only ever bought one figurine and don't want a daki), but it seems to be pretty true, looking at the past few Kickstarters where they were offered. I'd second the opinion that you guys should look into that. Making them Kickstarter-exclusive is also probably a good idea, if you do end up deciding to go through with it. I second these guys ideas! I'm pretty sure Mikandi Japan has got all the rewards relating to the Otaku culture. All of them looks good but for personal reasons I have to avoid the mousepad and the hug pillows. The acrylic figure and the keychain is pretty much what I like and what I'm able to get as well. Maybe you could add in some character figures or some chibi ones. Other ideas could be a steelbook, clothing patches which have emblems on it, a replica sword that Shuma uses (or any other character's weapons), model replicas of character's accessories like Iris's necklace, plushies, more hand drawings with other characters (since they're sold out), a tapestry of a certain character instead of everyone on it, a picture of character signed by it's main voice actor, stationary (books or pens) with character designs on it, USB with character designs on it (I'd buy that), a coin which celebrates this occasion etc. You can also use the poll to create figures, plushies or tapestries which represent the #1 character voted (probably Iris). That's if you have the budget that is. My personal opinion would be to make an actual figurine of that character and put it into kickstarter as well. I'd prefer figures which are actually similar to the character's physical appearance but put into a 1:7 or lower scale and not something flat or chibi. Like these guys said "Make it a kickstarter exclusive" that's going to be the key.

Koei Temco is poison in anything it touches. I'm guessing that this is a way for them to save money by using an excuse to cover themselves. Dead or Alive has become a game more about sex appeal than fighting these days so I guess it makes their point a bit stronger. It has to be a claim from an employee because I haven't heard any criticism for sexism in this title so far and even then why would they say it now out of all times. They should be talking about it back when Dead or Alive 4 or 5 has those 'appealing' DLCs. Honestly, I really don't like Koei Temco as a company. They cheap out on localised games, charge you for overpriced DLCs and re-release the same game over and over again with just a small amount of content. They try to make you pay for more than what you've already got.

I don't want to be a wet blanket but why Cloud? FF7 was not released on the Nintendo consoles. The only excuse that I can find was that he starred in the Kingdom Hearts series. Other than that there shouldn't be any reason to put him in the game. I'm not disappointed or anything but I just can't find the reason for it.

Which visual novels has the most amount of choices?
jetpack003 replied to Dark_blade64's topic in Visual Novel Talk
Blazblue: Calamity Trigger has a lot of annoying choices that you must make to 100% the story such as: winning the battle, losing the battle, winning without using any specials and picking the right combination of choices. This was by far the most annoying VN that I have played to fully complete the game.
