  1. 5 heroines I hated the most: 5. Natsume Rin (Little Busters!) For the most of time, but become better as the story goes, still disliked her in the end though. 4. Matsushima Michiru (Grisaia) Too annoying, Makina is even better. 3. Musashi Kosugi (Majikoi) Even tried to seduce the protagonist with her mediocre charm, but backfired. 2. Sakaki Chizuru (Muv-Luv) Seriously, why she was even chosen to be a squad leader? Meiya is much more better. 1. Oone Touka (Sharin no Kuni) Duh, good-for-nothing, and has badmouthing as her hobby.
  2. 5. Mayuzumi Yukie (Majikoi) 4. Tohsaka Rin (FSN) 3. Suou Amane (Grisaia) 2. Aomi Isara (Koichoco) 1. Habane Kotori (IMH)
  3. Without him, there will be no Little Busters. Helped the protagonist to become a badass. I like his comebacks, and seems to be most compatible supporting character to the protagonist.
  4. Recently completed Koichoco. For an amateur reader like me, it is very nice. The main route and each characters' route are interesting, with their own unique problems. I like Isara's character (and her smile), but I think Mifuyu's route is the most appealing. Yume's character never fail to make me grin lol. For Koichoco's art, it feels more like being drawn with hands, which is quite nice. The Extra menu and main ending that get unlocked when you have completed all routes make the VN quite memorable. Feel like hoping for Aokana's translation project to finish soon.
  5. Tsundere, like Rin from FSN. But deredere is nice sometimes. Cute, kouhai-type, like Asa from Konosora. Add cooking skills and I will instantly like that heroine.
  6. The OP protagonist, it is like a working adult re-enrolled into a high school again, making his classmates look dumb and influencing a loli and everyone's maid into perverts. For me, the main route is somewhat boring, and I found Michiru a bit annoying (I did her route last), but the humor and unique school life story are quite good. It becomes more interesting after entering each heroines' routes, and the characters' development is the main charm of GnK. Amane and Sachi's route are gold.
  7. Thanks. I will try on this one. One of Super Robot game series? It is all untranslated though, I am afraid I won't make up all of it.
  8. Hmm.. any translated one? I see. Maybe it is not a popular genre to get translated anyway..
  9. Hi, I am looking for VN with historical setting and/or militaristic theme. The VN should have serious story and characters (I meant, no moe or gender bender like Sengoku Hime). Alternate history is also fine. Muv-Luv Alternative is my reference for this. Feel free to recommend any. Thanks!
  10. I guess you are right, it is just a mini route when I played with savedata that doesn't enable EX routes. It is just happens that after a short route about rivalry between Sasami and Rin, it continues to Sasami EX route, which is still untranslated. Thanks, Nosebleed.
  11. I was playing Little Busters EX and tried to do a hidden mini-route (available after doing Rin1 route, according to tlwiki's walkthrough, a story about rivalry between Rin and Sasami), then the game jumped months from May to October. All the dialogues and choices are Japanese and the walkthrough didn't help, but it seemed to be a route about Sasami (without H-scenes). Is there any translation for it? If not, what is the route about? Thanks.
  12. Thanks. Well I just prefer slice-of-life over other genres. And when I was about to play them, I doubt they would turn out good, but it turned out to be very worthwhile, so I enjoyed that genre.. But I found some slice-of-life VN without edgy plot to be boring, though, or the writing is not fun enough to read.
  13. Thanks!
  14. Thanks. Well, I played it for a while, but didn't enjoy it enough because the graphic is not as good as newer VN, maybe I will continue playing it in the future.
  15. Yes, the VN is quite popular, though. Actually I have a tendency to avoid horror scene (war horror is ok for me), thus reading only the text without seeing the scene. So maybe I will give it a try and quit if it become unbearable. Thanks.
  16. Sorry, but I am not a fan of horror or gory genre Thanks!
  17. Sepia Tears was my first VN I've ever finished, and since then I became more interested in VNs. Not yet, maybe I will see about it. I also played Muv-Luv Alternative Chronicles vol. 1 & 2, though. Those are good military genre. Thanks!
  18. Hello, I am new to this forum. I found this forum when looking for VN walkthroughs and new VN recommendations. It is a great forum to look for and talk about VN, I thought myself. My very first VN is If My Heart Had Wings that I played on my android phone out of curiousity about VN, but stuck with the Limited Edition. Then I played Sepia Tears, which left me good impression about VNs. My first big VN is Muv-Luv Alternative, which at first I didn't know that I had to play its sequel first, but nonetheless played them. It took me time to get over depression brought to me because I never thought such VN would left me great impact. Then I proceed to play more VNs I thought interesting. Most of VNs I played after Muv-Luv Alternative is of school life, slice-of-life genre, such as Majikoi, G-Senjou no Maou, Sharin no Kuni, and Grisaia no Kajitsu. At the moment I wrote this post, I was playing Little Busters. I prefer VN with good story and writing, particularly about school life, slice-of-life, or military such as Muv-Luv. Any recommendation is welcome. That's all. Hope we all get along. Best regards.
