  1. >Reading a VN without understanding the story Just learn Japanese instead tbh. I remember when I was desperate enough to use machine TL to read. It's a waste of time.
  2. I think those numbers count line breaks as well. In the first script extraction, there was a single line that was broken up into 3 spaces. That may have been why the line count was so high.
  3. Yes. Please plague the west with more moege before releasing your only interesting titles.
  4. And yet, they still won't localize their most interesting VN, Sakura no Mori.
  5. That's actually a lie from TLwiki. The script size has been calculated at being 68,206 lines overall. Nothing as ludicrous as 118,000 lines, but it's still quite an undertaking to translate.
  6. I still don't think they'll be doing hardcopy announcements again, especially after the reaction they got in 2016.
  7. People should rightfully expect licensing announcements at panels, especially when release dates are usually announced through Twitter.
  8. Asking for release dates as announcements. Seriously, they got such a bad reaction from making 4 announcements from Anime Central 2016 hard copy announcements that I doubt they'll ever announce anything besides localizations nowadays. They'll most likely announce release dates on their Twitter whenever they're due to come out in a month.
  9. Trinoline would've been a cool announcement last year if it hadn't been spoiled 6 months beforehand. Either way, I agree with you on the predictions, although Rance games are too high profile for such a con, even if they are boring.
  10. Good choices overall, but this is Anime Boston and knowing their history at this con, the announcements aren't going to be nearly that awesome.
  11. They did not, which leads to speculation this year being more difficult in a way.
  12. Yeah. It's so weird that they never posted their survey results.
  13. So Anime Boston is coming up in the next week or so and they apparently have a new partner and 2 new VNs from old partners to announce. My speculation is the new partner is going to be some nukige company or a new moege/doujinge license and I'm hoping for good announcements for the other two. Enough about my vague speculation. What do you guys think will be announced at this years Anime Boston?
  14. Especially when Sekai Project or MoeNovel is involved.
  15. I agree with this outdated meme.
  16. Reinhard and Mercurius from Dies Irae. The protagonist from Fata Morgana. Tesla from Gahkthun (Even if the VN itself kinda sucked) Senri from Sorcery Jokers. This thread is really gay btw.
  17. And here I thought starting to read VNs at 14 was really young... Anyways, hello and welcome to the forums. Dies Irae truly is an amazing read and I hope something else from Light gets localized in the near future, like Senshinkan or Silverio Vendetta.
  18. Dustmania Grotesque would be great. @Dergonu approves of it, so you know it's good. w
  19. Update: Since I have received quite a few applications for the editor position, I am no longer looking for candidates for the position. However we still need a good translator and TLC before we can set our sights on starting the project.
  20. It wouldn't actually be a loss of time for me overall. It's really up to Ittaku and if he'd want to mark such a test. If you actually want to try the test out, just PM me so we don't have to flood this thread anymore.
  21. If you already know you lose motivation quickly, then I'd know not to give you a test, unless you actually want to take it.
