Honestly, seeing all these heroines from non TLed visual novels is making me want to actually use a text hooker for once, even if it isn't great.
-
This entire thread is making me ready to delete Da Capo. Is is needed to read the other two? I liked her in the true ending alone. She became a lot better. I only put her there because of her good end which was annoying to read.

Hey. I had to limit quite a bit as well. Once I read more, this list will be more difficult to make.
-
That's weird. I thought Sakura's route was boring and I absolutely hated Rin's route. I still love both of them in the original VN.
-
Seriously though, what were Overdrive thinking with putting 5 h scenes in a span of an hour of playtime. It's pretty ridiculous.
-
Awesome list although I prefer Mei over Ran, but that's just me hating Ran's route quite a bit.
-
I forgot one 3. Kirari from Kira Kira- her actions in the common route pissed me off to no end. Her good end is pretty shit as well. Luckily the true end was pretty great even if she's the main heroine.

I only have 2 heroines I hate. Then again, I haven't played a hell of a lot of visual novels. 1. Fal from Symphonic Rain- her actions near the end pissed me off to no end. 2. Touka from Sharin No Kuni- I absolutely hated her when I first played it. Her attitude made me hate her and her change in attitude made me hate her more. At least her route ending was good. I don't agree with your decisions of Usami, my favorite visual novel heroine, and Toko on your lists, but I'm not one of those people who will say they'll castrate anybody who doesn't agree with them.

Props for Chie. I just finished Kira Kira and I loved Chie. She one good example of a tsunderes who doesn't have to beat the shit out of the main character which is great by my standards.

I'd thought I'd make a thread of everybody's top 5 visual novel heroines and the reasons behind them being liked so much. Also, one pet series or else some people's lists are gonna be filled with one series alone. My top 5 are 1. Usami Haru (G senjou no Maou)- she's smart, funny, and cute as all hell. Especially the hair, I don't know why I love it so much. 2. Mayucchi (Majikoi)- I love her awkwardness in the first game and how she starts overcoming it. Plus, she's adorable and busty. 3. Yumiko (Grisaia series)- I love quiet heroines, but she added a little more to that and seeing her transform from such a cold person into what she is currently in the series was great. Plus, she's hot and busty. 4. Sachi (Sharin No Kuni)- her personality and changes she goes through in her part of the game were awesome to watch and she was already a fun character. Also, she's hot and busty (and you see a common trend). 5. Tohno (Air)- again, back to the quiet heroines and although she's not the same kind as Yumiko, her personality shines through and her route is one of my favorites in all the Key visual novels I have played. It'll be interesting to see your guys' lists.

discussion Information about Grisaia
VirginSmasher replied to DarkZedge's topic in Visual Novel Talk
I have a feeling they have to release an 18+ version because of how many scenes are in Meikyuu and Rakuten. If they don't, I'm gonna have a few words with Sekai Project and Denpasoft. -
Root Double- Before Crime * After Days - Kickstarter launched!
VirginSmasher replied to Decay's topic in Visual Novel Talk
That does look pretty depressing. Hopefully it gets funded because it looks amazing. Then again, there could be a burst of backers or the other way around. We can't really tell at this point. -
Root Double- Before Crime * After Days - Kickstarter launched!
VirginSmasher replied to Decay's topic in Visual Novel Talk
I agree that it's good for attention due to all the big projects Sekai has brought over to us English only plebs, but there is also that select group that hate Sekai Project and everything they do and will do nothing but hate on everything they do even if it is amazing for the community. -

Clannad is a really good game and that would never have been doomed to fail because of all the fans of the anime. Not very many people know about this VN which is unfortunate due to high ratings and I agree, Sekai Project isn't treating their fans well and once they fix that, more of their projects will actually get funded. It's a shame such a good novel had to be picked up by Sekai Project of all companies. -

It's unfortunate that the Kickstarter's doing badly. I really wanted to read this one as well. -
G Senjou No Maou is pretty awesome. It's my favorite VN and Usami Haru is one of the best heroines I've come across. Still have to read the entirety of Muv Luv.

Recommendations by Year (starting with 2014)
VirginSmasher replied to Clephas's topic in Recommendations
When you can, I'd really appreciate it. I've added a lot of these VNs to my wishlist for when I eventually learn Japanese and would always appreciate more suggestions. -
Recommendations by Year (starting with 2014)
VirginSmasher replied to Clephas's topic in Recommendations
You really need to make a version from 2000 to 2010 because I'd really love some older VNs to play once I learn Japanese. Also, can't wait for 2012 and 2011 to be posted. More VNs to read is always great. -
Root Double- Before Crime * After Days - Kickstarter launched!

I really would support it because it looks interesting, but I hate the fact that they have to use kickstarter every time to bring a VN over here. I won't be supporting this one. -
What makes Grisaia no Kajitsu so great?
VirginSmasher replied to starlessn1ght's topic in Visual Novel Talk
She'd never do that. She's too stubborn and proud to do it. -
Grisaia No Kajitsu was my first VN I played, but the first VN I ever completed was Air. It was the catalyst for my VN binge last year and really got me into Nakiges and Key in general.
