  1. Noble Works is doing fine. You should ask it yourself. In all honesty, I haven't had the chance to play it because visual novel translations are coming out faster than I can finish them.
  2. I may be late to this, but congrats on getting funded. I'll eagerly be waiting for this one. It looks very interesting.
  3. I agree with that. It's still safe technically, but they're not doing anything to help their case which doesn't give me any more hope for this one.
  4. I haven't played as many visual novels as a lot of you, but so far, Michiru has to be my favorite one. I could actually tolerate her at the beginning and she kept getting better.
  5. It's a shame that Sekai Project has to learn this lesson through this Kickstarter. They're sacrificing a great visual novel with bad tiers and not enough attention. I hope they realize that they have to try harder for this one because this visual novel doesn't have a following like Clannad and Grisaia.
  6. I quite liked the endings. Sure, a couple of them were a little weak, but they weren't horrible like another route's in another visual novel (Fal's route in Symphonic Rain).
  7. Has to be my all time favorite opening in any VN. It gets me pumped every time I hear it. When I first saw it a while ago, I knew I had to play this, and it turned out to be a fantastic visual novel This one also got me extremely excited to play this one because of how great Kara No Shoujo is and it's just so intriguing that I just had to play it immediately when it came out. I also have a fondness for Key visual novel openings like these ones I love these ones mainly for the songs in them. They just match the games so perfectly in my eyes.
  8. I loved Grisaia's common route. Maybe I'm a sucker for that kind of comedy, but I was laughing at it every 5 minutes.
  9. The guys probably thinking at this point "I may be wrong about this, but I think she really likes me, but I'm nor sure." Perfect example of being completely unrealistically amazing in bed for being a first timer.
  10. I'm fucking Dying from these ones. People in my class think I'm insane at the moment. Anyways, most of the cliches I hate have already been mentioned but I guess I'll list them. 1. Tsunderes that have immeasurable strength and can kick the protagonist's ass no matter how strong they are. Seriously, how in the hell can a loli that looks 5 years old kick a grown teenager's ass? 2. Random h scenes- Don't get me wrong, I love h scenes but seeing 8 h scenes for one character is pretty ridiculous. Personally, the excessive sex belongs in nukiges and shouldn't come anywhere near the plot (not that kind of plot, you pervs). 3. When guys can still ejaculate tons after blowing their load 8 times. It's pretty stupid in my eyes when a guy can still spray a fountain after going that long. 4. Seeing the same dialogue everywhere in h scenes. At first, when I first discovered hentai, it was great to listen to, but now after seeing the exact same dialogue in every single h scene makes it sound like the developers don't care for these scenes and just throw them in to get the eroge crowd. 5. Unrealistic breast sizes- I'm a Kyonyuu guy who can get into Pettanko and regular sized, but eventually the realism gets to me when every single girl seems like they break their back everytime they walk or that the girl has aged but their chest still is at age 5.
  11. Let's hope it can. It'd be a waste that this visual novel isn't exposed to the masses because it's really highly rated, even higher than some of the great translated visual novels right now.
  12. That's probably what will happen. It's best to just read it how I'm going to. It may not be the best way to, but this Kickstarter honestly looks doomed in my eyes. It's at around 52,000 right now after 13 days. It hasn't even hit halfway to it's goal yet. Unless there's a giant surge in backing, it's gonna fail.
  13. That's unfortunate. It's highly unlikely that we'll get a fan translation mostly because of this kickstarter failing (I've accepted it at this point). Looks like I'm gonna have to read this one via hooking which is something I didn't want to have to do.
  14. That's true. Everytime I see that an anime is based on a visual novel, I know they're gonna fuck up the adaptation in some way so I'd rather just play the visual novel. The only exception I can think of is Steins;Gate and Clannad. I really enjoyed the anime versions and I still have yet to play them. Visual novel adaptations get a bad reputation from visual novel fans from what I've seen and they can totally justify that fact by pointing out series like Air, Fate/Stay Night (2006 version). Umineko, Majikoi, Grisaia No Kajitsu, and Chaos;Head. Hell, some of the actually visual novel adaptations pale in comparison to the visual novels. Kanon is one I can think of. I loved the anime, but the visual novel is great. They actually give a great ending to Nayuki in my opinion. And there have been quite a few great visual novels that haven't been adapted like G Senjou No Maou, Sharin No Kuni, Muv Luv, Cross Channel, Kara No Shoujo (into a proper anime, not the bullshit that the hentai was), and Yume Miru Kusuri although I'm scared that the adaptation will be bad. Visual novel adaptations are more balanced towards bad or mediocre than Great. I got off topic somewhere in there, but I have a lot of passion towards visual novels and seeing them being screwed up in anime aka the more well known medium makes them stay away from this awesome medium and community.
  15. The main reason I haven't contributed is mostly because I spent all my money from Christmas before this Kickstarter was announced, but I can see why people would have a problem with that. That'd also be my mindset because Sekai Project will probably release it anyways.
  16. Well, the kickstarter is nearing the halfway point and to be frank, it's far from looking good to me. Currently, they're at 50,590 and in order to meet the goal, they need to get an average of 4,700 to make it (rounded up number) and based on how much it's making daily, it seems to me that unless there's a giant surge in popularity for the Kickstarter, it looks like it's not gonna make it in my eyes. And yes, there's always the giant increase near the end, but at the pace it's going at, that won't really matter.
  17. Moe is good to have as long as quality reads keep coming out with said moe. I don't want to have to look really hard just to find a great visual novel.
  18. Yeah. I kinda figured that out along the way while reading the tutorial you gave me. Everything is working fine so far, now I'm just waiting for my test VN to finish so that I can test the name thing with TA helper.
  19. So far, I have played 19 visual novels according to my VNDB. I could add 3 more there if I'm counting the ones I didn't finish. The fact that I have no time because of school and that I tend to read twice a week at best is preventing me from reading more. Plus, for the past few days, I've been trying to get the hooking tools working properly and they only started working great today so now I have more reading options.
  20. Yes. It'll work for sure for the rest of your life until you either die or forget about visual novels altogether.
  21. Just a question, how would I know the names in Kanji to put in the names text file? Do I look them up on a site or something?
  22. I'm in the middle of exam season so I have no time to learn it, but I'll check it out thoroughly after exams are finished.
  23. I'm planning on really starting to learn it after I'm finished high school. I'll probably take courses in College on how to learn fluent Japanese.
  24. I at least want to understand what's being said.
  25. Can you please link me some of these threads? I don't think I can tolerate all this broken english anymore.
