I know it's not quite the right thread, as this one is made in France, butt fuck it, no one reads the general movie thread. So through a lot of coincidence that i was mostly unaware of, I got to see Ghibli's first international co-production, The Red Turtle, weeks before its official release, with an hour-long Q&A/commentary with the director. Which was interesting. The movie was pretty awesome as well, just don't expect it to be Ghibli-esque in any way. It's mostly a classic fairytale with some very powerful undertones of family. in terms of visuals, it had some decent 2d and 3d animation, but absolutely stellar art direction. I'm not the kind of person to rate films, and i certainly don't intend to rate this one a 9/10.

Good points, but I'm not worried. they're still bringing out books their usual way as fast as they did at the start, if not faster. This is just my impression, but this is just a very different kind of project for them. It's a multi-volume story, it's very old and they get to work much more closely with the artist, so there's a lot more opportunity for physical extras. and so, they just decided to use kickstarter. as for the campaign itself and their explanation for using kickstarter; Well, I'm not exactly a veteran like you, but it looks fine to me.

From what I hear, there's a lot of remastering to be done.

damn, that does look pretty good I've done some searching on vndb, and it seems that most vns, even the highest rated ones, have extremely boring ones. I'm really not saying a ui should pop or anything, but come on, at least think of something that looks nicer than a transparent black box please.

It's really interesting to see the new members form their own groups, it's as if the old members who shaped Fuwanovel are slowly disappearing and starting to not care about the site anymore, i personally am one of those people, and while it's not meant to be a bad thing, a lot of old members who used to be active are starting to realize how much this site has turned, there really is no unity on Fuwanovel at this point, It used to be a site dedicated to finding a common interest and banning together on site projects/ideas, but now it's just a haven for social cliques, Anyways, not trying to be a negative Nancy, Congratulations on 1,000.

Mine's from a hentai manga called Hanafuda, and the character is a magical fox trying to turn itself into a human, hence the weird look I think it's extremely good for such a short manga (112 pages), although I am biased because I freaking love everything Okama does. It's a unique experience, that much i can guarantee
