i can't really say any of these things are the most important to me, it can't really be good unless it has at least decent everything. i happen to be a big fan of the combination of writing and music done well, but characters, art, story, pacing etc. can all make or break a vn for me

i'm generally not a big fan of heavy moe artstyles, but i like ooishi ryuuko's work because DEM COLOURS!!! my favourite artist is jen zee by a LONG way but she doesn't do vns (sigh)
