What is the one trait that makes you instantly like a heroine?
Bastian77 replied to Dergonu's topic in Visual Novel Talk
Traits that get me instantly would be: Composed and mature Laid-back personality Keeps true to her own beliefs Older sister type that likes to be spoiled And all these traits make two of my favorite characters, Benkei from Majikoi and Aki-nee from Baldr Sky! -
I'm not really sure what you are looking for but I think these should sort of match your descriptions. The Legendary Moonlight Sculptor Break Blade Rain

For untranslated ones, these two are on my list of games that I am going to play. Tayutama -Kiss on My Deity- and Amairo Islenauts

What makes Grisaia no Kajitsu so great?
Bastian77 replied to starlessn1ght's topic in Visual Novel Talk
Fair enough, all I wanted to do was point out that her character isn't as unbelievable as other stuff that happens in this game. For example: -
Sorry about the last post, I misunderstood. But if you are not getting a disc error and just a black screen, maybe you have to reinstall it and apply the crack again. Because before you apply the crack, you get a disc error and after you should be getting the game to play out... To be honest, the big problem when I played this game was getting the text to show up and thought that you were having the same trouble.

What makes Grisaia no Kajitsu so great?
Bastian77 replied to starlessn1ght's topic in Visual Novel Talk
I think it was already discussed that this visual novel does not try to make everything believable. Also, in the case that her character was watered down, it would take away from her image of perfection. Kazuki is supposed to be an unbelievable, genius character that can consider all the possibilities of the future. -
Nice choice of VN. I believe the black screen is because you have to change the format to japanese. I'm not talking about the system locale but format which is also under regions, well at least for me that was what made it work.

I guess no one has ever experience a Canadian winter before lol. Last year some days were like -40oC and even lower with wind chill. This year is actually really warm though and doesn't even feel like winter.

I think this picture basically summarizes my thoughts. -
I agree. I was not even interested. The events were all very random and didn't feel like they really were a competition of all-stars. The Fire and Ice thing, tandem and assassins competition, and so on. It felt very boring. I think it might have been because I was so hyped for worlds and after that ended everything else felt meh. Also before, it was so interesting to see the formation of each regions super teams but now its like instead of individual skills, it all comes down to teamwork. Because individual skill level is more or less similar for pro players that are on good teams, it really might have been better to see just the original teams in action. Like I mean SKT lost 1 game during all of worlds and it would have been interesting to see them again instead of team LCK.

For some reason, I didnt enjoy watching All-stars as much as the years before. Anyone agree on this point?

Playing Hello Lady! and its actually such a great game. Reading the vndb description, I thought that this game was supposed to be a game full of Oujo-sama's but its actually about superpowers. Who would have known.

What makes Grisaia no Kajitsu so great?

It might just be the fact that you are rereading it and have time to pay attention to more of the details. I didn't feel the same way as you when I read this visual novel and I felt that the characters did break out of their molds in parts of the story. And even though people are predictable and formulaic by nature, we are still able to show moments spontaneity that exceed these expectations. -
Thoughts on the latest Anime series that have released?
Bastian77 replied to DarkZedge's topic in Anime/Manga Recommendations
Can't say I watched much anime this year but the one that I liked most was Rokka no Yuusha. I just loved Nashetania and the setting was excellently done! -

In Meikyuu, Professor Dave actually introduces more H-scenes in case you didn't have enough. -
Rather than good, for me it's more appropriate to be called satisfying. Won't go into anymore detail though since that would be spoiling. Hidden Content Alright, over winter break I guess I'll give it a try. I'll probably have more than enough time to start again and this time I won't be reading 24/7, rather I'll try to space it out so that I don't get tired of reading it.
-
I never picked it up Mushoku Tensei again but is the ending really that good? I feel that the quality of the writing drops as it got later but that might be just because I got tired of reading in general. And also one other thing bothered me.

So I just started playing Eden* because I wanted to read something short after Baldr Sky. Thanks so much Ariurotl!
-
That was actually one of the big reasons that I could not put up with finishing this light novel even though the whole thing is translated. It's very unfortunate because the start was amazing and had sooo much potential.
-
LOL But there was no dunking so I was a bit disappointed... Edit: On a side note, my favorite worlds moment was also with a darius.
-
For me the final route was worth it going through all the memory regression.
-
How about Roy KIm and Lyn. And I guess one of Big Bang song just for good measure.
-
Can't beat out this cuteness. As for the key, I would like Eden* because it is on my list of VNs to play.

But Anivia's OP again. But i must agree that Febiven is one of the best mid laners in the world, its a shame he isn't there.
