Saturday, update time. I really hastened my pace this week, and it most likely will continue as such. 2 more H-scenes done, and still as cringe as ever, but I don't hate them. I started playing VNs about 11 months ago, and at this point I have finished 45 VNs and played little over 60, and have 70 VNs overall.

Handle: Arcadeotic Positions I can fill: Proofreading, Quality Checking, Translation, Image Editing and Game Engine Configuration/Translation I'm confident in my grammatical skills and language skills in general when it comes to English language, and I've studied Japanese for over a year now, so I can translate rather adequately. Of course I want to give out as high-quality material as I possibly can, and I want to give material that is of high quality to the community. Type of projects (VNs) preferred: I will work on any project that is interesting to me. Basically anything between moege, nukige and charage. I don't mind H-scenes at all, and I would like to say that I'm rather well endowed in them. Anything except Yaoi and non-PC titles. Otomeges are fine as well if the game itself interests me. But the most that I'd like to be a part of is SoL and moege. Avaliability: Currently occupied with the translation of Bishoujo Mangekyou -Norowareshi Densetsu no Shoujo-. Hopefully will be free after halfway through the year. But it never hurts to give me a call. VNs most intrested on giving a FTL for: Honestly, I'm intrested in almost every moege ther is, but more-so towards Yuzusoft's, Alcot's titles and to every moege with brilliant art. Motivation for joining a FTL: As stated above, to give more to the community, but to also help my language skills in the future, as I'm heading to that direction. Conditions: I honestly just want a decent, motivated team, that wants the FTL to be in the general public as much as I would. The members should have experience, even if for just a little bit. I am a rather blunt person by nature, so I won't necessarily need the team to be chummy with each other, but I'd like they to be friendly or at least in the neutral ground with each other to some extent. Also, I may not need friendliness from my fellow teammates, but I'd like to get respect, at the very least. I just want a team that works as a team, everything else is just extra. Welp, that was an interesting week, to say the least. I got 20 kB of text done on one day, and then I was pulling an all-nighter, and barely got 10 kB's of thext. Life works in strange ways, eh? Anyways, this weeks progress was rather decent progress done. I got a little under 60 kB's of text done, which is decent enough, and I'd like to keep the pace up. And thus I will now try to get at least 50 kB's of text done each week. With that amount of progress each week, this TL will be finished in about 3 months, which is fast enough for you guys. Also I did two H-scenes this week, which was... embarrassing to say the least. When I was translating these scenes, I felt so ashamed of my life descisions, but at the same time, they were kind of fun to translate. But still I prefer ordinary text over H-scene text, but I don't hate it, oddly enough. Princess Evangile Honestly, this beautiful bastars of an moege is the thing that got into VNs. I still get massive feels when listening to the title music. Great stuff

So, As I have been delving more and more into this community, I thought it would be a good idea to introduce me, before I delve too far. So, I'm Arcadeotic or just Arc, a VN-fanatic from the north. I have been lurking in this community for about a year, a little more than how much I have been playing VNs. But as I haven't really posted anything, that is kinda irrelevant. Anyhoo, how I started at this medium was watching Sakurasou Pet no Kanojo maybe, 1,5 years ago. Then i got into little more anime, then into manga, and then into Light Novels. I truly got into this community 11-ish months ago in the start of February, 2015. I know how many people start with easy, short Visual Novels and KS, but I started with, funnily enough, Princess Evangile. I was browsing Youtube, and I saw how some channel was playing PE. I watched an hour or two, and then right after bought it. Then I basically was locked in my room for 5-6 days. That's basically my origin. Now it has been almost a year. And I have collected about 70 VNs, beaten over 45, learned Japanese decently enough and made myself a part of several communities. I must say I'm happy for what I've gotten in under a year. And now I may try to grasp something even greater. Now that introductions are over, I can say, Thank you and I'm looking forward to our future patronage and collaboration. So, I've been thinking. As you may or may not know, Bishoujo Mangekyou -Norowareshi Densetsu no Shoujo- (https://vndb.org/v8038) got a Finnish translation a few dozen days ago, and I was thinking that it's a shame that it doesn't have an English translation. As I'm a native finn and have been studying English for a long time and have adequate skills in it, I thought it would be great to TL this title from Finnish to English. The quality of the TL will be unknown as I have only looked the Japanese text only so much, but the Finnish to English part would be completed fairly skillfully. I myself think it would be a great project for me at the moment, and it would help brush up my English skills. I have no experience in VN editing and such, so I will be only translating the title. Now, the question is if you, would want to see this come to reality? If you do, great. I will put up the website and such once the TL is in adequate state, and look for editors, quality checkers and so on. Please, do leave your opinion for somewhere me to see.
