Yep, that's the way they handle some problems on recovery companies. However you have to find a disk from the same series as minor differences exist between them. And also you need a special screwdriver that stops once the screws reach "perfect stability", or it'll be uneven and the platters will wobble.

Not only the price, the time it takes unless you're willing to "buy priority". If you want to risk the data on the disk just to save over some files, depending on the error a hard drive can get a short revival after a day in the fridge.

As with other not so stable VNs I'll give you the sanity survival tricks: Save, save, save, after every choice Be careful with the skips When it crashes, don't skip where it crashed, take it slow just there, maybe quick-save last remembered lines before it crashed. These tricks has to be used in some VNs the programmers have made a bad work, also one should try to search for latest patch for VNs with known problem. -

I remember kimi-nozo sometimes crashed for no apparent reason also. It also goes into a "secure mode" when it is restarted after a crash where you have to reactivate the sound. This was back in xp so I don't think it's something special for windows 8. -
Well maybe they still might be able to include Kokoro's bad end, because it has a "morale" or so to say (it does not put the questionable content in a good light), on the other hand that might not be enough for some westerners. We can also hope for a more stable version, as always, after all Summer Days was so unstable that it had to be re-released with the addition of a new main route as Shiny days. Whenever that shiny day actually comes.
