  1. I haven't been around long, but thank you for all the work you did for the forums. You helped foster a good community. I hope you can stay around, it would be good to get to know you better.
  2. Similar to Down, on a fundamental level I can't get behind any prohibitive restrictions on anything that doesn't have a victim or produces harmful secondary effects. I'm sure a case could be made that lolicon does have a secondary effect on society, but I'm not sure it would be a strong case as I don't think the effect would be anything that would be measurable, quantifiable. or even real. That being said, the concept itself does make me uncomfortable and I have my own misgivings with it. However, my personal feelings have nothing to do with whether something should be banned or not, nor does it give me any right to condemn those who produce/consume lolicon.

    Hello

Welcome! I hope you enjoy spending time here. It's a good forum filled with good people.
  4. "Damn it feels good to be a gangster."
  5. Have you tried asking around their IRC channel? Alternatively, you could try getting a hold of the author of this thread: https://forums.fuwanovel.net/index.php?/topic/1368-starting-majikoi-new-project-spanish/ Good luck.
  6. My guess would be you need to set your locale to japanese. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-vista/change-the-system-locale
  7. This looked like fun to share so I decided to take a few quick shots. 1st pic: File drawers + work desk 2nd pic: Work desk 3rd pic: Computer desk 4th pic: computer desk+printer
  8. Maybe raffle off/give away something worthwhile? Maybe free food? I don't know what sort of restrictions are typically put on operating a convention booth, but those would pull me for the most part. T-Shirts are overdone, imo.
  9. Granted, you are now the leader of a devoutly ascetic organization who shuns all modern conveniences. I wish I was able to see why kids love the taste of Cinnamon Toast Crunch.
  10. Welcome to the forums. Your blog looks like it has an interesting mixture of content. I'll be sure to take a look at at it a little more in-depth later. I hope you enjoy the community here.
  11. I'm currently working my way through Amane's route in If My Heart Had Wings. Played all the other routes. I enjoyed Kotori's route the most so far. The climax really piled it on and the conflict(s) weren't so 1-dimensional. Asa's route was alright, but weak. I guess it was primarily setting you up for the twin route. The twin route was played too straight for my tastes. Ageha's route was the most disappointing, particularly because I enjoy her characterization. The tension itself was fine, but it's source just strained credibility and the whole thing ending up feeling like a mess by the time it was over. I've heard Amane's the best route from a few people, so I'm glad that I saved it for last.

  14. Welcome! You have any visual novels you're planning on reading at the moment?
  15. Pretty good way to start your day. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G7xAbT4jzD8

  17. I did a little digging around google and found this topic: https://forums.fuwanovel.net/index.php?/topic/176-chaoshead-black-screen/ I'm not sure if that exactly fits your situation, but I hope it'll help in some way. Good luck.

    Hi

Welcome! You're off to a great start. That's quite a lot you have on your plate.

    Hello

    Welcome and enjoy yourself.
  20. Welcome! I'll second both Ever17 and Umineko. Katawa Shoujo is a solid choice for someone new the VNs. If you enjoy Lewycool's and Nayleen's recommendation of G-Senjou, you'd also enjoy Sharin no Kuni.
  21. Oh, no. That sounds about right. I'm making it a point to really take the time and smell the flowers and enjoy the world R* built myself. I sink quite a few hours in between missions just watching the in-game tv programs, joy riding and listening to the radio, and doing all the hobbie mini-games. Cycling is crazy fun, particularly down Mount Chiliad. Also, the work they did underwater was pretty surprising. You can buy scubagear and even a small submersible and just go at it exploring the sea floor.
  22. Happily taking my time with GTA V. The game's pretty great.
  23. Thanks for all the hard work in bringing back the site and forum. I'm glad to see them back.
  24. I can't make any personal recommendations, but I did filter through vndb with the 'Alien Heroine' tag for you. Apologies if you'd already done so. http://vndb.org/g509?fil=tagspoil-0.tag_inc-509;m=0;o=d;s=rating
  25. I would without a doubt say it is, even if I try to filter out all the nostalgia involving it. Living up to a decade wide legacy is probably a different thing, though. Between the hype it's built up and its age, it might fall short of expectations. The story and it's characterization is fantastic however, especially for Star Wars.
