Played a few hours of GBU on Black 2 today. Pretty psyched for X and Y.

This might be nitpicking, but we do have such things as victimless crimes in America. Though you can argue if any crime is really 'victimless' as they may have secondary effects in a broad sense or undermine societal values.

I wouldn't be concerned with matching estimated reading times for VNs. As it's been said above, it varies by person: reading speed, if you re-read sections or stop to think, if you listen to all the voice acting. You can significantly increase your reading time quite easily. It takes me longer than the estimated length when readings VNs and I'm not even a slow reader, I just try to savor as much of a VN as I can and commit it to memory. You do eventually get an idea of how long a VN will take you judging by the estimated length.

Tactical roll.

Some of the death animations in that game are pretty brutal and uh... worth the watch/amusing. Silver linings and all that.

1) Eeeeeh... mostly no. It's got nothing to do with the stigma associated with incest. It's just that how easily the familial relationship falls wayside in favor of a physically intimite one just never clicks with me. I would be very interested in seeing it wholly played straight in a realistic way however. Plus little sister type characters do less than nothing for me. 2) It's unequivocally okay. Portraying such events harms absolutely no one.

I would love to read something like this, though I don't think I offer enough perspective to contribute in a meaningful way. It would be cool to help in some form or fashion should this get off the ground. I do have quite a bit a free time just being solely a student.

That's a strong list. Thanks for taking the time and thought to put it together. There was a couple of things on there that wasn't on my radar.

Without going into too much detail, I do have a soft spot for osananajimi, shy, and oddball heroines. It's not bordering on any sort of complex, but I do tend to gravitate to those sort of routes first. They often can be a mixed bag in terms of quality because of all the common cliches associated with those archtypes, though. I'm largely fine with all archtypes though, as long as it's done in a fresh way, subverts expectations, or just simply implemented well.

You might indeed enjoy G-Senjou no Maou. Going by your post, there'll be a good deal of fluff you won't enjoy. Luckily you can neglect all the routes leading up to Usami's route (the true end) as they don't have any supplemental bearing on it. Playing all the routes will make the epilogue after Usami's route more meaningful, though. I'll second Swan Song. It might be to your liking. Keep in mind both of these contain H-scenes, unlike any of the games you've played. Oh, and you might look into Never7 or Remember11.
