Just watched the Black Rock Shooter OVA and didn't think it was particularly good. Most people seem to say that the OVA is better than the series, so is there any point to me watching the series?

I own all of the Assassin's Creed games released to date...but i've never played past Brotherhood. Gave Gods Eater burst on the PSP a go but didn't really enjoy it. Spending more time on Star Ocean 3 again and am really getting into FFXIII-2.

Looking at what you've got so far and the reactions from everyone on the site, i'm very interested in giving Unhack a go. The new art looks really good and voice acting will just make it that much better. Catherine is amazing =) Though the evil end is so much more epic than the good one. I wouldn't have liked the game nearly as much if I had gone for the good end. Trying to explain to my girlfriend why a game about cheating is so good is...tough >.> I enjoyed State of Decay for the time I played it but I never made it to the end. By the time i'd moved into the best home in the game it felt like there wasn't much else worth doing. Still, I don't regret buying it at all. Just started playing Gods Eater Burst. Seems pretty interesting, though I think the story will make it or break it for me.

Those are both two of my favorite VNs. If I wasn't hooked before playing them, I certainly was afterwards

My first was Aselia the Eternal, though at the time I though it was just a normal video game. My flatmate had been playing it and gave me a copy. The degree to which the story predominated won me over and made me start looking for more games that were similar. The first title that I played that I actually recognized as a Visual Novel was Kira Kira. It had its faults but I loved the experience and listening to the BGM a year later still evokes the same feelings that it did in the original VN. I've been devouring Visual Novels ever since

Valkyria Chronicles is awesome I didn't have it for long enough to finish it though. I own and have finished the second one, however.
