I stand by my statement (that I may or may not have made) that Abby is overall the better servant. Hokusai shines when you build a team specifically around her specifically for spamming her NP against challenge quests with a bunch of different classes, but Abby will help out your team in just about any mission or team composition. You're welcome, I've been doing uh, a little bit of farming myself.

I've heard good things about it, but I'm not going to support Epic or install Windows 10 for it so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

While it is impressive how fast they're going (though it should come as no surprise having seen how quickly they TL'd Hoshi Ori), I was just talking about the fact that they picked the 2 best girls to start off with.

It's about time

Well, now that it's Okita's rateup, I spent the rest of my quartz, and even bought one quartz pack. Ended up with Suzuka, Lanling, Nezha, 2 copies of Summer Lion King, and when I had 8 quartz I did a single pull + the free pull, and on the free pull I finally got Okita.

I had 690 quartz and I spent 420 of it, and all I got was a bunch of 5*s and 4*s I didn't want (except Mordred and Melt)

So far in the second banner I got Nightingale, Hessian Lobo, Xiang Yu, Mordred, Enkidu, and just 2 Melts from the actual fucking banner.

Welp, I didn't realize that Columbus' infinite unremovable guts weren't actually infinite and you just needed to kill him a couple of times, so...

She's cute but in terms of gameplay she's pretty standard, nothing to write home about. She is buster though, so you can use her for Merlin shenanigans. I prefer Fujinon but I don't know when you guys will be getting the KnK rerun.

Got Carmilla NP1, and Okkie and Musashi NP2. Time to wait for the next banner

Don't have Emiya Alter and never used Tristan, but Saberlot is an absolute crit beast and widely considered the best 4* Saber, if not the best 4* in general. As for grails, there's not much point in grailing for pure practicality. The benefits are generally very minor. It only makes sense to grail if you're going to be using that servant an absolute fuckton and you really want every bit of bonus damage on them, or if you just really like them. Sometimes you get lucky and you get both. That said there was 1 case where I grailed for practicality first and liking a servant second, it was Summer Mordred to 90. Not that I don't like her, but that alone wouldn't have gotten me to grail her as I'm very stingy. But it just so happened that with the setup I had with her for farming QP doors, sometimes she'd roll low damage and not get enough overkill hits to fully recharge her NP, and when I grailed her to 90 she had enough damage to ensure that she'd go back up to 100%, 100% of the time. Aside from her, I have Kiyolancer and Tamacat at 90, and Illya, Sitonai, and Abigail at 100 and 2000/2000, all primarily grailed for waifu reasons. Illya isn't very good outside of bursting down big assassins with a Merlin or two, Sitonai is pretty good in the usual situations where an Alter-Ego is good, and Abigail is far and away my most used servant because almost nothing counters her and she brings utility and damage to just about any team.

I already have her at NP2, and anything past NP2 is a marginal increase. Upgrading from NP1 to NP2 improves NPs by the same amount as upgrading from NP2 to NP5. Also the odds of getting exactly her are pretty low and I didn't really want anyone else in the knights gacha, meanwhile there were several servants I wanted in cavalry, namely Waver, Skadi, Arjuna Alter, and Illya. It's just simple maths.

Got Kama in the GSSR. She seems pretty good so that's nice.

The summer events are generally fairly grindy, because they tend to last longer than other events.

I have quite a bit more gold casters than any other class, but I do find a lot of lancers to be underwhelming. Between Tamamo for male enemies, Kiyohime for non-male enemies, and Karna for an AoE NP I have all my bases covered and don't use any of the other ones very much.
