I've just completed Shizuru's route in Rewrite; it was so much better than I expected. The first 3 routes were decent enough but this route tops all of them tbh. I was gearing towards a low 8 rating after clearing the first 3 routes but now I'm not so sure anymore. I'm still not done with Akane,Terra and Moon so hopefully I will enjoy them even more than Shizuru's route.

Have you read any of the bad ends yet? I gave up after reaching 3-4 of them since there were simply too many bad ends. Also, you've mentioned Rin and Saber but how do you feel about Sakura?

You could always make a vndb list to keep track of all the visual novels you've played. Not really. I don't think most (if any) point and click games have as much humor and plot development as Ace Attorney. Well, you're still on the first one so the best parts are yet to come, but you'll know what I mean once you reach the 3rd game in the series (Trials and Tribulations). Well, anyways, welcome to the forums! I was also a lurker here until 2 months ago

Thanks for the help! I have both Medusa and Hassan so I will take your advice into consideration. Also, how do I increase the number of stars for a Servant? Is it even possible to change it? And how do you obtain a 5* Servant, without cashing (is it even possible at all)? P.S Sorry for the noob questions.

Hi, I'm new here (started on Saturday,21 April, one day after it was released in my country). Please give me so tips on leveling up Servants. My party setup is as follows:

What is considered "finishing" a Visual Novel?
Inorin replied to FatEdenshaw's topic in Visual Novel Talk
When you feel like enough is enough. I consider myself done with Muv Luv even though I've only read 4 routes in Extra and 1 route in Unlimited. I also consider myself done with Fate Stay Night despite only reaching 3-4 bad ends out of a possible 40. -
Don't worry; Shirou becomes much better in Heavens Feel. I initially hated Shirou too (like how I did for pre-CHOMP Takeru) but he soon became one of most favourite vn protagonists by the end of Heaven's Feel. The character development for Shirou is somewhat similar to that of Takeru, so I'm sure you'll enjoy it (but not before raging over stupid decisions that Shirou makes).

You haven't read FSN? What have you been doing with your life; go read it now! Edit: You should probably read Dies Irae after FSN since they are both quite similar.

Actually, the fandisc delves deep into Houzuki's past so you will definitely better understand his motives and personality in Sharin. P.S The fandisc also contains afterstories for each heroine but like in Grisaia no Meikyuu, they are only there for fanservice so important parts like character development and plot development are thrown out of the window.

How dare you (further) corrupt an 18 year old girl!

Root Letter ain't even that good tbh

Actually I think that the common route might actually be the best part; save for Amane's backstory. As for the MC, I think his perfection is both an advantage and disadvantage. The advantage is that you won't get mad over stupid stuff that he does (Takeru and Shirou come to mind) but the disadvantage is that you won't be seeing much character development from him. P.S I still like him more than most protagonists though.

I got bored with Pokemon on my DS so I tried playing another game for a change. That game would later become my first visual novel I had ever played, but I didn't know it was called a vn until much later (The game's called Ace Attorney by the way). Then, I played Danganronpa and Zero Escape, but it wasn't until 2017 that I started on my first real vn-- Fate Stay Night.

Actually you should try the first Kimika branch right after Invention since the Kimika routes in Invention and Insects have no correlation to each other. Actually it isn't, but I won't go further into detail due to spoilers. It's totally fine

Okay so I've finished subahibi. Phew, this was one heck of a thought-provoking game; I swear 90% of my brain cells are gone by now. I couldn't quite grasp the meaning of End Sky II, but after reading this explanation (with spoilers of course), I feel enlightened. (The spoiler tag below has minor spoilers for Subahibi, Umineko, DDLC and Ever17)

What's the most unique VN that you had read and why

Just finished It's my own Invention and Looking-glass Insects in Subahibi and quite frankly speaking, they are both screwed up (though not nearly as disturbing as I thought). I have never been so infuriated at the protagonist, especially Takuji who's really quite clearly screwed up in his head (desk scene ahem). Aside from that though, I really like how they connect to each other, with the perspectives of both Takuji in Invention and Zakuro in Insects explaining the cause of In conclusion, now that the worst is behind me, I can now finally look forward to the good stuff.

Memorable moments Ever 17: mind fuckery at the True End when everything pieces together Dies Irae: the sheer power and class of the battle scenes Muv-Luv Alternative: PTSD and that scene in Episode 9 Doki Doki Literature Club: Just Monika -
Oh my bad. It's because you said "Wonderful Everyday down the rabbit hole" in your original post instead of "Wonderful Everyday" , so I just assumed you didn't patch it (since Down the Rabbit Hole is the first arc).
