Yeah, I think it is a shame that there are so few horror titles out there. When October comes around I'm going to try and play as many as I can. I think the people that can make good horror titles usually stick with making rpg maker games because I think it is an easier system to use.

Same with you I found the two sim date games on Newgrounds when I was a horny high schooler and I found myself liking those two for reasons other than that. This was the start of my obsession with Galaxy Angel and it also resparked my interest in both anime and manga. Cut to several years later and I find out that there was an official Galaxy Angel game and that it had recently been translated. It was like Christmas in July since my Galaxy Angel mania was at an all time high yet I was a little dissatisfied that Milfuelle was the designated Main Girl. So the fact that I could actually go on a Mint centric route was a huge boon to me. As to why it was Visual Novels of all things? I think the answer to that is because it checked off all the things that jelled with me. The combination of text, a visual aspect, and music hit all of my boxes.

Wouldn't it be better if it was called Destination Love instead of Location Love?(I realize all jp titles are all really stupid for the most part)

Randomly decided to play the yuri vn Butterfly Soup and while I enjoyed it the story ended very abruptly and like just when it was getting really good.

Man, that would be nice to see Kara No Shoujo on steam. It would probably do pretty well with it's distinguishing art style and all. Well I am actually glad at something steam has done for once unless they completely reverse course again like they have done constantly like some kind of bipolar asshole. The unfortunate thing is that steam will really start seeming like another dlsite and a lot of the quality vns will get buried under porn garbage.

I've been giving it a go playing Eden and I'm really enjoying it so far. I think I've almost finished it and am now awaiting the assured downer of an ending. I'm always impressed at your evident willingness to consume mounds of fecal garbage, I guess that's your masochistic tendencies at work huh?

I'll rarely replay vns more than once because a lot of times the common route is really annoying to go through all over again. Especially since I've lot the save games on the vns I would like to play again. At most I'll replay a route that I really liked.

I second that Gii x Atti scene it was absolutely beautiful, romantic and not only that, well written.

I dunno, for me I've never been into the whole debating the merits of every eng vn publisher. It seems like a whole lot of dickwaving to me with the foreskin on the breeze. I just want the translation to not be ass, the wimmin to be interesting and varied, and for the protag to not make me want to slit my wrists.

I'll wait for my expectations to be quite disappointed.
