Saludos.
  2. couldn't login for a while but now it worked. Alive and kicking!
  3. My apologies. I didn't know it looked like that on some monitors. Fixed! Aligned text to the left.
  4. V-Veti? xD LOL. Thanks. I'm glad you like it! This is part 1 and 4 more are on the way. I just hope I don't get buried in work before I can release part 2. p.s. You have great taste. Loving that avatar and signature!
  5. Thanks! I thought everyone would go insane at the sight of such dense information! XD And sure, I don't mind. Featuring this will help it spread an more people can benefit from it that way. I'll be making some adjustments and add stuff I might have missed too. (including my horrid "skype-esque" penmanship)
  6. This is a long comprehesive guide It has now been moved to the mainsite. to read it click the chapter images for the individual parts: note: part 4-5 not made yet. but hopefully will be added in future
  7. I know someone. He's project leader of witch's garden and knows how to handle the repacking of files: nerodragon12 Send him a PM, tell him Helvetica sent you.
  8. Porting. Not only are they translating it but they are also moving over the assets and script to Ren'py. Not common, but definitely not unheard of.
  9. Nosebleed is right. It's far easier to create a patch by yourself than remake an entire VN for the same purpose. However this is not necessarily a waste of time. There's many, many old/retro VNs that scream for a remake and Ren'py is totally capable of that. Seasons of Sakura for example got a brazilian re-release vía Ren'py and all time classics like "True love" or "paradise heights" would benefit from the revamp. Whatever you decide to do, good luck. Do keep us posted, I am personally interested in this VN getting a eng patch and/or anything ren'py related.
  10. We welcome our newest member! Omega He joins our ranks as Scenario Writer!
  11. Why isn't any of the Silent Hill games listed? XD
  12. I'm normally very careful when playing VNs but there was this one time at bandcamp- oh. Nevermind. Anyway, back when I was a teen (like a couple of centuries ago) I left my PC on and went off elsewhere. After like 1 hour I returned only to find my sister playing "True Love" (The dating sim) which I left paused. I quickly removed her from the premises and told her she shouldn't play this stuff as it wasn't for girls. She would still sneak in and play whenever I wasn't around and even got to finish it. the H-scenes didn't faze her.
  13. I'm gonna pull my fangirl card and tell you guys: ANY NEWS ON NEXT DEMO? I WAN'T TO SEE MORE OF THE STORY, THE CAST AND THE GIRLS... OH THE GIRLS, THOSE GORGEOUS GIRLS. Ahem.. anyway I can't wait! please tell me it's coming soon. XD Kind regards.
  14. I know what you mean but you also know what happens when they put pressure during the final stretch. Speeding things up could lead to poor results and people are going to complain about that as well. I think it's best just to be patient and wait. Giving them words of thanks and cheering works better than cracking the whip on them. I'm pretty sure they are plenty stressed out as it is. :S
  15. To the guys pressuring the QC/Cleanup team. Guys. Chill. Please let the guys do their thing. If any of you could do better you would have volunteered, am I right? And then you'd be in the same boat. Don't forget that nobody is paying them for doing this and they don't owe you any explanations nor are they forced to meet any deadline. Be constructive and encourage them/ be grateful for their efforts.
  16. I saw your thread over at lemma, just yesterday! I'm glad you decided to spread the word over here. Keep up the good work, you have my support! btw, I love the GUI. Killer designs, and this is coming from a graphic designer. :3
  17. Update: Main post has been updated! There's a little surprise there for you guys. We're looking forward to your continued feedback! Warm regards from Red Lattice Studio
  18. Every VN that comes from japan has censored genitals. (the infamous mosaic.) The censorship was removed by yours truly and the images packed into a patch. "Uncensored" is actually "decensored" unless it was never censored in the first place.
  19. I like the lovey dovey, corny, sticky, super pink events that MC has with the heroines further down their routes. It's absolute bliss and makes me remember my own personal experiences. Not to mention it makes the inevitable melodrama that comes after that much more bearable.
  20. Phantasy star online 2 is a good one. And a real time sink, you might play it nonstop for 2 years before burning out of it. (absolutely nothing to do with someone I know, nope.) Tera online is also pretty good, providing you have the NASA super computer to run it properly as it's the worst optimized game in the entire world. Warframe is also quite good (not an MMO but it has elements of it, the only difference being the shooter style gameplay instead of swords and staffs.) Id' recommend more if you want quantity over quality, though.
  21. I see. It's common that installers come bundled with adware. These are not viruses. When you are prompted to install extra software or toolbars, you just simply say "NO" or untick boxes. The daemon tools installer indeed comes bundled with adware but so does the direct X installer as well, so you gotta check carefully before you install any software. I recommend you run the installer but make sure not to accept the offers that come bundled with it. Then try to install muv luv and notify me if you have any more problems. Edit: Daemon tools or any other virtual drive mounting software is nearly compulsory for installing most VNs You must have one of these installed in your hard drive.
  22. you serious? I have Norton 360 (one of the most whiney AVs in this world) and downloaded just fine. If you have Avast, please uninstall that POC. It only blacklists software instead of giving actual protection. Anyway. I think RinXD asked if you installed the adapter because it's likely your anti-virus prevented Daemon tools from doing it... I assure you the daemon tools installer is virus free, so install and see if it works. If not, disable your Anti-virus temporarily, install and then re-enable it.
