  1. What future? You have no future with that sorta resume
  2. It's already enough we got LB. Not anymore and hopefully, never.

  4. https://twitter.com/spacedrakecf You're welcome.
  5. Same here, But VN's selling that much on PC's alone... haha, nope. I wonder where's their success hidden. It's not the best game out there, so I'm even more curious. Unless the console market already became so stagnated players will gladly accept anything shoved down their throats.
  6. >secret projects Yeah, that definitely makes me interested.
  7. I remember seeing this last year. Quite incredible. It's hard to imagine how far we got. It's even more thrilling to understand my generation might actually see the first AI's and perhaps, androids that won't be any different from us. that said, unless we'll branch off more into bionics and genetic engineering beforehand. There's a vast potential of different possibilities ahead of us.
  8. Because I typically don't shitpost, unlike the others?
  9. Machine TL can help a lot when you're beginning, but it shouldn't stay for long. In other words - you have to quickly develop at least a basic grasp of japanese language, fully learn kana and move away from romanization of japanese; in fact, the more you will try to romanize it, the worse and harder will your learning become. Think like a japanese and read like a japanese. You will need a lot of perseverance in our age to actually learn it; it's not easy, but perfectly doable, as long as you will put enough effort. To make things better - it doesn't really take that long to learn japanese, to be able to read the simplest vn's - mainly moege, charage and plain slice of life/romance stories. It's the hard sci-fi/fantasy and SLG/RPG hybrids, along with stories that make use of extensive prose and poetry, that are the hardest to tackle.
  10. >Warns all game designers >Tries to rationalize a shitty game > Counts followers and views on Youtube Please A great clash of two, equally hilarious sides. What can I say? People need to finally understand that internet isn't a separate entity. Services have to abide both to local and international laws and Twitch ain't a special snowflake on that part. It's not the first time though, where a "controversial" game with morally ambigious content gets permanently banned from Twitch's services. That said, why care about Twitch so much? There are other, better streaming services available at the moment. Is it perhaps because he gets the most coverage through it? No, not really, as long as you have at least a couple of braincells working. Another perfect example of stirring up a hornet's nest only to discover they do sting. That said, it's quite mindboogling you're able to stream games like God of War which try to be as realistic as possible, but can't stream silly anime games.

  12. Survarium. Nothing better than sniping people across the map with smg's. Either that, or watching sweatermen perish in anomalies
  13. You shouldn't really care what others think of your hobbies. It's your money and your life. It's not like they're a part of it anyway, so why would their opinions matter?
  14. They're not as fun as here, though.
  15. Yesterday upon the stair I met a man who wasn't there. He wasn't there again today Oh how I wish he'd go away. — Hughes Mearns Yes, preety much, although this man would most propably talk to you and told you the world is just about to end and he needs your help to stop it from happening, because you're the chosen one This is the denpa trope in a nutshell, although there's a couple of variations. "Through the eyes of madness" is one of them and that one will be more familiar to people who played Saya no Uta. There are also games that talk about being influenced through strange powers - most typically, it's either the "electromagnetic waves", the true trope namer, aliens or some strange artifacts (sealed evil in a can etc). Denpa stories typically dwelve deep into human psyche, often portraying characters who remain torn between two (or even more) planes of existence and most typically, have problems with distinguishing between or even acknowledging the reality (as in, what is trully "real" and what is not?). As the trope namer suggests, those people seem to "receive" and perceive the world on a different frequency than the rest around them. Tinfoil hats are highly encouraged, if you don't plan on losing yourself
  16. >Eiyuu Senki >serious Katahane, precisely the Kurohane arc. Whole game is worth the read, but mostly for Kurohane itself and it's overall, distinctively european setting. Not really a story of "pick your waifu" sort, though. That said, you can expect some preety sweet yuri and a decent tale of betreyal.
  17. You don't need to rely on superpowers anymore to launch a rocket into space. In fact, if you have enough money, you can rent the chinese launchpad... or any other available launchpad and soon, we'll have many more. It's not the end, as some envision. Hell, it's barely the beginning of a new era. It'll be fun, provided we won't destroy ourselves first.
  18. It's called self defense, not justificable homicide. There is no moral side to killing, it's always bad regardless of reasons or implications.
  19. There is no such thing as "justificable homicide", where did even such a thing crossed your mind? Killing other humans is never an answer, nor a solution to problems. Even self defense doesn't make it any more justified. It just so happens, because we're weak-minded and find violence often to be the fastest solution at hand, hence our history is driven through endless wars and conflicts over the pettiest of arguments; we're mostly unable to strive to find solutions through peaceful cooperation because - in fact - we typically differ too much, and so do our beliefs and ideals. I'm not even going to start a lecture, because it's preety much pointless over here. There's a difference between actual criticism and nitpicking at something to forcefully prove it's bad, even though it isn't. Granted - Himawari might not be to everyone's tastes; Gareji told so, Conjureror tweeted about that as well. You clearly were unable to enjoy it, because your expectations differ too much from what Himawari truly is, but calling that story "trash" is way too far-fetched. Most of your "criticism" points at preety insignificant and subjective matters. You may Dislike Daigo as much as you can, but it doesn't change the fact he's still a brilliant character, that makes majority of Himawari for what it is. You expected something else - a bastard or a stoic antihero? Guess what, he's been made exactly the way to trigger people like you, because GO is a douche when it comes to that It's the same with Aqua After, where a lot of original fans dropped it after getting triggered, due to the fact, how he treats their beloved characters. I'm not saying Himawari is perfect, because it isn't. It's still a masterpiece, though and it's far better than most of other high grade works, like Subahibi, which turn out to be nothing more than pretentious shit in the end. Everything else is a matter of taste. Some things are bad, but we might still like em'. Other's are good but we still might dislike them and it's perfectly fine. Just don't try to criticise something without being purely objective, otherwise it's not criticism at all.
  20. Not much of a piracy, when the software in question is basically abandonware and don't even start with the crap like "doesn't matter, if the creator wished for those to disappear". When you finish and release something - especially a work of art, it does not belong only to you anymore. Numerous people might want to read it and they also have the right to ask for that. It should be our utmost duty to help preserve these works and give them future, regardless whether they are good, or bad. It's because they make a part of this world and influenced and will keep on influencing others, even if it's a notion like "Man, this is so bad. I can do so much better.".
  21. Clear your browser cache and delete cookies. Restart the router and see if it helps.
  22. Himawari was clearly not meant for you.
  23. It's an illusion, or perhaps a dream. In the good finale to Aries' route, it's told directly Youichi doesn't just realize - he knew it all along it was Aries playing a trick on him, ie he came to terms with the fact Aoi is already gone; this is why he was able to break through the spell. The ending in the Tips section literally shows you how Youichi managed to properly resolve his situation with Aries, while she tells him she won't ever give up.
