  7. I really do like the things you say, though I think you are a part of the majority on this last part. It's normal for people to presume that they understand people more than you presume people understand you. Or at least for all the people I've talked to this is the case. As far as my avatar goes, it puts forth an image that I want people to associate with me. I have sides to me completely unfitting of most of my avatars, but there's definitely something beyond 'it looks good' going into my avatar selection. I dont think I'm outside of the majority in this case either. as far as how well I know the people on the forums... Probably 2 for most people (vague sense of personality) and maybe up to a 5 or 6 for the people I talk to a lot outside of the forum. Interested in how they would rate me tbh. Oh an a last part on how well my identity is recognized on the forums. I'd say a good bit. Certain people have recognized things about my personality that I definitely never explicitly stated, while the ones that dont communicate with me see what I want them to see, i think. And it's all nice and good that way ^^ (though on another forum I know a guy who I swear understands me better than I do in some respects)
  8. HELLO THERE. I agree with your sig! I shall indicate the visual novels Tsukihime and Katawa Shoujo for you! Be wonderful, fellow fellow
  9. I could count the number of members who use both TS and FSG (skype) on my hands. Something I couldnt say about each of their unique populations. And each platform has its benefits. Shoutbox is nice and casual and easy to use with no commitment.
  10. poro-rider sej?
  11. I smart cast everything always. it makes things smooth, but it's the reason I will never play Orianna. Learning her is just impossible without seeing the range indicator or spending a good amount of time. Back before Riot felt the need to rip out the heart of AP Kog that was also a hard champ to smartcast with (1.5s cd ult with length that varies by level and is really big). It's pretty easy to get used to and it makes things a lot better. *Most* high level players use it, but it's not ubiquitous among pros.
  12. wooden chairs, man. though normally i'm in underwear
  13. oh my... things got dirty fast. My gooodness
  14. I believe... it's good to believe that killing is bad. But, believing this, you have to wonder whether Kira's methods would lead to fewer deaths/murders. Kira's ideal is this: by showing the world that crimes will be severely punished, fewer crimes will be committed. There are many gray faces to this story. If he can save a million people in the future by killing ten thousand in the present, is he doing good? How do you judge 'good'? I personally tend to think that what benefits the collective mass of people the most can be deemed 'good', but this is definitely something not everyone will agree on. For some people, the idea of 'trading' lives is an act of evil or injustice that cannot be accounted for and cannot be worth any reward. You can contemplate questions such as "what is the value of fewer non-murderous crimes being committed when weighed against the death toll necessary for Kira to establish his rule?" or "is the life of a murderer more/less worthy of being protected than a baby?". In the end, there is no single answer. The answer is whatever you want it to be (...whatever society wants it to be), but it will only be your answer. There is no great authority that will tell everyone 'the answer'. But maybe I just said something that is already very apparent to you. So I guess I'll say that I appreciated Kira for his attempts at martyrdom. He saw a greater goal and sacrificed himself for it. In more ways than he expected to, but even still. That said, I don't support Kira's justice. It's such a precarious justice (exhibited by the fact that it toppled down long before he even succumbed to the law) and the cost of failure is great. side-note of sorts: Its important to distinguish early-story Kira from late-story Kira. As the story goes on, he becomes crazier and crazier in his attempts to flee persecution. His desire to be free and to avoid detection lead him to do things that the idealistic Kira at the beginning wouldn't think of doing. It's also probably arguable that the power itself made him lose it a little. I haven't seen Death Note in years, but my feeling was that this wasn't the case. The power is tied into it, for sure, but I think that fear played the biggest role in his downfall. Fear of failure, fear of a terrible demise and fate, fear of having all of his efforts, what he gambled his soul on if I remember correctly, be for naught.
  15. I'll forgive you for not putting an Ember option *votes in spirit* :3
  16. just make sure you give me the best present ever when you get me, okay?
  17. Is it okay if I swindle my sister into helping me? or maybe some friends?
  18. One of the few hip hop songs I like
  19. Obviously one of my passions is 4-koma/yuri/comedy/BDSM combinations. Really, it's a heavily underrated composition that, for all its vast quantities of available manga, should be blazing with popularity. But seriously I'm actually excited to read this.
