  1. only managed to make 3.5k points, but enough for 10-20k u.u
  2. what is this 3 love gem daily reward I hear speak of?? In other news I managed to finally beat the Event Song on Hard Mode on my fourth try! Made a max-stamina team with 24 stamina and my only precious stamina-regenerator Hanano <3 Tears of joy, but it was only 71k points, not the 95~ I need to make 4-10k and rank and get a love gem T.T (too risky to do it again, I need to make 2k more points in the next 24 hours (or however long it is until the end of the event)
  3. is it just me or is leveling rarer cars much harder? my rares are like 100 +10~ per level or something, but Ru, the super legit pure girl only took 30 +10.5/lvl or something really low... and dont get me started on how hard it is to level the 7 rarity Hanano... it started at like 400 I think I've only played a few days and I'm at 22~ gems, but it's pretty hard to get more. How hard will it be to hit 50 from your experiences? I have 1 UR, the 3 2nd year girls, and Nozomi for rares, and 23 idolized non-rares, only one of them is fully bonded. And does bonding increase stats?
  4. I'll change it back, I was just having fun with the other character interactions u.u sorry bud, haha. How much Pure do you have on your team?
  5. I actually picked up this game because of this thread. I had been contemplating watching the anime, and then I heard about this really fun game, so I decided to watch it and I liked it! Really cute and fun. So now I started the game and I'm kind of a horrible noob, fail most of the hard maps on the first try. I chose Umi as my Main Character or however you want to call it, and I really like it! (Kotori, Honoka, Nozomi, and Eri were also way up there on my favs xD) Anyway, I think I get some of it, I've only played like 2 hours so far (level 9 u.u) and I had some questions: 1. What does bond do? 2. How should I be farming Love Gems? (I'm not totally hardcore, I think, but it's fun to minmax a little xD) 3. what are the uses for Friend Points? just doing normal scouts? I have 1400 atm, should I just regularly dump them into the 10 times scouting? you guys said you were unsure whether the chances for regular scouting changed with one scout or 10 at a time, right? 3. When I was starting off they gave me one free special scout, I think (I was still new enough that I had basically no idea what I was doing) and I got a UR Hanayo. Do I just level her a ton and focus on her, or should I balance her with Umi, or what should my game plan be? Should she or Umi be the 'leader'? 4. What special effects come with holding the 'leader' position? does it matter who is there? (other than that they get the most bond points) Thanks a lot! Hopefully I can get some rares and get a legit team rolling! I've only got 6 Idoloized chars (all norms) so far. Oh, and any tips on strategies for practicing/ritual-sacrifice-making so that I dont trash characters I need or the like. Should I keep one copy of every character so I can idolize them when I find their match?
  6. you dirtyminded fools! fuwanovel myanimelist youtube sc2casts bakabt nyaa //end brunt of internet usage vndb lolesports wallbase facebook like once a week ... maybe google dictionary service?
  7. of the highest order! Jef's delinquency levels remain to be tested, but the data suggests that over 1000% of IRC members are in fact delinquents and highly rowdy.
  8. I would say that I prefer a balance. I think a bookshelf with my manga, and a few posters (currently have 1 24x36 Durarara wall scroll, 3 12x18 Gurren Lagann posters, and a 12x24 Inuyasha poster) plus Kanagawa's Wave and a few anime series that I have (maybe like 5). So, for me, anime and manga are definitely a notable part of my room, but not such that I feel overwhelmed. I tend to appreciate at least some simplicity. I need to work on getting more vn stuff! but it's kind of hard because I'm not a figurine person, and too many posters is a nono. Hard decisions man... so many favourites that I want to represent! just moving back into my house from my dorm, though, so maybe I'll take a picuture when I get it all set up! edit: it actually sounds like I have a lot, but it doesnt feel like an overwhelming amount. I really want to get a pic up ^^ maybe tomorrow I'll do all that jazz... or tonight ... >,>
  9. It's alright. Just send the lings in to scout for danger, they're expendable. Have you checked out IRC? it's kind of full of delinquents, so watch out. There's this one guy called "Kuu" who just abuses me by the second T.T
  10. Minnesnowta USA, up north in the midwest!!! wooo
  11. What's your current favourite slang to throw around?
  12. I have hundreds and hundreds of lovely and amazing backgrounds from the anime and visual novels and manga I read (plus a ton of nature backgrounds), but I always end up using some unrelated image that I find engrossing. I dont understand myself
  13. eleventy percent the eyes say it all
  14. 9.5/10 I really realllly like yours
  15. Seems depressing to not have a second comment on this thread >,> mad props to them staff members, yo.
  16. I really appreciate this story. I think that finding your way is something that a lot of people struggle to do. I know I am still under that umbrella, looking for a me that I can be and be happy with. It's really cool when I think about your story because you reaped the benefits of all the hard work you put into this community, connecting to people. People will always appreciate the care and effort you put into them, and it's really lovely that it also helped you find your way through the complicated mess that modern life can be. Mad jealous, man. I think it will do me good to take a lesson from you u.u
  17. Dude, I'm gonna catch up! This is such a cool thing xD Meph has a great voice <3 (I'm here for you honey)
  18. I took a Biogeography class this spring and one of the topics we talked a lot about was Climate Change. From what I've seen and read (including government and non-governmental bodies of scientists who review the heaps of data we've collected) I have no issue saying that the Earth is warming at an increased rate, that there is an anomolously high number of greenouhous gasses in the air (they tested old air samples using air bubbles trapped in ice), and that there are more traumatic consequences than "people are scared by change". http://www.npr.org/2013/11/05/241607259/thanks-to-parasites-moose-are-looking-more-like-ghosts We can expect significant and damaging loss of life(both human and otherwise--poor polar bears need so much land in order to survive). Bugs that are normally kept at bay by cold winters and the like are becoming more prevalent will spread out further and further, and our access to natural resources will be diminished (most medicines have natural components for example, and some are very rare--look up the Pacific Yew). Ice will melt, the dry places will get drier, wet places wetter, and biodiversity is not something we can recreate. I'll be honest that most of what I'm saying is taken from articles that I've read and that I havent actually done any work with the data, but I've put in a good bit of time reading about it. While water vapor is the most prevalent source of the greenhouse effect, and is completely natural, it is also true that CO2 and Methane, in addition to CFCs and the like are gathering in the atmosphere at unparalleled levels and rates of increase. And they show no sign of stopping. The oceans, which absorb most of the CO2 in the atmosphere, are not keeping up with the cycle as they have in the past, and particles are staying in the atmosphere for longer than before, which contributes to trapping outgoing solar radiation. And there are negative radiative forcings that help cool us down, like aerosols (http://instructional1.calstatela.edu/tsalmas/Biol%20420/Readings/Sci%20Amer%20IPCC.pdf - page 4 has the chart that I'm taking this from), but ultimately, even considering error, the heating trend exists and the rate of heating is increasing and that humans are the source. This is what most researchers in the subject will tell you, and what their data suggests. Sorry for the lack of dozens of links, a lot of the stuff that would be cool to post was linked under our school website (which you'd need a password to access) and I couldnt find links to some of it. Either way, I dont mean to be brutally absolute, but I do believe everything I said, so it'd be interesting to hear someone with other beliefs and a reason for them. I think a lot needs to change, and I think that it's up to politics to fix it at this point in the game. Somewhat related, but also brutally significant: http://puu.sh/8FpWa.jpg
  19. I really really appreciate my mom... more than I think she realizes, which is something that I need to fix this summer. good appreciate thread is much appreciated.
  20. Hey man, late-ish reply, but Welcome! I always love talking to people!!! so maybe we can work something out >,> haha Anyway, this community is probably one of the nicest ones out there, so I'm sure you'll have a good time if you want to.
  21. Someone mentioned Bastion (agree SO much!) and here are some amazing vocal tracks from it: beautiful game u.u https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LlAtBoxaswo And also Journey, for the Playstation 3 has an amazing soundtrack. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M3hFN8UrBPw And this one strikes a little closer to my heart: Diablo II, Lord of Destruction Harrogath theme: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=layjWs2IpS4
  22. "Dear Diary, I seem to be dead" - That got me xD (And the last one is my fav I think, it's so cool) I have actually seen MarkCrilley's youtube, but that was a long time ago and I totally forgot 0.0 so I really appreciate it. It's kind of depressing to watch some of this stuff, cause it reminds me that almost everyone who is good has been doing it for years. But they do say every long journey starts with a single step (heh, how lame am i for using that line? :3) ok, for a while at least I think I'll work on drawing things from life and working on shading!
  23. Those are pretty great. My distaste for being bad at what I do has kept me away for this long, but I'm really feeling it this time. I would upload something, but there isnt really anything... I'll work on it
  24. I should start off by saying that art in general has always impressed me. I've never been anywhere near decent at drawing anything, but it's always been an interest of mine. It's always been something that other people do and that I enjoy, but I kind of want to get into it on a semi-casual-but-also-kind-of-invested level. That said, I figure that just drawing things is the best thing to do if I want to get better at it. For you artists out there, what did you do to get some general skills (like shading)? Otherwise, it'd be fun to hear some stories about all you crazy-skilled artists and how you got where you are!
