I like it a lot! This should be a ranked map, I don't see any problems with it. It's too hard for me to fc though. (That's probably a good thing, as there are few insanes I can fc, so it should be difficult enough.) I'm not sure how to judge a map like this as I never play easier songs anymore, but overall I think it's good. I do have a couple of suggestions though: Firstly, I suggest renaming it to easy as it is too easy to be called normal (at least, compared to most other 'normal' maps I tried). In my opinion, it'd be better if either this slider and/or the one that comes shortly afterwards were changed so they'd either be the same or mirrored, their shape felt quite random. There are two of these sliders, one after the other. I suggest moving the second one to the center, directly below the first one. It felt a bit weird to have that in the bottom-right corner. I also think you should remove the first spinner and either have a break or map it. You don't need to have a break in a beatmap, at least in my opinion. ...I can't SS this, karma hates me. (Sorry, that joke had to be made) Good luck with the other difficulties, I wonder what you'll make of them considering this is a rather slow song.

How's it going with the game you were making?

If you only have 1 and 3, I think you should get 2 as well, 2 teaches a reading for all the kanji. You're not going to get very far if you'll only learn the meanings: it may seem futile at first, but (at least in my experience) learning the readings makes it easier to learn in the long run, if you're reading something for example. As for vocab, I'm struggling with that myself. I use anki for that and I'm hoping I can start reading more and more to replace anki, but you need a good base vocab for that. This works, but it might not be the most efficient way for you to learn. I agree with Berilium, you'll have to find what works best for you.

Why do you hate dealing with people like yourself?
-
It's a pain because your hand moves over whatever I write, which causes the text to get blurry and your hand to get inky.
-
It surprises me how many left-handed and ambidextrous people are here, I expected it to be like 80-90% right-handed. I'm left-handed myself, which makes writing a pain, but you get used to it.

I'm pretty sure you can miss the last bit of a slider and not have it break your combo. If I'm wrong, though, what is the cause of that? I've got it myself several times and assumed it could only be that.

Nice idea, I'd like to join this when it happens. If you're planning on making balanced teams based on average skill level, though, I fear that pairs of the best and the worst players wouldn't make it enjoyable for the lesser player. How do you plan on making balanced teams?

What are the worst/most disappointing Video Games you have played?
Jptje replied to FruitsPunchSamurai's topic in Gaming Talk
Jax and Daxter: The Lost Frontier was very disappointing. I'm a big fan of the series, and it's sad naughty dog didn't continue with the series. It's not a terrible game, but it certainly isn't nearly as good as its predecessors. I expected much more than this game ended up being. -
Yeah, I think I'll keep this one, for now at least.

I agree, I like reading through it again as there are plenty of small events like that. Sadly from your reaction it seems this is a rarity in VN's, which is a pity.

I'm reading clannad now and I've just finished it for the second time. After a little break, I'm now reading it for the third time, but I noticed I have a tendency to re-read everything, even though I've already read the common route twice: I can't help but think I'll miss out on something even though I know most of what's going to be said. So I was wondering, do you skip the first part when you read a VN for the second time?

I'm not good at talking to other people, especially in real life, as in I never seem to be able to read body language. I often misinterpret what people are saying: things like sarcasm and cynicism often lead to awkward situations. I also tend to be far too easy on others (not in the least because I don't understand a thing they're saying), which has caused me more trouble than you'd think. Luckily, all that is improving slowly but communicating in general is still quite a hassle.

I don't think I would pull the string. I see no reason to go to hell just so that a monster who ruined your life would have to go to the same hell with no strings attached (pun not intended). It seems a little pointless in my eyes: you'd make yourself even more miserable just so that the person responsible would be just as miserable. Of course, not pulling the string does mean that person would run free, but I think I'd do everything in my power to make their life miserable. That may end up getting me in hell anyways, but it's already quite sure that that person would go to hell, all you can really do is make their earthly life a living hell. On a side note, I disagree with suicide not being an option for going to heaven under any circumstances. I think there are circumstances where one could get to the conclusion that suicide is the only way out, and in my opinion it would be very cruel for any sort of god to punish someone who is already in agony by sending them to hell.

3. Kanon 2. Toradora! 1. Kimi ni Todoke I'm probably not the best judge for this as I haven't watched that many, but these were all amazing in my opinion.

False (read the wrong one). The next person has a big nose.

Personally, I found that reading aloud helps a lot. But in the end, it really all comes down to practise.
-
I guess I should huh... Well, lucky me I guess.

Just finished little busters! for the first time (Kud's route), and it was amazing. I can't imagine anything topping that, really.

Personally, I'm totally fine with it if both parties want it, but having kids, no. I don't think people tend to look at their family out of utter loneliness, if I were really desperate for a relationship my family certainly wouldn't be where I'd look. Whatever the case may be, there's no reason to believe that people would do that. Like Flutterz just pointed out, you really shouldn't generalise people like you're doing.

I guess I should just bite the bullet and say hello

Welcome to the forum! I'm quite new to VN's myself, so I wouldn't know what to recommend, I'm afraid. -
I usually watch 1-3 episodes a day. Over a year ago, when I first got into anime, I was watching naruto (in hindsight I think it's not that great, but I loved it at the time) and one day, I watched 23 episodes in one day. I wish I had that kind of free time now...
