So, anyone know any VN with a princess type heroine? Not the 'you're all my slaves' type princess, but like a real ojousama type princess. She doesn't have to be an actual princess, although that is also not a problem if she is, but just has that kind of feel to her. Although I am looking for that specific heroine type, it would be cool if there were other routes too :P/>/>. Anyways, thanks for taking the time to read this, and any time spent thinking of stuff. Post Edit: Oh, also if anyone knows any VN in which you, the protagonist, are a student (preferably male) and one of the heroines is a teacher, that would be cool. But not a VN in the Nukige sense, I notice most of the ones I have seen with Teacher heroines are just nukige.

2 things would be to check for Font issues on the net, it may need to be set in a specific font, and also maybe try running it in compatibility mode for XP or something else, that might be the thing

Well. personally, I liked the anime quite a bit, I thought it was pretty good.

So, I have heard things (i think) about some of the stuff in Chaos;head, so I was wanting to ask. Hopefully this can be answered without spoiling to much Does Chaos;head (the vn) have any romance to it, if so, are there any routes, or just a one/true route sorta thing?

I notice you already have a good number of QE/PF, but, if desired, I could help out in either of these aspects. I am also learning Japanese, but I just started recently, so that's still a long way off before I could be of any assistance in that respect. So, I was wondering if anyone knew any VN's like Shinkyoku Soukai Polyphonica Crimson S in the aspect that music is used in a somewhat un-orthodox (read here as 'normal', not as part of a religion). Like, they use them as Commandia's, not necessarily just as a band. The setting can be different, the theme can be different, it's just that aspect I am thinking of. Male protagonist would be preferred, as would one with some romance. Thanks for any help you guys can offer.

Welcome to the World of Tomorrow! Or Visual Novels, two sides of the same coin. Anyways, I actually happen to be extremely prejudiced against dead horses, and even though this is the internet, whenever one is in front of me, I have to beat it, so for the first rec I can give you, Katawa Shoujo, it has a beautiful story, and awesome artwork. I am currently playing through Hoshizora no Memoria, and that one is really good so far too, I am only finished with two of the routes, but both were awesome, so I could definitely rec that one too. *insert creepy horror movie type theme music and creepy narrator voice* Be careful here, young one, many who ventured into the Fuwanovel database, have never returned to normalcy, muhahahaha *end creepy horror movie type theme music and creepy narrator voice, but with a fade-out, so it sounds even creepier, like a montage.*

Thanks for the list, as I said in a different post, which of course you wouldn't necessarily be aware of, I am thinking of beginning working with text-hooker/translation aggregator software soon, so them not being translated is fine. That being said, if I recall correctly, Dracu-Riot is in the process of being translated, I think I remember seeing it, somewhere deep in the winding maze of Fuwanovel, which I get lost in happily for days at a time, although, I may be completely wrong.

I was wondering if anybody knew about any decent VN's that deal with basically normal settings (IE: School, Regular type work, etc) that have aspects that should seem supernatural (read as 'Something outside of the Natural World', not as something fantastic or mystical) or extraordinary (read as 'Something that is not ordinary', not as something wondrous or amazing) but in the VN, it is normal, accepted, or seemingly commonplace, IE: A normal school life setting, but with various types of; Elves, Magicians, Demons, Ghosts, etc. walking around as normal students, teachers, and/or citizens. A decent example of this, I think, would be Shuffle. A mostly normal school setting, but with Demons and Gods attending school, owning real estate, going to convenience stores, etc. The setting doesn't have to be a school, that is just a widely-used setting in VNs, so makes it easier to use as an example. I do not, however, mind if it is a school setting at all, that is fine. It doesn't have to be normal world, per se, IE: It could be a Magic School, it could be a School for Monsters, as long as the focus is on the less fantastic parts of it, if that makes any sense. Basically, I am not necessarily looking for wildly fantastic magical battles, or brutal monster v monster action, etc. Although, again, I do not mind if that is the case. I would prefer it to be at least slightly Romance skewed. H-content is not an issue, although I do not prefer nukige, in the slightest. I do not mind if it has no H-content. I do not mind if it does, this is a non-issue for me, as long as it's not nukige, or goes over-board with a H-scene every 10 minutes. Although it shows my closed-mindedness (gomen ) I do not like Otome games, or BL games, I would prefer it to be a male protagonist and female heroines (if romance is existent in the VN) Although, heroines that are....not quite gender specific is fine, if you know what I mean , and if you don't, then that is fine too And it does not mean Androgynous (read here as Lacking specific Male or Female gender qualities) Whew, sorry for the wall of text, I know it seems like it may come off as if I am asking for something specific, however, I am not. These are not all necessities, I just thought it would be better to flesh out the request a little, instead of just saying something like 'Give me a good one, but none of this'

So, I think soon I may try out AGTH/Text Extractor tools to play some VNs, and I was wondering if there are premade text extractor programs that can be had, or if all the programming, creation and whatnot have to be done by the intended player himself? If the former, does anyone know any of the better, or more reputable programs to be had?

Currently playing through G Senjou no Maou, and Hoshizora no Memoria(primary) right now, loving Hoshizora, it's hilarious, not too far into it, but liking it so far

Well, back in its day, it was a very popular game (regular game not VN) but nowadays it seems that alot of people I talk to haven't even heard of it. It's called Star Control 2, and it was simply an amazing space adventure, with a battle system set up within also. Star Control 1 was a simple, space battle simulator with the thinnest of plots to go along with it, but was well received, so in Star Control 2, they really put their all into it, and made an amazing game. Star Control 2 is about the enslaved human race leading a fight against a host of ridiculously powerful enemies, for the freedom and salvation of not only the human race, but all races in the galaxy. #end-fanboy-hype

So, I have less than no drawing ability, I mean, I can mess up a stick figure, but I would like an image to add along with the end of each story segment, a picture of the Machine Mind( a bad guy in my story), so I was wondering if anyone knew websites where people who like to draw might hang out, who wouldn't mind drawing pictures up for people that they might not know at all. Preferably just because they like to draw, since my current place in life would make it impossible for me to actually pay them anything :S A bit of a tall request, I understand, I'm sorry for burdening you all with this, but my search's on the internet only bring up webpages to learn how to draw, lol, and that would take quite a long while at my current lack-of-skill level. For anyone who was following the story, Pt 2 is now up on my blog, its a bit long...I think I may need to separating into paragraphs if each part comes out that long lol.

I've only played a few, so few so far that I could still name them all here :P/> Koihime Musou, Katawa Shoujo, Canvas 2, Shuffle, Monmosu Quest (extremely! nukige lol) and currently playing through Deardrops and G Senjou No Maou, only 1 route into G Senjou, still working on 1 for Deardrops. Out of the few I finished, my favorites were Koihime, Canvas 2, and Katawa Shoujo. I have found that I seem to have a like for VN's with musical and artistic premise', like Deardrops and Canvas 2. Although I made an exception due to several recommendations for G Senjou No Maou...wait, that may be spoiler-y, so I probably shouldnt type that in the open, what follows is a spoiler for G Senjou no Maou, so dont read it, unless you don't mind, I'll give you the choice, free will and all....
