  1. It's mostly for people that only need a computer to surf the web and such similar basic tasks. Think of it like a person getting a Nokia 3310 instead of a Galaxy S5- they just need the barest bones and nothing else.
  2. Just when I thought I'd escaped the MLA format. Dammit.
  3. May I ask what is, or will be, or was; a "Fuwanovel time capsule"?
  4. Put her into a giant paper shredder
  5. Umineko was like a great joke that went over my head: Everyone enjoyed it while I just stared, dumbfounded.
  6. Cut that hair piece by piece, harden them so that they're rock solid, and drive her slowly to insanity by raping her nonstop with the hardened hair fragments. After that, give her a small knife and unbind her hands so that she can commit suicide while I've implanted a vibrator working at maximum power in her. Edit: 600th post. Yay.
  7. Just got The Witcher 2 for free from GOG's promotion. Do I have to play the first Witcher to enjoy this one?
  8. Tried the ME2 demo and the guns felt far more satisfying. Edit: I got ME1 for around 5 dollars anyway, I can't complain.
  9. Slowly, slowly skewer that eye with a rusty, 9-inch nail.
  10. Finished Mass Effect. Man, what a journey... I especially liked the lore; in fact, it might be my new favorite video game backstory now. It's just beautiful, and an exceptional work regardless of medium. 8.75/10 (-0.25 for graphics, -0.5 for the shitty driving mechanics, -0.5 for dissatisfying gun mechanics)
  11. Finished Tau Zero by Poul Anderson. It was alright, but the characters felt like they were from a normal Turkish soap opera, which is never a good thing. 6/10 overall. Started reading Do Androids Dream Of Electric Sheep by Philip K. Dick and I'm pretty happy with it so far. Some concepts the novel's introduced so far(and by that, I mean the first 30 pages or so) are pretty interesting. My favorite thing about it right now is the writing style, I like how ...Dick (Sorry, couldn't keep a straight face) uses the language.
  12. I finished Haruka Route of Never7. I plan to move on to Isumi's route next, after which I'll do Saki's and then Kurumi last.
  13. Mass Effect (1) has impressed me by being over 30 hours long at this point and not having bored me to death. Unlike Dead Space, the story of the events itself are interesting like the lore, whereas Dead Space's timeline goes and is far more mundane in that regard. I'm quite shitty at the tactical side of combat, as always, but I still find it to be enjoyable now. Ironically, because of how annoyingly hard it is to aim with the snipers, they feel very satisfying. The machine gun feels very awkward, however. Also, I hate having to fight Geth Armatures on foot.
  14. I guess I should finish Spec Ops The Line, so I'm reinstalling it right now, hopefully my progress was not wiped. Bought Civilizatiion V Gold Edition as a birthday present for a friend.
  15. Mamankyoushitsu is a pretty good one. Has a sister route.
  16. Finished the good and bad ends of Yuka Route in Never7. The weird part is, I was aiming for Haruka's route...
  17. Well, 35 GB is the second biggest game I've seen after the 42GB of Bioshock Infinite(w/ DLC).
  18. If you're up to buying a VN and have a DS/3DS, I really recommend 9 Hours 9 Persons 9 Doors and Virtue's Last Reward. If you have a Vita you can emulate 999(as it's for the DS) and purchase VLR, just make sure you read 999 first. Underrated and underappreciated, even in the world of VN's. Definitely read Steins; Gate. I'd say it is the best sci-fi VN I have read so far for PC. Otherwise, all Infinity series VN's (Ever17, Remember11, Never7 -and 12Riven which is currently being translated- are all great VN's.) If you want something "epic" above all else, Umineko. This VN I think takes over 100 hours to fully read all 8 episodes, and literally took me more than 3 months to read. I personally like Danganronpa but as it is pretty... unique in many regards, it might not be the best VN to "get back to the swing of things". P.S: Nice to see somebody else read Mamankyoushitsu, lol P.P.S: I just realized Ever17's VNDB link is https://vndb.org/v17
  19. Continuing on Never7, I'm getting a (vague but possibly big N7 spoilers)
  20. I'm actually enjoying Never7, even as a romance. I'm going down Haruka's route right now, I'll do Isumi next.
  21. Started Never7. Besides having the slowest start(and the least interesting premise, to be honest) of all the Infinity series, the best thing about it so far is the main menu track. I don't know who composed them, but the best track of all Infinity VN's are their main menu tracks...
  22. Going to the mall with a friend today. Going to buy Dune(Frank Herbert), Childhood's End (Arthur C. Clarke) and 2001: A Space Odyssey(Arthur C. Clarke). If I can't find any of the three, I'll buy Brave New World instead. Also, who else has read Of Mice And Men by John Steinbeck? My school made me read it as the summer reading assignment between 5th-6th grades, and the book -unlike most other novels the school made us read- resonated with the whole grade and most of my friends fell in love with it. It's my favorite "classic" novel to date, as I fell in love with the characters and the story.
  23. I've dragged on reading MLA for months at this point and I want something new.
  24. I think I'll start Never7, I want something sci-fi and Muv Luv Alternative isn't really satisfying at this point.
